I wanted to take a minute to compliment the Charlotte Chiropractic center on Morehead St. After a half lifetime of putting my body through rigorous sports, military, police and just general foolery, I had some "wear and tear." After a recent car crash where a reckless driver smashed into me while I was stopped at a stop sign, I decided I needed to go get looked at. The two chiropractors I met here were fantastic. (One has moved closer to his home, so he will be missed). They started with X-rays, and then reviewed them with me. We made a treatment plan and within the first month, my headaches from the crash subsided, and I could tell my misaligned hips were actually going back to a more correct place. I will see my new X-rays next visit, but the difference is apparent in my walking, running and overall mobility. I like how the docs explain things to me and tell me what they are about to do, so I am not nervous. I had been fearful of the neck adjustments as they seem like your head may fall off...(kidding, sort of) until you go through it with careful docs who make you feel comfortable. Also, the office is clean, the staff up front are just a lovely group of young ladies. They have been very accommodating to me with my work schedule. I also scheduled a medical massage with a fantastic woman who put me into a relaxing state and has improved how I feel overall. The rates are far more reasonable than your family/ general medical doctors. I believe this can be a great part of anyone's overall health and wellness plan. Transferred to this location for convenience a few weeks ago and have been very happy. I had been elsewhere previously and the level of thoroughness in the preliminary exam, explanation of xrays and treatment was unmatched. I have had lower back pain for as long as I can remember, and after just a few visits, I am feeling almost no pain. I didn't think that I would have such great results (I am a skeptic about everything), but have been very pleasantly surprised. He was able to pinpoint my areas of discomfort based on xrays and physical examination without me even having to tell him. I also got lots of stretches and at home care tips that have been helpful to practice in between visits. If I recall correctly.. initial exam with xrays is $119, treatment adjustments are $40 and then maintenance adjustments are $30. These are the cash prices if you do not go thru insurance. They offer a payment plan for treatment sessions if needed. read more

Super, super, SUPER happy with this place. I went in with a very damaged SI joint and within a few days of treatment was significantly improved. That in itself is worth the 5 stars but I really appreciate their business model and vibe. They have flexible hours and scheduling (I was able to walk in at 9 am on a Monday morning with only 1-hour's notice). They have a very casual, fluid atmosphere which is fine by me. I will say, sometimes you cross paths with other patients or you are in the same room as them for a moment. This doesn't bother me at all, as it allows for the flexible scheduling, but some might be caught off guard by that. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. Dr. Waltz is amazing. He is open and honest about what's going on, and how to treat it. And in my experience, he clearly knew what's what. I would mention to him "Hey, I noticed..." and he would immediately explain what was happening, why it was happening, and what it meant. If you are having issues or looking for a maintenance chiro, you really should stop in. I'm so glad I gave them a try! read more

Dr. Kyle Waltz, has been a salvation-healing in my life. For many years I have been suffering from very strong migraines and headaches regularly. I went to several specialists, including neurologists, until I came to think that it was my vision. The first consultation Dr. Kyle told me something I will never forget: people leave the chiropractor as a last resort, and should be the first. He performed x-rays. He studied my case, he gave me a lot of advice. He did a personalized follow-up that nobody ever did. Adjustments. After some sessions, my headaches and migraines disappeared. All the staff is very friendly. I have no words to thank him so much. I recommend him totally. He is an excellent professional. Now I go from time to time for maintenance and this week I will go for the therapeutic massages. Those who suffer stress, headaches, have pain in shoulders, etc ... do not miss visiting. I first went to a chiropractor back in 2001. Since then I've been to about six different chiropractors. I've found good ones and bad ones during that time, but Dr. Kyle Waltz is the best one I've found yet. My hips and lower back have never felt better. Visiting Kyle for an adjustment is now a highlight for my week. The opening exam is thorough and you can tell that he's thoughtful in diagnosing the real issue. Subsequent visits have been very quick and effective. It's very convenient that you don't need an appointment to stop in for an adjustment. Since adjustments don't take long, you're in and out fairly quickly. Quick side note, I've always been nervous to have chiropractors adjust my neck, going so far as to ask a couple of them not to adjust it. Dr. Waltz did not try to shove any holistic or alternative medicine down our throats. He was kind and personable but not invasively so. The best part is that I went from feeling injured to feeling the normal amount of soreness after an adjustment. My condition vastly improved in just...one...visit. I just moved to Charlotte and I had to find a Chiropractor here to start treatment after getting rear ended. Dr. Waltz is absolutely incredible! I had a chiropractor back at home that was good but my treatment here has been a night and day difference. I've always struggled with migraines and I was in a lot of pain after my wreck and since starting treatment with Dr. Waltz I haven't had a single migraine and he was able to significantly improve my stiffness and shooting nerve pain in only a few adjustments. He is truly talented and a genuine, straight-forward doctor. He really cares about his patients and I couldn't be more pleased with the treatment I have received with Charlotte Chiropractic Center.
