Jeff was great. He called me back the same day I reached out to him. I needed a heat wire placed to prevent ice dam formation. Jeff recommended a product, I bought it, and he installed it the day after it arrived. On the way out the door, I mentioned a rattling vent that has annoyed us for a year. Within minutes, he was on the ground, had removed the running board without damaging it, found the problem (a piece of tape had gotten hung inside the wall when the kitchen remodelers had placed the board in the first place), and used his nail gun to replace the board. This was all for 2 hours of work, getting rid of two of our family bug bears. I would definitely recommend him to others. read more

I am extremely pleased I selected Jeff for some projects around my condo. He showed up today right on time and was very friendly and respectful of my unit (and my scared cats). Jeff removed some oversized upper cabinets from a walk in closet, patched, and painted, all in just a few hours, including bringing the cabinets out to drop off for donation. He also filled in paint gaps behind a new toilet and touched up some spots along a couple hallway walls where there was damage from other work. (See a couple before and after photos below.) Jeff's rate was quite reasonable, and he was very efficient with his time. He's also helpful in providing tips so any work I do in the future, I will do better than what was done before. My foster cat got trapped behind my refrigerator and I couldn't get the super to answer calls or texts. My neighbor and I tried to move the fridge but it wasn't on wheels and we weren't strong enough. I had scheduled Jeff, the How To Handyperson, to come the following week to do a few chores. I was looking to have some trim work done in our home office. Our flooring company didn't install shoe molding between the baseboard and the floor and the damaged the existing trim. I posted the job on Nextdoor and Jeff responded. I'm glad he did. Jeff did a great job with the install (it looks really good!) and the repairs to the baseboard he made prevented them from needing to be replaced (they look like new). On top of it, he was great to communicate with, arrived on time and finished on time and cleaned everything up when he finished. He was also really reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate using Jeff again for our handyperson jobs. He was awesome and I'd recommend anyone considering Jeff to give him a shot. read more

Jeff has done several repairs for us, and is extremely reliable and efficient. When we made the classic mistake of buying an appliance from a big box store and having it installed by their people (eesh), Jeff came in and re-installed their dishwasher very quickly (and even fixed a shelf in our fridge that we managed to bust). After I tried to play handyperson and re-caulk my own bathtub, Jeff came and fixed the mess I made of it and now my bathroom looks like reasonable people live in it. My husband I wanted a custom reclaimed wood feature built below our kitchen counter for the past year. We had wood we had picked out previously and were waiting to find the right person. Jeff came out and took individual measurements of EVERY piece, measured the counter area, and spoke with us about adding additional boards to support the weight, and even thought of matching up a corner of the counter that wouldn't have the feature so they would align. He went home and came up with a design with the useable portions of the wood for approval and sent a very reasonable estimate for his time and labor. He even went and purchased the extra support boards and painted them ahead of time for us as well. The day of, he brought all his equipment and cut and fitted each piece to perfection, even with some warping issues on some individual wood pieces. The result was even better then I could have hoped for and looks absolutely amazing! I've had friends/family comment on how beautiful it looks, and we couldn't be happier.
