Unfortunately, she has a fair amount of pretty serious health issues, has suffered from anxiety in large social settings with peers, and had a lot of trepidation about starting Pre-K. I had heard plenty of good things about a lot of local preschools, and we did our research. But the second we toured Village, we knew this was the best place for her. These teachers went out of their way, even way before school started, to make her feel comfortable, safe, and at home. They love and nurture her as if she was their own child, and she has really blossomed under their care. She trusts her teachers completely (a huge deal for her) and passionately LOVES school. It has been the completely perfect first school experience for her. Their emphasis on kindness and character-building create a classroom of kids who really support and enjoy each other, and their projects and activities are always so beautifully age appropriate and imaginative. The small class sizes allow for plenty of individualized instruction and addressing of multiple learning styles. They mix traditional approaches such as phonics and penmanship with new-world educational methods like STEM integration and mind-body techniques. My daughter has especially loved the geographical and cultural studies undertaken by the staff (with incredible creativity) and all of the opportunities for community outreach. She starts kindergarten in September, and thanks to this ideal experience at Village, she feels positive and confident. We are so lucky to have this treasure in our community. I get really teary thinking about it. This has been such a special year for my child and for us as her parents, all thanks to this awesome school and the amazing women who run it. I truly believe VNS is exactly what Pre-K should be.

That peace of mind as a parent is truly priceless as I work all day long. The staff are caring, warm, and inclusive to all children. My son looks forward to seeing his teachers each day in his class and all of his friends. He is happy to go, comes home smiling, and has formed strong bonds with both staff and friends. We appreciate all of the updates we receive and enjoy seeing daily pictures of what he did throughout the day.

From the very beginning, the staff at Prime Time made that transition so much easier for me. They showed such genuine kindness and patience with both me and my baby. As a new mom, I had a lot of worries--especially when she was having trouble eating at first. Instead of brushing off my concerns, they were incredibly attentive and reassuring. They kept a close eye on her, communicated with me throughout the day, and worked with me to make sure she was comfortable and getting what she needed. Their level of care and understanding meant the world to me during a time when I was already feeling emotional about being away from her. Knowing that she was with people who were nurturing, patient, and truly cared about her well-being gave me so much peace of mind while I was at work. They created a warm, supportive environment not just for the babies, but for the parents too. I'm so grateful for the love and attention they gave my daughter during such an important stage of her life. Any parent would be lucky to have their child in the care of such compassionate and dedicated caregivers. Thank you Eva, Sheyla, Brytanii, and everyone at Prime Time!! We will miss you guys!

Our daughter has been at Pattycake Playhouse for about two years now and I will be forever grateful for the switch. From the day we visited the facility, to her very first day, we all felt the constant encouragement, support and nurturing hand that a child should feel when they are away from their home and family. The staff at Pattycake has always shown great professionalism. Our daughter has had the opportunity to have great teachers who truly work hard with showing these kids many different skills and keeping them active on a day to day basis. Some teachers have gone but thankfully because of the professionalism, the trade-off worked well. (That was a concern for us because of a previous experience at a different facility). The other important factor in which we enjoy is the updates we receive about our daughter, the pictures and the day to day activities we get to see with the use of the app. This app also allows for immediate messaging which allows for quick communication between us and the teachers which for first timers gives a sense of piece of mind. Pattycake also makes family a big part of their facility with many activities for you as a parent to be involved in. From parties, holiday celebrations, conferences, mystery reader and more. These are important as it allows you to be a part of your child's school community and get valuable information about your child's development. All the teachers and staff at Pattycake do great work for these tiny humans, so thank you for everything you do and for all you do for our "little peanut". Anytime anyone needs a recommendation we immediately tell them about our experience with Pattycake Playhouse on route 32 and tell them to check them out. So keep on doing what you do! Thank you for all you do, The Muller Family

That's how we've always been treated, and it's how we'll always think of the incredible group of people here. The care and attention both of our children have received has been nothing short of exemplary. They've truly thrived at Little Pals, and we can already see how the foundation this school provided has played a big role in their success beyond preschool. It's a big thing to send your firstborn off to school. Harder still when that happens at the tail end of a pandemic like it did for us. Is this the right school academically? Will my child adapt socially? Will they thrive? Little Pals checked all the boxes and then some. They made our children feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for, while also setting high academic standards. And they did an outstanding job with us parents too! Calming our nerves (especially this parent), and making everything feel right immediately. We've never doubted our choice for an instant. Our children leave Little Pals with a solid academic foundation: recognizing and writing letters and numbers, early sight words, counting to 100, and reading beginner books with confidence. Their handwriting improved tremendously; they developed strong problem solving skills and a genuine love of learning. They still talk about songs, lessons, and moments from class. It's incredible to see how far ahead they've been - both academically and socially - compared to where I remember being at that age. Communication is excellent. In addition to parent/teacher conferences and detailed reports, the teachers were always available to chat. I never felt rushed, and I can be quite talkative! There are field trips, an open house, Christmas concerts, and family night, all of which made us feel connected to the school and involved in our children's early education. There are always activities and plenty of pictures. Our kids made friends - and we made friends too! We've experienced just about every aspect of Little Pals, from the toddler room to aftercare for our first grader. Our kids attended summer camp here, and even brought their cousins along! That's how much we trust and value this place. I truly cannot say enough good things about this school. Little Pals has given our children not only a loving and nurturing environment, but a true head start in life--academically, emotionally, and socially. Thank you Little Pals, for everything!

My otolaryngologist recommended Hudson Valley Speech & Swallowing, and thankfully they quickly scheduled my consultation. I met McKenzee, an outstanding voice therapist and human being. She assessed my needs and provided me with numerous resources for practice and instruction. After weeks of effort, it became clear that I would need surgery although I had made great progress. McKenzee encouraged, educated and inspired me throughout one of the most difficult times in my life. She approached each of our sessions with enthusiasm and great preparation. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together, even though many times I was frustrated by my own physical limitations; and left each session with practical strategies as well as an increased motivation to improve. I have always looked forward to my voice sessions. Hudson Valley Speech & Swallowing is a very happy place. The office staff is cheerful and extremely accommodating. They work hard to explain insurance issues and always go out of their way to help with scheduling. I have witnessed several other voice therapists greeting their clients with the same warmth and enthusiasm that I receive with each visit. The staff genuinely cares for their clients and are very happy in their work. From experience I know that choosing a voice therapist can be a scary undertaking; your voice is part of your identity. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Hudson Valley Speech & Swallowing. I feel blessed to have found a voice therapist and a practice that is caring, encouraging and knowledgable.
