Amy and Bri did an awesome job communicating what was to be expected beforehand so there were no surprises day-of. The actual day of the shoot was better than I expected. I was a ball of nerves and Bri made me feel so at ease and comfortable. Bri did a great job making me feel like it was my special day and that she was going to be my boudoir magic genie. The pictures were absolutely stunning and I couldn't wait to show them to my husband! There was a visible difference between the photos from my first set and the photos in my last set where you can see my confidence and sexiness level increase. Do the shoot! I loved every minute. Amy's work is amazing. I have wanted to do a session with her for a long time. I finally had the opportunity a few weeks ago and I was blown away with not only the photos I will be receiving, but the self empowerment, self confidence and strength I've gained. Amy's photos speak for themselves, however what you don't see is the transformation each woman goes through when she walks out of Amy's studio. You will have a sense of confidence and strength and appreciation for yourself and your body that you didn't have when you walked in that day. Amy and her staff are professional and respectful. You honestly end up feeling like you are hanging out with girlfriends. Her studio is beautiful with many options for clothing and sets. Taylor her makeup and hair professional will leave you feeling naturally beautiful and not overdone. I cannot recommend The Intimate Story enough. From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated like we were old friends. The hair and makeup ladies were really nice, and Amy and Brie made me feel relaxed almost instantly. We sat and chatted about what I do and don't like about my body, what colors I don't like, and overall got a feel for what pieces from the client closet I would be using. From there, we got started and before I knew it, I forgot I was in such a vulnerable state that would normally leave me running for something to cover up my body with, and I was actually comfortable in lingerie for the first time. Ever. The session absolutely flew because I was having so much fun! Both Amy and Brie were hyping me up the whole time, and the compliments and encouragement made me feel amazing. The experience itself was incredible! But then I saw the photos, and was floored. I was almost at my heaviest weight when I went in, and I was extremely uncomfortable with my body... but the woman in those pictures was confident and sexy--both things I hadn't seen in myself for years. My experience left me with a new appreciation for my body and a renewed confidence. In my pictures, I see the badass woman I am, and if I ever forget that... all I have to do is look look at the photos and I'm reminded. What a gift to get to see yourself from outside of your body... from someone else's point of view! I can't recommend The Intimate Story enough! read more
