My husband has probably called Atleast 10 to 15 times during "business hours" and yet no one picks up. We leave a voicemail and they get back to us the following day or later. Our vehicle has been at the shop 8 months now due to delay in parts coming from Germany but they have yet to make anything easy. At the beginning when we took it to the shop we were the ones having to call them to get things going and had to act like the mediator between the auto shop and the insurance as if we were working for the insurance. A total headache. We had to call corporate to get a answer from them about what is going on because they told us it'd be done this week. Corporate even tried to reach out and they had no luck so they connected us with a agent out in Cedar Rapids who was so professional and spoke to the shop to get everything done the same day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN AGENT! We have both auto and homeowners insurance through them and that was a big mistake. If you are looking for a agent who communicates in a timely and efficient manner this is definitely not the place. Will definitely be switching insurance companies because of this experience.

I recently found out my vehicle insurance was raised. When I called Timothy Brehm Insurance to…read morefind out why, I was told it was an across-the-board increase, nothing I had done. I questioned why the consumer did not receive notification of this increase, and if I could get a written statement of the increase and reason behind the across-the-board increase (Allstate posted gross profit of 2.78 billion in 2015). I never received that information. I was in a very minor accident that was clearly the other drivers fault with another Allstate policy holder, no injuries. After 38 days and numerous contacts made with Allstate, initiated by me, the claim is still not settled. Phone calls don't get returned and 38 days into the claim I find out they need to talk to the driver of my vehicle. Would think that should have been addressed within days of the claim. Would NOT recommend.

I read some bad reviews about Allsate before I went with them but I thought I would give them a try…read moreanyway. I set up car and home anout six months ago and had them take the premiums directly from my bank. The homeowners went smoothly but the car, not so much. Aparently the first withdrawal went smoothly and the second one was returned and the band supposedly told them that my account was closed. My account was never closed. I never knew that so I just went on, assuming I had coverage. Several months later, I recieved a letter from a collection agency and I wondered why. I called them. Apparently they sent me notices which I didn't pay attention to because they had access to my account. They were taking money from my account every month for my homeowner's policy. Now I'm on some sort of deadbeat list and what ever car insurance I get next will be very expensive and consequently I will be penilized from now on because they didn't bother to call me. Stay away from these people!!
