Everyone there is really great but my standouts are Judy, Linda and Alex. Tiny Island life is a huge change for this big city woman. They have been so helpful with the adjustment to this way of life. The Aloha spirit in THIS Ace team has educated and encouraged me through the transition. Today I went in with a plethora of questions for Alex about my generator, gasoline, fuel stabilizers and gas cans . Never once was I made to feel like a dumb haole. He giggled a few times but I can come up with some doozy questions. It was all in a fun natured way. I can really overthink and over complicate the simplest things. Linda works the cashier and no matter how long a line she is always sweet as can be. We always look forward to her and her sweet natured way. Today, I met Judy the manager. She was busy with paperwork but didn't hesitate to put it all down and jump in on my issue. It doesn't surprise me that she's the BOSS. JP's Trees is run by Jesse, who has numerous arborist certifications, is a licensed Contractor, and is fully insured (unlike most of the other tree service companies on Kauai - please do your due diligence as tree service is dangerous if you don't work with the right people). The temperamental driveway here is comprised of large pavers and grass, Jesse has the most and the best equipment on the island to service this level of property. Jesse is hands-on with his business, overseeing his crews and his foremen during the job and he comes by after to make sure everything is perfect. Jesse and his Office Manager Robin are great communicators. The job was done exactly as discussed and the price was right! We can't say enough great things about Isaiah and his team. Our neighbor introduced us and loved…read moreworking with Isaiah - said he was on time and got the jobs done very well. We couldn't agree more! We had bought our new house and the backyard is about half an acre or more and was overgrown with palms, banana trees, lots of fruit trees and insect loving plants. There were spiky plants growing onto the lanai too. It was a BIG job to cut down the overgrowth and expertly prune all of our trees - at least 15 trees were cut/pruned and entire perimeter landscaping was cut back/ removed. The end result looks so clean, airy and enjoyable to look at. He also was very good about keeping enough trees so we had privacy, and just thinning some out. What I really like about Isaiah is that he is a real professional in his field. He knew each of our plants and how to handle the pruning - not just cutting them down but he knew where to clean them up, depending on the tree he was pruning. He educated us on the banana tree and palm pruning and many of the plants we were unfamiliar with and which ones were more prone to mosquitoes. He made recommendations on replacement plants as well as recommendations to remove some plants altogether. He can also buy new plants and re-landscape for you. We trust his expertise given the amazing outcome of our backyard. The island foliage grows quickly and even after 7 months the yard still looks super tidy. We also think his crew of workers are very professional and hard working. They arrived early each day and worked very hard to clean up our gardens - there were at least 4 haul-outs of compost from the project. I felt very comfortable with them at our house - just really good quality people. If you are trying to find a knowledgable arborist that is results driven and equally pleasant to work with, look no further! He is also super responsive. We called him and that very same day he was ready to do work for us. That is incredible! We will definitely be using him for all our upkeep projects going forward.

Gave us a price of $1500.00 Told us they were using a bucket truck to trim our avocado tree because…read moreit was hanging over wire. I have some orchids attached to the tree and told them to be careful he assured me he would. Well no bucket truck was used, cut right through the roots of my orchids, oh and they damaged a board on my garage roof. Split right in half after a trunk fell on it then they just fixed it back together with some rope. Very disappointing the tree looks butchered in places. Not happy with the job they did at all. Isaiah should show more pride in his company and give his customers what they pay for especially since money is so tight for everyone right now. Sorry I don't like to give bad reviews but I really am not happy. On the good side they did a wonderful job cleaning up all the debris.
