Her professionalism and good, honest nature puts her in my eyes as a reputable individual who puts others and their happiness above her own. Her dedication to service and supplying others with their needs through her own interests and good will is something special. I would genuinely kill to have her recipes and work ethic/dedication. Her service is admirable and valuable. I highly recommend association through Elizabeth and her businesses.

One word comes to mind when I think about the people and services I received at Your Next Jump…read more Grateful. The biggest fallacy you'll face during a job hunt is the belief that employers are in charge of the process. They're not. YNJ taught me from beginning to end the importance of taking ownership of my story. Through each consultation, call, email, revision, I learned how to take charge of my interviews, certain pitfalls to avoid, and tailoring my story with a clear end goal in mind. The result? - I received an offer every time I spoke to a hiring manager. - I increased my base salary three times. This was all because of their process. They listened, understood the potential pain points within my resume and job history, and turned it into something not only palatable, but of immense value. That's the key. Towards the end of my job search, not only did I land a role in a new industry I was hoping to pivot into (management consulting), but I gained the belief that my skills are something to be celebrated. Thanks YNJ for turning a new leaf in my life and for getting me a job where I'll thrive for years to come.

I purchased the Career Launch Kit for $899 from Your Next Jump (YNJ), along with a cover letter for…read morean additional $100. While I appreciated the professionalism in communication, the overall experience fell short in several important ways. First, there was minimal human interaction throughout the process. At no point did anyone take the time to understand my unique career goals--whether I was repositioning myself for a new industry, returning to the workforce after a break, or targeting a specific type of role. The service felt highly templated and lacked the strategic depth I expected from a career consulting company. They did want me to submit two job opportunities, to get an understanding of the roles I wanted to apply to, but by the time YNJ completed their services, those roles are obsolete. YNJ emphasizes their move toward AI- and tech-driven solutions, but this focus seems out of sync with recent hiring trends and feedback from recruiters nationwide, who have voiced growing concerns about the authenticity and accuracy of AI-generated materials (https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/21/business/dealbook/ai-job-applications.html?smid=url-share). Unfortunately, that disconnect was evident in the documents I received. They don't need to be experts in every field, but there's a noticeable lack of industry knowledge that makes it difficult for them to highlight critical, role-specific functions. Drafts were returned with errors--including incomplete sentences and exaggerated or unclear claims--so I had to carefully review everything to avoid misrepresenting myself. Revision times of 24-48 hours (even for minor edits) created unnecessary delays in my job search. And conversations with Tim felt rushed and surface-level; I was never fully confident that my feedback was truly understood or applied. I did call YNJ to discuss these concerns before posting this review, but they did not respond, I'm assuming it is because they already received their payment. I had roughly five different hiring managers review their work, and none were impressed. While the general template that they utilize is unique to their services and adds a splash of color amid the monotonous pile of resumes, nothing really stands out. In the end, Your Next Jump's work may serve as a basic starting point, but if you're a professional with a nontraditional background, transitioning industries, or aiming for mid-to-senior level roles, you'll likely need to invest significant time refining their drafts yourself--or seek more strategic, personalized support elsewhere.

Which I did for an in-person time several days out, and got a confirmation email back. Nowhere was I required to enter detailed background information. A couple hours before the meeting, I got an email saying I could only do a 15-minute phone call. I further got a phone call about two hours before the meeting from Mike Davidow. He was abrasive on the phone, and stated their consultation fee was $400 for half an hour. He kept speaking over me and complained. All poor service. Suggest they start by improving their website and not yelling at people over the phone. Don't recommend this firm.

Tim covered more ground in those 15 minutes than I probably do in a 30+ minute run. This was, of course, possible because he requested my resume when I scheduled the appointment. Not only did he review my resume prior to the session, he asked questions about my professional history, learned about my goals, and provided feedback. He provided insight, and persuaded me, to stop trying to scrunch my experience into just one page. He provided many visual examples (definitely appreciated them) and helped me find some key phrasing for describing my strengths. He also explained how I can help the hiring manager see how my current goal to pivot my career is a logical one. In the end, I was provided with a resume template. Honestly? I felt invigorated by the whole process, and ready to take on the world. It allowed me to revamp my resume so that I could finally start applying for new jobs. If you need help with your resume, or struggling to highlight how you excelled at your last role, I would definitely contact Next Jump to aid you.

Simply the best! I reached out to YES career coaching…read morebecause I was feeling stuck and ready for a change in my work. My resume was OK, but I wanted to put my best foot forward. The team did a fantastic job on rewriting my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile. I ended up applying to a handful of jobs and got an interview immediately. What ended up happening though is that during the resume rewriting process, I developed this newfound confidence in my work that I never had before and I was going to go after what I wanted to do. I started to network with people that I knew in my area at different companies and ended up with an opportunity that was a perfect fit for me. Since I was a referral, the management team was not too focused on my resume but I ended up getting the job! I am thrilled to start this next chapter of my career and I have to thank YES career coaching for guiding me to see the light I had inside of me so that I can show up and be the best version of myself. Highly recommend!!

My 30 min consultation with Katherine was really helpful! I learned formatting tips and ways to beef up my resume by adding a header, summary, and core competencies and creating sectional dividers. She recommended outcome-based bullet points that highlight the benefits and quantify the results rather than a laundry list of tasks. Katherine was friendly and thorough and even had enough time to quickly proofread my hubby's resume. It was really nice to get an extra set of eyes! While the $299 starter package seems a bit pricey, it's a good deal considering that you are equipped with the A team of an interviewer, drafter, and editor. They will rewrite your resume and can fine tune and belt out those bullet points. While my resume could use a few tweaks, the starter package is a great option if you're looking for a resume overhaul without doing all the guess work. I found the resume consultation surprisingly useful. Would highly recommend it and consider the packages!
