I'm now 71. I had life, home and auto insurance with them until Prudential became Plymouth Rock. Sometime in March I get a call from someone who says he's with Prudential AND THAT i HAVE MONEY COMING TO ME FROM "TRUST FUND"... COULD THIS BE A SCAM??????? I was very uncomfortable giving this person over the phone my personal information, social security number, banking info, routing info, etc., so asked for a letter be sent from company. I received a letter from Prudential a month later, stating I may be due a retirement benefit under the following retirement plan: Trust Fund for Broadcast Ind., (which I belonged to over 50 years ago) GREAT! So I filled out all personal information and mail back to Prudential in Scranton, Pa, after calling Prudential's 1800# to make sure this was really Prudential. When I first spoke to young man at Prudential, I was advised that I would be receiving a check around April 22nd. Today being May 15th, I decided to call and follow up (9:45am)....EVERYTHING WAS DOWNHILL FROM THERE! To get someone live at Prudential is very time consuming, mostly talking and yelling at machines, talking to yourself (I can only hope someone at Prudential listens to our taped phone calls and cares about giving "Good Customer Service") I spoke to 3 people today, (1) Wrong department at Prudential...Cannot remember his name, he was very nice! (2) Brittney, "Would you like your fries supersized?"...I GOT NOWHERE... I asked to speak to supervisor... (3). Danielle (Supervisor?) Really no help... It seems they are missing a page of my personal information....(REALLY?),yet no one called me about this (and I sent them back everything that that sent me to fill out (GREAT)! Danielle, like Brittney has no direct number, but "don't worry, anyone can help you here" (REALLY, LIKE THEY HELPED ME TODAY WITH YOU AND BRITTNEY AND LIKE I CALL YOU LOOKING FOR MY MONEY, NO ONE CALLED ME ABOUT MISSING INFORMATION!!!!!
