The basil fried chicken is always a hit! I really enjoy the food here. It has a lot more options than the first time i came. I really enjoy the long eggrolls and fried rice. It was delicious. Would love to come back and try something else. The thai tea was good too if i recall correctly! The service was good and the vibe was quite nice and quiet.

This place gets busy! We came early but by the time we left there was a crowd at the entrance waiting to be seated. Be prepared for them to ask you to surrender your table right after you pay. They did it in a nice way but if you are looking for a Minnesota goodbye you're not gonna get it here. Otherwise the service was quick and friendly. The food and presentation were very nice. It reminds me of some of the other Asian restaurants in Minneapolis but in a more suburban setting with better parking. If I lived in the neighborhood I would be more likely to come back.

This place is your Asian fusion headquarters. Easy to find right on hwy 55 in Golden Valley. Inside decor is hip and modern. Great feel and energy. Service was great with friendly staff. Order: Tom Yum shrimp ramen. Delicious broth was both flavorful and bright with a perfect balance of savory and sour. Three huge shrimp swimming in the delicious broth were tender and fresh. A variety of mushrooms added great texture to the dish. The lunch combo included an Asian style slaw that was just ok. Two vegetable dumplings were nice and crunchy but the flavor was just mid. Overall: delicious bowl of ramen with a twist. Order it and enjoy!

I have been to Lat14 several times and enjoyed the food every time. The last 3 times I went to the restaurant was in the private dining area for a group dinner and it's a great place for group dinners. Nice range of food options with good service and atmosphere.

This place is always busy. The huge parking lot is typically full every night. Went around 4pm on a weekday and were able to get a table right away while it was quiet. Great service. The food is amazing. Love the basil wings. The crunch on them is everything. My go to for Thai or SE Asian restaurants is always pad Thai when I'm unsure. I opted for the drunken noodles with beef instead. Great choice. It tasted clean, served gourmet style, delicious and fresh. Enjoyed our table in the sunroom side of the restaurant. Cocktail was good. Overall, it's on the higher price side but worth it.

Went there to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a great experience. The service was superb, our server took care of our table of 14 flawlessly. The food was delicious; I ordered the Pad Thai with fried tofu and it was very flavorful, a friend order the wing and they were to die for, I really enjoyed the dry rub flavor and the taste of fried chicken. The drinks were also good and strong.

Upon arrival the restaurant was absolutely slammed with people. Unfortunately our reservation was at 7pm and we weren't seated until 730. The good news is this was the only negative experience of the night and everything else more than made up for it resulting in a 5/5 experience I had the rambutan rum runner cocktail to start, and my god I felt like I was on a beautiful summer beach vacation. So tropical, fruity and sweet while being well balanced and not being overwhelmingly sweet. Packed a bit of ginger flavor giving it a hint of spice as well. So delish! For an entree I had the Jeow Bong Shrimp Fried Rice. This was hands down the best fried rice I've had in my whole life. So unbelievably flavorful while packing just the right punch. When I make fried rice at home this is what I dream of being able to create. I will come back for this dish alone! I was with friends celebrating an anniversary and they kindly brought us a free dessert. That was the ice cream seen here. A generous free dessert is always appreciated!

What an amazing experience! We went to Lat 14 to celebrate the anniversary of our friends and everything was absolutely perfect! We made a reservation but we did have to wait a bit for our table; it was a Friday and quite busy (understandably so). Even with the wait, our experience was incredible. We started off with the basil wings, which we ate too quickly to get picture of, but they were phenomenal. They were a dry rub that had no need for any sauce and I will be thinking about them for some time. For entrees, we ordered the jeow bong shrimp fried rice, the kai soi chiang mai (a curry served with white rice), and kare kare (beef shortrib). I couldn't say which dish was my favorite because they were all so different. All of them were 5/5 stars, though. All the food was brought out promptly and all dishes were served family style, which we loved. The service was incredible; our server was kind and super knowledgeable. The mood in the restaurant was peaceful, yet lively at the same time, making for a pleasant dining experience with our friends. We will definitely be back, Lat14 definitely will be added into our date-night rotation.

Super easy to make reservations. The parking lot can get pretty full but didn't seem like much of a wait for tables. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and patience. The place is more casual than the sister restaurants. Mango mojito is the Zara Larson Midnight Sun drink. The luq scoop was the highlight. One scoops comes for a complimentary birthday dessert, but it's $10 for 2 scoops. It is great for those who like coconut, crunch, and pineapple. The dishes come in family style and each dish comes out at different times when ready. Theres one spice level for each dish, but they offer a spice rack.

I have come back a handful of times since June because the food and vibes are unmatched. The service is top notch as they are always super quick with getting food and drinks out and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This time I got the green beans and sticky rice as an appetizer, highly recommend dipping the sticky rice into the green bean sauce. It is incredible.

