If i could leave zero stars on this place, i would. There should honestly be a South Park episode dedicated to this joke of a so called business. My Daughter and i both had appointments today and instead of attempting to adjust or help either one of us they tried to brainwash us into purchasing 9 consecutive appointments and then told us they could not help us after we explained we had both been directed to chiropractic care by a physician. My Daughter was in tears and i felt like i was in the twilight zone. What a disappointment and a joke. Do not waste your time! $29.00 special is a total SCAM! I was never even physically assessed. Clinically this office was great, however, you have to cancel your membership in person at the location you signed up.... quite absurd. I work 12-hour shifts and do not get off until after closing time. They refuse to send the form to be filled and make sure you know corporate does not handle memberships. Make sure you are not travelling/moving when you sign up. Unfortunate that this holds your money hostage until you can be in person. Awful business. read more

POOLER Location: I gave three stars because Dr. Dave is amazing and truly cares and is very professional. I have also been seen by the other doctors on rotation in pooler and have never really had an issue (i come on a walk-in basis as determined by my chronic pain). However, at an a walk in session i was placed with Dr. Fisher. I had been adjusted by him before and drudged through his constant comments about how i am one of the worst kind of patients he works with who won't buy a membership, who waits until I'm in a bit of pain and then comes in to be adjusted... just constant badgering and berating about how I handle MY OWN pain. So when i was placed with him i rolled my eyes and braced for another irritating encounter. However, this time was different and NOT in a good way. I told him i must have slept wrong because i woke up with my neck and back out of sorts to which he replied with a smirk on his face: "good dream?" I was dumbfounded at the suggestive remark and instantly felt very uncomfortable so when he referred to me as "a very bad patient" a few minutes later I left and will never be be adjusted by him again I don't care HOW much pain i am in. read more

These places used to be great, but there is such a huge turnover that you never know who is working there anymore! It is hit and miss if you get a good doctor, and the front desk staff are an even bigger "?" on professionalism!!! It's unreal how they manage to keep return business, so they must rely heavily on ignorant first comers. Sometimes I got a great adjustment and a lot of times I didn't! Hands down the worst two adjustments I have ever had. The drs at this location clearly do not care. First was a month ago and a lady asked what my problem areas are and then did not address them at all and rushed the visit so fast my wife walked into the restroom when I started and was walking out and I was done. I decided to try it Again Today the gentleman who adjusted me today put zero effort into the adjustment. He popped my neck that was it the back adjustment was so bad. This location has discrepancies in its hours. Last month I came for an adjustment but was told that no one was working the front desk and he wouldn't be able to check me in! Really??? Clearly he's trained to operate the desk and check me in but obviously didn't want to. Today, I arrive at 6:48 pm and was told that the computers were already shut down so he wouldn't be able to check me in! Hilarious!! This chiropractor has to be the laziest, worst liar, in the profession. The company needs to assess this location and replace the lazy chiropractor. I was having horrible left neck shoulder and arm pain, went in and was seen in about 5-10 minutes. The staff was so welcoming and helped find my history from another location that was shut down temporarily. Lindsey was my chiropractor and she was AMAZING! I mentioned what was wrong and that I was losing sleep and how my arm was starting to go numb and was swollen. She was very informative and attentive to the locations I pointed out. She took her time and after she even recommended a plan for me when I asked what I should do. After my 1st visit I was able to move my neck more than usual. The next morning I came in again, by that even be swelling and numbness was gone, but the pain was still there. She suggested I wait about 4 days to let my body relax, she also suggested movements that would help stretch out the specific areas. Today I came in and she was very helpful but unfortunately I was still in pain. She suggested me to go get it further looked at and was very informative. My pain was not something minor so it's not anything she could've done. She was GREAT! Once I heal I will definitely be making the trip to go see her more often for my repetitive treatments! 10/10 friendly welcoming staff! I decided to try this place due due to their location and hours even though they didn't deal with my insurance. I completed the service and the front desk person asked if I would be interested in paying for 6 sessions in advance. I did so because I knew I would use them again at some point. Later I got a call from them to buy more services and learned my sessions that I paid for would expire in December. Had I known that, I never would have purchased them because am gone or very busy during this time of the year. I explained that to them and all they said was to hurry up and use them. I will never go to this place again. I have good insurance and paid for this because I thought it would be better for me but they are not. read more

