We were greeted immediately when we walked in by the amazing woman working in the store that day (this past Monday, January 25th). But..we were literally speechless upon entering the store because it was so beautiful, we almost couldn't respond to her. The clothing, accessories, bath soaps and exquisite bath salts, everything is laid out so exquisitely. You can look through racks easily, try on scents as needed, (the Kai perfume...perfection), and so much space to walk around and browse, without feeling crowded. Plus...the two fitting rooms are so pretty and sooo spacious, you can comfortably try on clothes without feeling like half your body is hanging outside the curtain (an issue in some boutique shops). I wish I lived much closer...but...thankfully I can shop Bella Funk online. But if you are anywhere close to Littleton, this is a MUST VISIT!!! And they are about 5 minutes off Route 93. The sales associate advised that "most of this section is marked down, I just didn't..like, mark them." When I asked at what point you find out how much an item costs she responded I would learn at the check out and to just "shop like I normally would." Here's the thing, when I shop 'normally' I know what I am paying for an item. I get that if you're shopping in a whale belt store in a preppy town you should expect to pay too much for a tissue of a tank top. What you don't expect is the sales woman to act like you're Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman having a nice spree on Richard Gere's dime. The prices, the "Boys Lie" toxic feminism merch and the attitude of the sales women is all that is wrong with society wrapped up in a tidy little pink rhinestone studded bow.

Got it home and noticed in the brighter light that it had very significant sun stains all the way across the neck and down the arm. Tried to bring it back within the two weeks stated on the receipt and was turned down. Awful customer service -- an item in this damaged condition never should have made it out of the store. And certainly should have been accepted back.

The mall is not completely desolate, as they are redoing the tiles on the floor, and there are still some shops open for business. However, most of the places are available for lease. Each time I return to the mall, most of the shops I remember from previous visits are no longer there. I must give Powerhouse Mall credit for hosting local fairs, having a hair salon, gym, random clothing boutiques, and an L.L. Bean store and outdoor gear store. They are still trying to maintain the nostalgic 2000s mall culture. Also they have beautiful decorations for Christmas. I really hope Powerhouse Mall survives and finds its way back to thriving like I'm sure it did not that long ago.

They can engrave it and it makes a perfect Father's Day gift, they say. OK. I order. Then I get email-we can't get the engraving done and ship in time for Father's Day. OK, says I, forget the engraving and just ship. No word. Then, the Wednesday AFTER Father's Day, I get an email that just says "we don't carry money clips in stock any more. Do you want us to order this or cancel the order." This raised some questions. Like, uhhh, WHY THE HELL DID YOU ADVERTISE THIS ITEM AS A FATHER'S DAY GIFT, and HOW THE HELL DO YOU CLOWNS STAY IN BUSINESS and uh WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU MENTION THIS AROUND, OH, MAYBE BEFORE FATHER'S DAY WHEN I COULD HAVE ORDERED FROM AN ACTUAL COMPETENT BUSINESS? But then if they can't fill an order for an item that they advertised, by a holiday for which they advertised this product, then I doubt that the could satisfactorily answer such existential questions. Whenever I go to Revolution, I feel good knowing that I'm supporting a cool local community store that gives back to the community. Pssst, don't be surprised if you're offered a latte to sip while you shop. There are toys for kids to play with too while you shop. This is a true gem of a store and White River Junction and the Upper Valley is so much the better for it.

Liebling is my favorite clothing shop in Burlington. I don't have many pieces from the shop…read morebecause the clothing isn't exactly Vermont-esque and it can be expensive. That being said, if I were still living in a city, I would dress from head to toe in Liebling-style garb. Vermonter Kara Alnasrawi opened Liebling a few years ago. Kara is an ex investment banker who met her husband in Germany (thus the name of the shop). She saw a gap in women's fashion offerings in Burlington and decided to open a clothing shop with items she would wear. I'm so glad she did, because I share her taste in fashion. The brands Liebling carries have clean, simple lines, are made of high-end materials and indeed offer "casual luxury" like it states on the store's website. Sweaters are cashmere, denim is Japanese, shirts are made of silk or fine brushed cotton. The cut of the clothing is flattering but understated. I'm a big fan. Still, in a state where 90% of the inhabitants shop at TJ Maxx and similar bargain stores, I wonder how this shop stays afloat. Regardless, I'm so glad it's here to remind me of other places and lifestyles. Designers include Helmut Lang, Rag & Bone, ALC, Raquel Allegra, Mother Denim, NSF, Goldsign, Inhabit, etc. And the store is now carrying Isabel Borland Jewelry. I went to college with Isabel and I love her aesthetic!!!! I'm so pleased Liebling is carrying her. Her jewelry complements the clothing perfectly. The few other women's shops in town that compare to Lieblling are Monelle (Nantucket-style clothing, lots of whites and navies, stripes, nautical cuts, cotton, linens, and some fancy dresses. Casual elegance); Whim (a bit more trendy, less classic than Monelle, less luxurious than Liebling. More in lines with Ecco); Ecco (trendy mid-range brands) and Jess Boutique (hard to describe, more flowy and mature with prints, not my bag but a lot of people love this shop). The only men's shop that is comparable in the Burlington area is Michael Kehoe. Burlington isn't exactly the fashion capital of the northeast. ;)

The new item sections were clearly marked but she refused to honor discounts on any other clothes unless their tags had been marked with red.