I can't sing the praises of this restaurant enough! The staff was amazing--from handling a large reservation and having the table ready on time to being attentive throughout the entire service and ensuring every order was correct. We were seriously impressed! To start, I had the green beans and sticky rice (perfect for dipping in the sauce), while my friends enjoyed the basil wings--10/10 all around. For my main, I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. The portion was generous, the flavor was spot-on, and even though I was full, I had to take the leftovers home. Highly recommend this spot for great food and exceptional service!

    Tropical spritz

Service is great, nicely decorated and had ample room between tables. They even have a cute little photo spot between the bathrooms. The appetizers were good and the drinks were pretty, I really enjoyed my non-alcoholic tropical spritz (also shout out to our waiter who was able to make our birthday girls request of the non-alcoholic tropical spritz with a shot of alcohol). I think I was just a little bummed about the man entree selections. It was largely noodle dishes with few options that didn't have a lot of noodles and less protein forward options. I enjoyed the green beans but for some reason they were drowning in sauce, like a third of the bowl was sauce. Due to the lighting I would recommend not having orange font for a more dimly lit interior, I was able to see fine but it's hard to make out what things are called. I think maybe their menu changes, if so, I'd like to go back to try a different menu offering, otherwise I'd probably stick with apps.

Wow, from the minute we walked in to when we left, Lat14 was amazing. The interior and vibe was so calming and upscale/clean, the staff were extremely friendly but most importantly the food was outstanding. We started with the crab Rangoon wontons which come with 3 but you can get more added and the Thai basil wings. Both were 12/10, amazing and would order again immediately. For the entree we did the drunken noodles with no meat and again, it was to die for. This was my first time coming but will certainly not be the last!

What's the typical dress here? Would jeans be out of place?

Nope! You might want to dress them up with a cute top and jewelry though.

Do they have gluten free options?

    Yes

Someone who helped open the restaurant and knows the owner assured me it was NOT vegan friendly in the slightest! I would be sure to double check with staff before ordering if you are adverse to fish/seafood ingredients, whether preference or… Read more

Stopped by for a friend's birthday dinner and was excited to check it out. The place is nice and clean. Was greeted by a staff member right away in front and was directed to my friend's table fast. The drink round started...I was recommended the lavender haze and went for it. It was light and fruity which I like. We had ordered crispy calamari, steam mussels, lobster pappardelle, and chilean sea bass to share. Crispy calamari - cornmeal & parmesan crusted, buttermilk, harissa, nam pla, spicy mayo. This was crispy and delicious. The nam pla was like the Vietnamese fish sauce and was tasty. Steamed mussels - white wine, garlic butter were delicious. The bread was soft and the seasoning on the bread was really good. Dipped that in the nam pla sauce which made it a yummy combo too. Lobster pappardelle - brown butter, calabrian chili, basil flavors were delightful. Good chunks of lobsters mixed into the pasta. Chilean Sea Bass - ginger coconut sauce, sweet & sour cucumbers, kaiware. This was super delicious. I like the ginger coconut sauce over the sea bass. I wanted more. I'll be back for sure! The birthday dessert with light was fun to watch/experience! I wanted to give a shout out to our server Chris and all staff members giving us superb service! They always checked in to see if everything was ok or if anything else's was needed and thanked us. That's how you do service! AWESOME service Boketto team! Greatly appreciate it!

We made a reservation on both occasions but didn't have to make it too much in advance so it's always worth checking on. Service is always spectacular with a huge attention to detail and really customized spiels about the menu. The things I've recently tried for drinks have included the spritz del ambratta, the fiore, and a sparkling red from their wine selection. I find myself going back to the Fiore and would recommend that most although their wine is a solid selection as well. In my opinion, the best starter combination is the focaccia plus the lemony beans. The focaccia is solid and it's so good to dip in the mixture that the beans are doused in. The Caesar was decent as well but you can't miss with that other combo. Then, of course, the mains. If you love creamy pasta, do yourself a favor and get the cavatelli. One of my favorite dishes I've had there; I kept almost comparing it to an adult Mac and cheese. Great for sharing if creamy pastas are a bit too rich for your liking. The lasagna is always a close second and you can't go wrong with it. My friend adored the pickle pizza and I thought it was solid too although I would still probably get the cavatelli or lasagna if you are between that and the pizza. Another great shareable. The saffron spaghetti was decent with some really good bite from the noodles and the taste of saffron really coming through, but I would probably get those other dishes before I would order that. On the first occasion, I was there we were celebrating two of my friends' 30th birthdays and H&S did such a good job of celebrating and making them feel special plus they brought out French silk pie cannolis for us plus glasses of sparkling wine, so I would highly recommend this place as a celebratory dinner. I hope it becomes a big mainstay in twin cities/twin cities adjacent cuisine.
