Mintahoe was so on top of it that they even had multiple gluten and dairy free wedding cakes for the bride to taste. This was especially impressive to us because other gluten and dairy free bakeries wouldn't even accommodate cake tastings. (The cakes were all delicious. We went with chocolate raspberry/ lemon poppyseed with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.) Morgan went above and beyond through every step of the planning process, and she and the Mintahoe staff thought of everything. At our final planning meeting we met Nikita. She had the venue set up and then we went through every step of the day according to the timeline. On the big day, Nikita coordinated with our DJ, Pastor, and Photographers and things could not have gone better! A few things that really stood out to us were: - After the ceremony, the venue had our favorite drinks and small appetizer plates ready for us in the back room. - The late night snack (nacho bar and wings) were also allergen free. - They put up all of our signage and place cards (which saves a lot of stress). Overall, the day was so perfect because of Morgan, Nikita, and Mintahoe's professionalism and planning. As the bride and groom, we were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day!

I have never experienced anything like that. I guess you have to work with minimal space. Maybe have your main event there but not your entire wedding. I don't know why but their DJ can't get enough of himself. The man will not stop talking. Every intro for daddy and daughter dance, etc. had a 5-10 minute discussion from him. People were complaining that he needed to just get straight to the point. When I asked the bar tender about it, he said, Yeah I work a lot of events with this guy and he doesn't shut up. It wasn't just me. lol And the music was lame. I'm sure it was the wedding party's choice. It was more like singalong music and not dancing music. Why even have a dance floor? I'd take the DJ off the vendor list quick.

The brick interior gives such a warm, home-style feel to such a big occasion, and it helped our guests settle in right away. The bar was very easy to coordinate and was quick to accommodate a couple of special requests we made. If there's anything we would have changed in retrospect, it would have been establishing some sort of off-site shuttle option. Luckily, our Sunday afternoon event was on a weekend where the Vikings were out of town and street parking was readily available. Still, this isn't any fault of the venues -- just a logistical thing to consider for your day. We can confidently say we would have our event at Watson Block even if given a do-over.

He knows exactly what he is doing, and he is there every step of the way. He was willing to do whatever it took for us to have an amazing night. He truly cares about his couples and wants them to have a stress free, fantastic night.
