I decided to start back with my chiropractic care. I was a regular as an active professional athlete. Over the years i decided it was something i could cut back on. I started a very physical job this year. While i am not injured i could feel things jamming up on me. I met with Dr Gibson and he definitely recommend a plan to get me and my body back on the right track. Last month i decided to take a break but have still been very active. As of late with stress i have started to have migraines. I met with B i the Dr Alvarez and Andrews. Both very different techniques but both every effective. Today was an eye opening experience. I had been having stiffness and aching in my left bicep to elbow. I finally remember to bring it to the attention of Dr Andrews. Not only did he tell me it was not what i thought it was but i left pain free! I highly recommend this location. Very rarely have i found several Dr's that actively listen to my concerns but also get to the root of the problem. Pito and the other receptionist are absolutely amazing. My memory is failing with her name but she is incredible as she is the one who me up for my membership. I highly recommend anyone to joint this Joint Chiropractic family. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I walked in today and within the first interaction they're already selling you on the wellness plan. As a physician, anybody selling you a service before they've actually consulted you is criminal. Second the hack Dr. Gibson spent a total of 2 minutes 14 seconds on assessing and adjusting me, I clocked it bc I remember how big of a joke the Joint is. This was a new record, tried to adjust my hip once and said oh you're too inflamed to adjust. No other adjustments, guys - THIS IS NOT STANDARD OF CARE. Regardless how big of a donkey clown your provider is and tries to tell you otherwise. For the naive people here, let's establish facts: Chiropractic care is already junk science. But at least reputable and moral DC's would tried some soft tissue manipulation, active stretching before remotely trying to adjust. Not this pony tailed wannabe David Carradine; the entire time he kept mansplaning why I needed a wellness plan and brought it up 7 times after I said no. Bottomline is this place is already corrupt and worthless, I went bc it's a holiday and my normal Chiro is out of town. You're better off waiting, going to a sauna or massage. Trust me, anything is better than walking out in pain and feeling like you just left a prostitution ring. Your corporate backing should be ashamed. First off, I walked in at my appointment time and as soon as I greeted the front desk she said the Dr. is about to go on lunch. The Dr. standing next to her looks at me and walks out the building. I said I have a 3pm appointment. Is it only one Dr?She said yes. She looked me up in the computer and asked for my I.D. I handed her my passport. She left for about 5 mins came back and said I can't use my passport I need a drivers license. Which is completely absurd! I can fly to different countries but I can't see a freakin Chiropractor??? Update: I spoke to the Owner, Joe. He apologized for my bad experience and will address the issues. Despite the unprofessional behavior by a Chiropractor, this place did help alleviate my back. My constructive criticism is to have consistency for Chiropractors and their patients. I now understand this is franchise and Chiropractors float around to clinics. I have been to several chiropractors before whenever I get a stiff neck from sleeping in the wrong position. I had recently relocated to this area and stoped by to help resolve the issue. The Chiropractor used a different technique to help crack my neck which I had never had before from any of my other chiropractors. Update: Dr. Bowe left and they didn't tell us. The new guy's (Dr. Moreau) adjustment doesn't seem as effective to me he checks leg length but never brings you legs up to check if it falls shorter or stays long. Then he doesn't touch your spine before adjusting it. I don't feel like my headache is reprieved when I leave where it used to be instantaneous relief. If anyone knows where Bowe went, please share. --------- Very happy. Dr Bowe is friendly and the lady at the front desk was very personable. Both did a great job of being very clear (in regards to prices and policy) about what the signing up entailed. It's not a full scale clinic, it's only physical manipulation, but I'm excited to see how this membership goes as I definitely believe in the benefits of chiropractic. After having the girls I've been in so much pain. Was thinking it was something very bad with my health. Come to find out that it all due to I'm out of line. My hips are all over the place. My medical massage therapists Keicha Miskell with KM Massage Therapy explained to me about me been out of line and was causing all the pain. She explain she won't treat me any more until I get adjusted. I've always been scared of getting adjusted, so finally going was the Di st step. Dr.Moreau did a great job at putting me at easy before adjusting me. He put my hips back in place and let me know I will have to get adjusted twice a week for several weeks. After aggravating a prior injury, I needed to see a chiropractor as soon as possible. Very easy and convenient access and the doctor did a great job taking his time and assessing how I needed to be treated specifically as opposed to just giving a generic adjustment. This place used to be great and I've been a patient for four years. Dr. Hoates was awesome - while he lasted - otherwise a revolving door of chiropractors of various skill level. What really gets me is their mobile check in process. It is useless. Totally useless. It says you are in the queue when you check in from home, but in reality you are not. The clock starts ticking when you arrive. What is billed as a 5 min wait (which I time for my travel) then turns into a 20 min wait. There is nothing convenient about this process and reinforces their business model - get as many people signed up on their subscription model as possible and then provide only minimal care. read more

