This is a great place to have a haircut or a beard shave…read more The place is great and comfy. The staff is great; they know their job and are always trying to make you feel welcome. If you are taking your baby or toddler they can even frame a certificate of first cut, which is so kind and nice. The reasons I am giving them just 3 stars are: Price is higher than the average places. Waiting time could be hours, and they do not take appointments. Bring a book or something to spend the time. They don't take cards (but they have a ATM, prepare yourself to pay commissions or bring cash). They close earlier than they say due to the amount of clients already waiting.

The wait times are 4+ hours and they don't follow the book that you sign in as whenever a friend walks in they give high fives and handshakes and their in the chair They either need to hire a secretary to clean it up, schedule it and do laundry or set up online booking and actually adhere to it. Either way we won't be back as it's left an awful taste in our mouths!!

I was there this week for a facial, mani and pedi. They take you to the basement where there are…read moreno windows a very very little lighting. The tiny room where the facial is done had only two potlights and was very dark. No lamps were even used, so the cosmetician would have been able to properly see your skin. I asked how she could see in this dark and she said "I'm used to it". I've never had a facial where they didn't have a nicelylit room and also a special lamp where she would bring over to inspect your skin and elminate any blackheads or other. She would not have been able to see these, if she was looking for them. Nail polish - couldn't really tell the true colour of the nail polishes, as the light was again very dim and a yellowish hue in this other room. If you are at all clastophobic, you won't be going for a facial here!
