The outside had plenty of parking in front and on the side of the building. The stone of the building has some sculpting in it that makes you pause. Inside there are many rooms for activites and murals. The one that stuck the most to me is that of Michael Jackson. I do hope to find another reason to visit this place very soon.

ECHO seemed more back to basics -- less gimmicks. The big change was that wee sat on the second row. The performers were literally near enough to touch. Wow. The show is great. The acts: jugglers, acrobats, gymnasts, slack line artists, clowns, catapult jumpers, trapeze artists, you name it -- are absolutely wonderful. A sense of wonderment comes over you as if you are a child again. The sound system is terrific and the live musicians and vocalists are impressive. The seats are a bit tight but perfectly fine for the duration of the show. Food is of course expensive as are all of the momentos for purchase. But you're at the most fabulous circus you've ever seen. My only complaint -- and it's out of the control of Cirque -- is exiting the Atlantic Station parking garage. Very slow. The stations to pay the parking fees didn't work so people had to pay one at a time at the actual exit. Miami, ECHO opens there February 22. Don't miss it.

Center Stage has a really cool atmosphere that works especially well for an event like boxing. It feels intimate enough that you're close to everything happening, but still has the professional feel you want for a major media event. From a media perspective, I appreciated being able to experience the venue on back-to-back days and see how well the space transitioned between Media Day and the weigh-ins. The staff was welcoming and professional, and everything felt organized throughout both visits. With fighters, trainers, promoters, photographers, videographers, media, and guests all moving around, organization can make a huge difference, and the venue handled the activity well. I also really liked the character of the theater itself. It doesn't feel like a generic event space--it has its own personality and creates a great backdrop for photos and video, especially during something as energetic as a boxing weigh-in. One tip I would definitely give anyone planning to visit is to check the parking apps before paying at the kiosks. I was able to find parking for $21 for the entire day through an app, while paying directly through the parking kiosk was $14 for only three hours. If you're going to be at Center Stage for several hours, especially for an event, using a parking app can save you quite a bit of money and keep you from having to worry about your time running out. Being there for the Claressa Shields vs. Kaye Scott Media Day and weigh-ins gave me the opportunity to experience Center Stage Theater in a completely different way, and I came away impressed. Overpriced for tumbling training…read more My biggest complaint is that if your child doesn't participate in recitals, parades etc, the coach will leave your child to self instructions. And the main reason we wont let our child participate in recitals / parades, etc., is bc she's not that GOOD! YET!!! But recitals n stuff is a scam to just get more money out of you! But the straw that broke the camel's back is coming right off Thanksgiving they shoved a pack of raffle tickets in my face neatly wrapped with my childs name on it - I asked what if we don't want to participate in that (SCAM) the unprofessional said you have to pay $50. You already know - DECLINE!!!! Next class the coach only let my child practice a few routines. Towards the end the coach left my child standing in line waiting for her turn. The ignored my baby! Finally, my child just left and got her STICKER and belongings and we left. After I witnessed that as I watched from outside through the glass window, I decided to finish the course and w/draw my child. There is no way I will allow them to bully my child ALL bc I declined to sell or pay them $50 for some RAFFLE TICKETS!!! So this Wednesday, they paid my child no attention ! My baby got little practice and was told the training was for kids in the parade (which the coach denied saying it when I confronted her about it). But this week not only did the coach limit my child practice she wudnt even let her get a STICKER - NOPE! THE COACH TOOK THE STICKERS AND STARTED TAPPING MY CHILD ON HER HEAD WITH THEM!!!!! So no I wudnt recommend!

We checked in and got our bracelets, which allowed us access to the entire space. They had a map that outlined the various classes and events going on and the times they were happening. A++ for organization. It was a bt crowded, as any free event will draw a huge crowd. We enjoyed the musical petting zoo and art station at the High Museum. The line was too long for the 2 kids play rooms, so we did not partake, but it looked fun!
