The impact deployed both airbags and caused significant damage to her vehicle. Thank God, my daughter walked away with superficial, minor injuries! Chad Doubleday happened to be mowing a yard right across the street from where my daughter's car came to a stop. He was there in seconds, helped her out of the vehicle, called the police, and called me. He took pictures of the vehicles and the accident scene, and he stayed with us the entire time as the police filled out a report and until the vehicles were towed away. He even started answering our questions about "what next". Chad ended up taking the report directly from the police officer and DIA handled everything so that we could focus on getting our daughter home. His calming and supportive presence throughout along with follow-up from his brother, Chris (our agent), and Shawna really gave us all a sense of security. And as a Nationwide policy holder and employee, I can truly say that DIA as a whole exemplifies the "On Your Side" promise in a big way. I do realize that it's unreasonable to expect your insurance agent to be helping you out of your wrecked car seconds after an accident. However, the spontaneous and unplanned customer service from Chad was so compelling that I had to share this story. As an additional evidence of DIA's commitment to their clients, I found out that the reason Chad was mowing that yard was to help out some elderly clients of DIA who need a little help from time to time to care for their home. Josh was able to not only find me quality and reliable insurance from a non "big name" insurance company with over one hundred years in business, but he was able to save me around $75 a month on premium. I have Home and Auto, plus an umbrella policy with him. I've had to contact him a few times after hours and have had a great response. Josh is very laidback, thorough, kind, and patient. He works for his clients and is among the best in the business.

We have had great service from James Lunders State Farm…read more We have our home, auto (2) and an umbrella liability policy with James Lunders for over 10 years and haven't had any issues. I read another review which talked about "rental insurance" after a car accident. As with most insurance companies, that is an add-on and I have had to use it before with State Farm. It isn't very expensive, but it is an optional add-on. The nice thing about James Lunders is that he will sit down with you when you buy a policy then every 6 to 12 months (or however often you want) to go over your coverage and make sure you are protected for what you should have covered. He and his staff explain all the details, options and costs, but in the end let you make the decisions. State Farm has been quick to pay claims and has taken care of all the details of collecting from the other party's insurance company (two car accidents that were both 100% the other person's fault -- no difficulty on my end, they took care of it all and my premiums didn't go up). I would highly recommend both State Farm in general and James Lunders in particular for their service. I believe with all insurance, in the end, it is up to the customer to make sure they know what coverage they have and ensure that they understand what that means (e.g. home flood, car getting flooded, pipe burst, car accident, car rental, towing, uninsured motorist, liability, replacement cost, etc...). Not being in the insurance industry, James and his staff helped me understand and feel confident that I have the correct coverage.