This was my first time trying this location or any Joint location for that matter and it was the BEST experience ever! I was greeted enthusiastically by Mark at the front desk and he definitely made me feel welcomed and at ease. He was super attentive and very informative about the different plans that they offer. Dr. Moreau is absolutely FANTASTIC and he was extremely communicative and empathetic to what I was going through, with my lower pains and made great recommendations based on his diagnoses. I should preface this review by saying I don't suffer from any chronic pain. Actually, I ended up coming in to The Joint, because I'd joined LA Fitness a while back and they gave me a card for a free adjustment. I was more curious than anything about what a chiropractor would do to me than anything else. The Joint is quite different from how most chiros work: no appointment necessary, no insurance plans accepted, just walk in and get adjusted. Bada bing, bada boom. So, I walked in one Friday afternoon and sat down to fill out paperwork before my first adjustment. After I was done with that, I was taken back behind the front desk to where there are 3 separate adjustment benches set up. The chiropractor on duty that afternoon started with an assessment of me to see where my problem areas were. Lucky for me, I was a dancer for 10 years during school, so my spine and posture are pretty good. He did find some spots though that could use his technique: my wrists (I type at a laptop all day for work), my upper back and neck (stress from sitting at a desk) and a few spots in my lower back. In no time, he had me folded into different shapes with my arms crossed and one knee or the other up and then he'd lean into me, we'd hear a pop and he'd lift up again. Or I had my arms crossed and he adjusted his fingers very subtly on my back and suddenly I felt something else pop. Amazing! Finally, we popped my neck both directions, which felt great. When I sat back up after all this and did some minor stretches, I discovered my range of motion and strength in some areas had actually improved from his adjustments. Wow! Afterwards, he gave me a little sheet with specific vertebrae checked off and what they connected to in the body. For instance, one of my neck vertebrae connects to my sinuses and another connected to my shoulders (everything in the body's connected to different vertebrae apparently). At the front desk, the girl was a pretty soft sell since you don't have to set up a follow up appointment, and while I think that weekly adjustments are a little unnecessary for me, I may go back every once in a while for another snap, crackle and pop. read more

I've been to other chiropractors before, and in comparison this is the Panda Express of chiropractors. Sure, it's fast and cheap, but I have to wonder if it's safe and high quality? I'm not sure that I really want "fast and cheap" to be the description of someone manipulating my spine. I found my way to The Joint because they're close to my office, but unfortunately convenience does not trump safety for me. X-rays are a pretty normal way to initiate chiropractic care. Well, x-rays are not part of The Joint's "fast and cheap" system. I'm not a rocket surgeon or anything, but wouldn't you want to have a visual of the bones you're moving around before going bonkers popping and cracking? Also somewhat troubling is the waiver you sign in case of stroke or paralysis resulting from their care... since, you know, they're not looking at your spine on an x-ray before moving it around! read more

I am so thankful to Dr John Thomas for the progress I've made with my back. I call him "my Angel" because when I remembered the pain I was in 2 months ago "it's a miracle". I look forward doing to the office because of the friendliness that you are greeted with when you enter the office you're greeted by name....makes me feel special :-)! I love the joint! I have gone to other Chiropractors who I feel have taken advantage of my insurance. At the Joint they don't mess around with insurance and I use my HSA to pay. It's a no frills place, but it's affordable and I am able to go weekly. I started out going to the peachtree city location, but I no longer work down there.
