I had an appointment with her on October 16th but I also had a surgery that day that was scheduled short notice so I had to cancel with her. She told me it'd be a fee of $75. I assumed she meant the $75 would just go towards my fill since she was able to get me in at 8am the next day before she left on vacation since she was very adamant that I come in for a fill before she leaves. Nope. She charged me $175. If it were for any other reason I would take the L & pay it without a complaint but since I've gone to her for so many years I thought she'd be understanding that I am going through a hard time & there has been many times that she would ask me to come in on a different day/time so she could take her mother to the doctor or so she could attend a yoga class & I've always agreed. But that's not even the main reason I'm upset with her. I paid her $175 & went home but when I got a better look at my lashes when I got home, I wasn't happy with the way they turned out so I text her asking if she could redo/fix them for me. She ignored my texts so I asked if she didn't want to fix them then could I get a refund on the $100 (the fill cost). She then blocked me on Venmo & Instagram. No message back about redoing/fixing my lashes or anything about a refund. Just blocked. Please save your time & money & don't get any services done by her. I thought I could trust her but I was so wrong & it makes me sad.

I shouldn't have booked because my experience only worsened. Their cancellation policy does not have a force majeure clause meaning even if you get Covid-19 your $100 deposit will be taken from you (and possibly more). I would have been a new client and notified my stylist as soon as I knew I had Covid. Due to the sickness manifesting outside of the cancellation policy my deposit was still taken. Usually the deposit and the entire fee of the service would be charged but regardless of the circumstances, even Covid which is out of everyone's control, there will be a significant fee if something out of your control causes it to be impossible for you to receive your service.
