I don't know when I've experienced worse customer service. I first walked in to this location a few weeks ago, in pain, looking to get adjusted. The chiro was at the front desk and told me that because their front desk person was out, she couldn't see me because they were too busy. Mind you, no one else was there, and it was 2.5 hours before they closed. I returned yesterday, this time with a Groupon I had purchased specifically because it referenced the Mint Hill location as one where the Groupon could be redeemed. I was informed that they don't take Groupons at this location. I showed them on my phone where it said on the Groupon that I could use it at Mint Hill, but still they refused to work with me, and were kind of rude about it too (this was the front desk person and the chiro). Obviously, I won't be back, but I'm sure this location does not mind, because clearly they don't want my business anyway. read more

Horrible customer service! Do not go here! They sent my crying friend who is a nurse away because she got there at 5:30pm and they close at 7pm. They advertise as walk in and don't take you in. If you call to make an appointment they will not make you one because "ITS A WALK-IN". How do you turn a essential worker away that is in tears from working moving a patient. This is really hard for me to do this review, I have really mixed feelings about the joint chiropractic format for patient treatment. New to the area one month to be exact, my back was killing me , and my neck was hurting , I was definitely in need of some chiropractic intervention. I did a walk in and was thrilled to meet Dr. Tiffany and Taylor, The receptionist. After a very thorough examination by Dr. Tiffany who is very professional, kind and compassionate. I had my initial first adjustment, and felt immediate relief. I purchased a wellness program which entitles you to come back, x amount of times over the next eight weeks, with the goal of getting you in alignment for optimal comfort. I left the office and realized I had not made an appointment. I called today and asked about the appointment. The individual who answered the phone, answered the phone "the joint chiropractic " and I asked who I was speaking to at which time the individual replied " joint chiropractic office " I said who am I speaking with" at which time she replied Ashley, in a tone that sounded tainted with that of someone being inconvenienced. I explained my situation that I didn't have an appointment with Dr. Tiffany, it was at this time that Ashley told me Dr. Tiffany does not work at this location other than Sunday Monday, which was news to me. I explain to Ashley that I wasn't aware that they was going to be random doctors that I just show up for -for an adjustment. Ashley stated to me " well that's how the joint does it. " Ashley's was a little offputting and the fact that I'm just going to show up and a random person pop my neck does not sit well with me. I believe in Establishing relationships with doctors, not being part of an assembly line, and I was not happy with what I found out today. Had I of been explained that was the joint way, I'm not so sure I would've wanted to be part of the joint way. Ashley was kind enough with her compassionate tone ( not) to tell me "well you can drive over to the other location". No Ashley, that's not what I want to do is drive around the county to different chiropractic locations. I sought treatment at this location and thought I was going to have treatment at this location by one doctor, to me that's not an unrealistic expectation. I'm just not really sure what I want to do, I'm not OK with the way this was handled. So I've been coming here for a while now and I have to say I am rather impressed. For a place that doesn't take insurance I thought it would be crazy expensive but it's not. I do a monthly plan and it is very inexpensive but I feel like it has great value. I originally started coming just because I do a lot of sitting at work and my back hurts from time to time but ever since I've been coming here it has been great. I see Sean who I have really built a good friendship with and I see him more than anyone else but there are several other people there I have seen that do really good work. Everyone has their own style and methods for your adjustments and although at first I was skeptical about going when Sean isn't there, but every time I come out feeling amazing regardless of who I see. Worried that I really damaged my back and Dr. Pedro at the Mint Hill, NC office was so thorough and careful. Started with really slow adjustments in other spots and then worked until my problem area loosened up and made small adjustments. I can move 1 million times better than before I walked in. After some instruction to help loosen things farther I am to go again to finish up. Several doctors have been unable to adjust the section of my back and I was very thankful for his attentiveness and care. read more

The Joint was recommended to me by my sister in Durham/Chapel Hill area. I've had experience with Chiropractors for many years in Philadelphia which was very expensive. So now for 69.00 I go to the Joint 1x week, started in Melbourne, Florida which was great. Moved to Charlotte and went to two different offices, both are great, each practitioner has a different style and I do have my favorites. The Steel Creek and Mint Hill office staff are awesome. I then moved on the the Durham area, did I mention Im a travel nurse with back issues. Again awesome staff in South Durham and Chapel Hill. The bottom line is you have to go at different times and get to know the practitioners. Then go with who you like. extra visits are like 10.00. You can't beat that. Have I been dissatisfied with the skills of a practitioner? yes. But over all the service is great. read more

