On the day of the event, they showed up promptly to set up for the party to set up. The attendant was extremely personable and professional. The majority of the guests were teenagers and he did a great job hosting them at the booth. He did a great job. The kids loved the Photobooth and props. After the party, they gave me a flash drive with all the photos taken from the party. We had an exceptional experience with them! Wonderful experience with Jacob manning the Photobooth during our event! He was adjusting the camera for smaller vs. larger groups, directing people where to look and giving clear hand signals (because it was loud). Pricing is good, quality of photos is great, we get the digital copies immediately after event is over, we get a copy of the photo itself PLUS one with the frame and they were able to design the frame exactly as I gave to them (with a few clarification emails). With only three months to plan, I contacted The Houston Photobooth for my sister's surprise birthday party. Thomas promptly replied back and have given me detailed information of their packages. He was very professional and answered me promptly. Tyler was assigned to our event, and he was very professional and accomodating. On the day of the event, Tyler promptly arrived and set up the photo booth without any hassle. There were vast choices of photo accessories, and they all looked brand new. Their props didn't look dirty and did not have any funky smell, as I have had experienced in the past with other photo booths. The glasses did not have any smudges. This is a personal pet peeve, so I was very happy to see this. We had to extend for another hour because our guests were having so much fun using them. The team is quick to respond to emails/inquiries, they make picking out the background/style/theme easy with a menu of options, set up and breakdown is quick and their staff really engages with photo booth goers. I received a quote from another company and almost* booked them for my Baby Shower. One night I decided to shop around and found Houston Photobooth on Yelp. I decided to send an email. I was impressed with the owner calling personally, 5 mins after my inquiry. After talking to him and getting to know more about the company, I was comfortable to book them. Design process was breezy, no hassle with payments. (I like the option of paying cash, check or credit card at the end of the event). I ended up booking his wife as a photographer (wife) for the 5 hour duration of my diva Baby Shower. All my guests enjoyed the booth. They arrived at the venue, prepared and ready to shoot. I love my photo book via Shutterfly style, my two zip drive of photos (Photobooth and Photographer's), the photo book/scrapbook/message book was a nice touch, all guests get a copy of the photo taken at the booth. (Unlike another company, you only get ONE print- even if you have 5 people in the photo booth!) I didn't like the "close up" look of the typical photos at other photo booths so I asked them to zoom out and pay attention to cropping/zoom/composition and they did that to every shot! This booth is NOT a computer managed booth, an actual person is there to accommodate to your zoom, question and guidance. Thomas (owner) was accommodating as I was obsessed with props and controlling the colors - I wanted to have the baby theme with baby blue props. He had some blues he could include but he also recommended options for me and really helped me out with pulling everything together. note: I forgot to request a printing rights to their photos** don't forget to do that if you plan on reprinting pics for the booth!! I wish they were not just HOUSTON Photobooth, since I'm moving and I love throwing parties... I wish I can have them as my go-to company all the time. They are professional, attentive and very punctual, I cannot emphasize how important that is to me- they will be truly missed. my husband and i were so busy during the wedding that we didn't get to take our photo with Thomas! but from what I have seen, HPB was a huge hit for our wedding. Thomas, being a small business owner, is so understanding and flexible to work with you. His price is unbeatable. and I was bit hesitant at first at the quality of photo/machine/etc. BUT I saw the booth, his props, etc... they looked great. He worked with us in setting up time (he set up earlier so he will be gone when the guests will stroll in for the ceremony). He personally ran the booth. The guests got a copy of their photos and we got a usb of all the photos... so that we can look and laugh later. I hope that they can upgrade to online access to photos... but I can't put that against them bc I know that they are a small business. I booked him for 4 hrs and he made sure to set up prior to the event in a non-intrusive way. I didn't communicate well about a change in time for the Photo Booth to be active, and Thomas was very accommodating and courteous and rolled with the change. He was professional and helpful throughout, and we loved the scrapbook that we purchased as an option (we got copies of all the photos on a flash drive but I'm sure I never would have put the book together myself so it was worth it, especially to have written comments by guests).
