I had an awful experience with The Joint Chiropractic. It was incredibly difficult to cancel my membership due to transportation issues, and they refused to process the cancellation over the phone. When I finally requested the e-cancellation form by email, it wasn't even set up properly--no DocuSign, and no clickable signature option in the Adobe file. I hadn't used the facility in over 3 months but was still being charged without realizing it. When I called to ask about the charges, I was told a refund request would be submitted. I called back the next day, and a different staff member claimed there was no record of that conversation. Completely disorganized and unhelpful. Terrible customer service. I have no weekly adjustments and it makes all the difference for me. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the Dr's are fantastic. Went in over a week ago because I was having a little bit of back and neck soreness. I had regularly seen my chiropractor in NY, once a month for over 10 years before moving to FL so figured a visit may help It didnt. The morning after my appt, when I first woke, I couldnt move. My neck and upper back were in so much pain. I know soreness after an appt is normal...this wasnt that, this was PAIN. Worse than what had originally brought me in. Not to mention, I had a bruise on my arm from the Dr..... Sat morning was exactly the same... with heat, ice, pain meds, and muscle relaxers I got through the weekend. I have since requested a refund SEVERAL times, and feel I am now being ignored as I have not received any response since 4 days ago. I have been going to chiropractors on and off my entire life. Before I left MA I had a fantastic doctor who knew my body and made life so easy since I always felt better after I left. Now, having moved to FL in Nov, I was sure it would take months and months to locate another great doctor. I found a Groupon and signed up, made an appointment then showed up on time for my visit. I was annoyed that I had to wait 20 minutes even though I had an appointment. It turns out this is a walk-in clinic and it's first come first served. If someone comes in before you and it's their 1st time visiting, you are probably going to wait. Which I did. Tip: Don't bother with an appointment, just come by and be prepared to hand out a little. It was finally my time to see Dr. James and I didn't know what to expect. I was given a thorough exam, everything he found was explained carefully and patiently, then I had my first adjustment. I felt great like I did before and I was surprised at the competence of this doctor. After going for the last 4 months, I have never felt better. I also have spent some time getting to know Dr. James and he is incredibly knowledgable as a FORTH GENERATION Chiropractor, he knows things that others might never discover or learn. He still is patient and very sensitive to my body's needs. Each adjustment is perfect for me, every time. I am shocked and delighted that a chain of small offices like this would have such a skilled practitioner on staff. I look forward to my visits every week and know that I am in good hands. The primary chiropractor is great! He brushes his hands lightly over you to see where needs an adjustment. Very talented. This location isn't busy, so it's easy to go in and out. This place is perfect for those who live near and are looking for extremely quick adjustments. What would've made my experience better? If the adjustments weren't so quick. I would drive 30 mins and be there for less than two mins. No exaggeration! It also would be more beneficial to receive tips on exercises and stretches to do to relive the pain. For me personally, it felt a little rushed and didn't make sense to drive that far. But honestly, if they spent even a minimum of 7 mins total on adjustments/ massaging and tips for different stretches it would be so worth it! read more

I had purchased a Groupon to try their services. I was given an appointment for 4:30 on November 6, 2019. As I arrived I overheard the receptionist explaining to another customer that she would have to wait a half an hour before she could be seen because they had a new patient who had yet to be seen. So I asked if that meant I was going to have to wait for 2 more people in order to be seen. She said yes because they had a new patient that needed to be seen. Well what was I? I had asked for and was given an appointment. I worked for a chiropractor for 20 years and that is no way to conduct a business. The office also smelled of moisture and mildew. The staff is rude. Upon my first visit I opted in for a discounted 1 month deal The Joint was offering. The receptionist told me that I she was signing me up for 1 month of visits. Then in my second visit she told me that I agreed to pay 2 months and had me sign paperwork which actually was a monthly contract. I reached out to the management about the issue and all I got back was a generic email stating there wasn't anything they could do to help me and that their staff is highly trained to explain things thoroughly. We absolutely love it here! There are two different chiropractors and each do a really great job. On saturdays Craig Satinoff travels up from Miami to work his magic and let me tell you- it works! I am dealing with a host of chronic illnesses and pain issues and he has created a plan just for me to help get me to the next level of healing. Every Saturday we do a little more work, sometimes it's intense and sometimes it feels like nothing at all, but afterwards I always can tell that inflammation in my brain and spinal cord and throughout my body is down. It allows me to think clearer throughout the following week, as I have a very extreme case of brain fog. He is knowledgeable and talented. The M-F doctor is as well! We love him! I do not have enough great things to say and will not stop going, as my health and well-being have improved as a direct result of this investment into myself. It's a solid choice. read more

It can be hit or miss with The Joint. Not all Chiropractors are alike. New to area and Started membership with an amazing Chiropractor who was thorough adjusting from head to toe...gave stretching/ strengthening advice...then left office. Couple different Chiropractors filled spot... adjustments just ok, one actually caused more issues. Chiropractor: "Your muscles are too tight for me to give you an adjustment!" Seriously?! In fact my migraines have increased since this Chiropractor. The other MAJOR issue here, to cancel... they bill you again for another month regardless how much notice you provide. Example: you give notice 25 days prior to next automatic bank withdrawal....they still take another payment the following billing cycle. The "deal" sounds great but your health and wellbeing could be at risk. Hard lesson learned and costly to me both physically and financially. read more

Walk in with back pain, leave with a neck injury and a reoccurring monthly membership charge.... I went to The Joint for the first time with a Groupon because my regular chiropractor was on vacation and I had sciatica pain. I felt some relief so went back a second time. That is when I was told that they are a membership chiropractic office. I hesitantly signed up for a membership, (two month minimum), at $69 per month to get some relief while my chiropractor was out of town. I was injured on my very first visit as a member and didn't go back again. I called multiple times requesting to speak to a manager with no call back. Finally, I went in to the office before the end of the first month and requested that I not be charged for the second month since I was injured and had only gone for one visit as a member and wouldn't be returning. I signed a cancellation agreement there and was assured by an empathetic receptionist that the manager would call me back, and that surely I wouldn't be charged for the upcoming month.... I was charged for that month, and charged again the following! My contractual agreement had expired the previous month, yet here I was being charged yet again. I'm honestly scared to have a neck adjustment again, even by my trusted chiropractor because I think this doctor really injured me badly. When he did the adjustment I immediately felt an electrical shock sensation and knew something had gone wrong. He did an odd movement that none of my past chiropractors had ever done. It's been months and my range of motion is still limited. For the week after my adjustment, I was in so much pain that my failed attempt to sleep had to be with an ice pack on while popping pain killers. So, now I'm not only living with an injury from The Joint, but I'm paying on the first of every month for it too! DO NOT GO HERE. THEY HAVE DECEITFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES. I'm not the first person complaining of injuries or being charged after signing a cancellation agreement. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before going. read more

Mind you I walked in as a very, very strong, very physically fit healthy man. Who prides himself and teaches his daughter on being very participative and proactive in all areas of being healthy.