I've been to this location 3 time (It's where I signed on) and everyone has been nice, facility is spotless and I am very comfortable when I go. Service is prompt. Don't waste your time. If you are used to getting adjusted this is not the place for you. You will not be happy when you leave. If you've never been to a chiropractor you won't know any better so you probably wouldn't have a problem. I went for an adjustment and literally had to ask her to adjust my back a certain way I left feeling the exact same way Taft I did when I got there. I've never been to a chiropractor in 25 years and my back has not popped. Not once, until today. I won't be back. read more

I mean they have a great deal, great price got me curious, the doctor made sure to ask all the question, jock down any info they need from me. I really didnt have any pain at all but was curious, so I went from my gf referral, she loves the place, she goes once a week , which now I will be just for the hell of it, maybe it will make me feel better in the long run..they pop u in front of pple, which I dont mind at all. Great Service I have a regular chiropractor in my home town. I needed to seek care while on vacation. I spotted this place and their sign for initial visit for $29. I was skeptical. It's a drop-in clinic. The receptionist Ausha was so friendly and informative. Fantastic customer service The visit was quick and the doctor explained everything as she adjusted me. This place is constantly closed when it's supposed to be open. It used to be a franchise and was great but since cooperate took over they just are rarely open when supposed to be. No regular doctors. I would not but the package deal. You do not get what you pay for. They close from 2-2:45 for lunch everyday when they didn't used to. When I first came to them I had done something to my back to where I could not even stand up straight. I had heard about chiropractors before both good and bad experiences so was reluctant to come. Boy am I glad I did they asked me questions got to know where and how much I hurt and when I was done with my first session I was standing and walking normal again after 3 days of pain and being hunched over it was nice. I have a membership to the joint and it's well worth the money and the cheapest I have found. I love this location and I'm sure they are all great this is the only one I will visit. They are warm and disarming. The receptionist was helpful, charming, and helped me thru the paperwork which the doctor actually looked at and remembered the details of when he was treating me. They made me feel like I was important, and not just the next meat machine to be worked on. He worked quickly and efficiently, but not rushing. What a wonderful place. I love this place! I have a chiropractor that I have seen for years and he does a good job. But being able to drop in when I need it, and getting a super adjustment is the best. I love the evening and Saturday hours, so helpful to me and my schedule. I have gotten the best adjustments from Dr C and Dr Marci. I am in love. This should be NO stars. Today 1/3/19 I was rear ended at a low speed such that my vehicle doesn't need repair. I've been told by every chiropractor I've ever seen to get in as soon as you can after an accident. So, I went to The Joint in Mint Hill. I paid and took a table. In the spirit of honesty, I told them I was there because of a minor accident. I was told I could never again receive services at The Joint until I got X-rays. I can not spend 100s to go get unnecessary X-Rays. I was turned away and it was made clear don't come back. I felt embarrassed and terrible. If they'll do it to me, they'll do it to you. I strongly suggest - STAY AWAY. Your experience will be great until they don't like you anymore. I never bought packages so my strong feelings are this may be the underlying issue. I loved this place prior to this experience. After this experience, I'll never go back because I can't and if I could, I wouldn't. read more

I've suffered first from sciatica then two years with Plantar Fascitis all on the left side of my body. After going to several doctors, spine specialists and a foot doctor who gave me a cortisone shot in the foot, the pain never really ceased. A friend suggested that I had nothing to lose by going to a chiropractor. At first I was skeptical but thought it would be worth a try. After the first few visits I began to feel less pain. After six visits there are some days when I am pain free. Wow. It's amazing. I don't know exactly how it works or why but a specialist in PT suggested my body was very out of alignment and now I know I was. The chiropractors at The Joint are all very good but especially Dr. Hickman who seemed to grasp my specific issue and ailments and knew exactly how to help align my spine and help me to become more pain free. I rarely ever write reviews but felt compelled to write this one after getting so much relief from pain. Thank you! read more
