Terrible Customer Service. Having lived in Norwalk for 40 years, I subscribed to the e-edition when I moved. Tried to cancel several times and became frustrated listening to an instrumental version (poor version) of the "House of the Rising Sun" for well over 10 minutes on 2 separate occasions. I subscribed to the Sunday only delivery service 5 weeks ago. I only received the first Sunday's paper. I called and spoke to a manger after the second missed Sunday. She apologized and offered to extend my subscription. Next Sunday, no paper (Christmas). Following Sunday, no paper (New Year's) so I gave them some leeway for the holidays. Today, no paper. I called customer service, which is supposed to be available from 8-10am on weekends. No one answered until 8:15am. I explained my situation. All she could offer me is a "promise" that a manager will call me tomorrow morning. I won't hold my breath. The Hour newspaper has a faulty delivery service. If a customer does not receive the paper they pay for, then the customer will cancel. This ultimately was my experience. After more than 4 incidents of no delivery the customer service team could not care less that they lost a customer when I cancelled. Their logic was it was the fault of the delivery service. What they don't seem to realize is that I paid The Hour for my paper and it is their responsibility to correct their delivery issues. Guys you're not the only paper in town. Bye bye. read more