Been going there for a couple years but the turnover of good chiropractors is ridiculous and no way to run a business which I can longer pay for. As soon as I get comfortable with one that helps me they leave and I end up with the only one who doesn't leave who hurts me every time so I will no longer let him lay hands on me. Do not sign a contract!!! They will not allow you to cancel your membership over the phone or by going to another location. You have to go to the location that you signed up at to cancel. I tried to cancel my membership by phone and was told I had to come to the shop (they said the reason for that was to make sure it was really me cancelling ). I went to the office and cancelled in person. Thankfully, I requested a copy of the cancellation, because the following month there was another charge. I think there needs to be a change in marketing. Twice in 24 hours, I get told to come back later. I walked in at 12:58, the person at the front desk was typing so I waited until she was done. She looks up at me and asks if I was checking in. I stayed that I am a new client. At 1:01 pm she informs me that they do not take any new patients after 1:00 pm and that I would have to come back at 2:45 pm. I have stuff to do so I leave. I return the next day around 11:30 am. I wait my turn and say that I am a new client. She looks around and tells me that there too many people ahead of me and my best bet is to come back later in the afternoon. There is a revolving door of substandard doctors at this location and the location on Abercorn closed! Lots of excuses but ownership of the Savannah Joint is the worst! I agree, horrible customer service! They try to trick you in to signing a 6 month contract... DONT DO IT! I have been there for 4 months now and my neck and back pain has only gotten worse... after I leave it usually feels better but the chronic pain has not subsided and after 2-3 days it comes right back. I do not recommend coming here as it is also very hard to get out of the contract... it is a 6 month but really it is a 7 month contract bc they give u 30 days after u cancel for it to actually take effect... My husband and I both are patients of The Joint. From shoulder injury to sciatica issues to constant hip / leg pain, we try to go a few times per week. Front desk ladies are awesome! Always courteous, happy and efficient. Dr. Chris and Dr. Cook are super! We've both def shown relief of pain and improved symptoms thanks to their dedication, care and best treatments. I would highly recommend The Joint for any/all issues. We could not be more pleased with the entire practice and staff. My fiance and I have come here now for about a year. I do not believe in this field, but she does and she is the one who is telling me to write this review. She is sitting next to me right now. Service is great. Usually, the wait time for a cracking is less than 10 minutes. There was one time the wait was going to be longer and we just chose to come back a different day. It was no big deal. Also, I read in some of the reviews about the contract. I don't do contracts. I think that is always a bad idea. It has nothing to do with this business. That is just my general way of thinking. Besides the contracts, they offer deals on prepaying for a certain number of visits at a discounted rate. That is better than the contracts. Just my two cents. read more

i visited due to arm only and didn't want x-ray, they said it was needed because it may impact to arm if other area has a problem, so took the whole x-ray. but the doctor never reviewed and even doesn't know reviewed the x-ray or not. i asked to send the x-ray, but they still didn't provide it. I asked for insurance coverage, but they never check it. they are nice to talk, but keep saying empty promises and doing nothing. can't trust what they say. totally waste money. don't fool by the review. read more

I came across this business online and couldn't beat their new patient special of $29. I had plans to shop around after because I assumed it was too good to be true that they would have good service for their price, but I was blown away. I was welcomed with a friendly staff and the doctor knew the best plan for me. They were knowledgeable on what's the cause of my issues and what we WILL do to fix and maintain it. They have a wellness plan for $59 a month which includes four visits per month. They do not take insurance but have prices meant to help the public. read more

I was there when they opened, the practitioner was in but the front desk person was running late. When she finally arrived the office was full of people that had arrived (after me) I checked in first and filled out paperwork, handed it back to her and while patients continually were being called back, I had to wait, when I asked about it, she was SO RUDE, I left. I called back to talk to the practitioners but they just said sorry she's been here since we opened and she's not leaving. WOW I was shocked at they're lack of concern over how the receptionist aka face of the company, treats potential clients! Being a business owner myself, Id never let that happen to my clients. Guess that's how they roll! Too bad because me and my husband would have loved to be treated. I brought my daughter there for treatment. She went in by herself and was seen by one of the chiropractors there. I waited in the car, and when she came out I asked if she was feeling better. She said they did not adjust her that the chiropractor said she had a rotator cuff tear as she was having shoulder pain, and he didn't feel that an adjustment would help. They took her money. So I called and spoke with the receptionist who said yeah he thought it was a rotator cuff tear, and couldn't do anything to help her without xrays. So finally he gets on the phone and says he wasn't worried about her shoulder , he was worried about her swallowing and her not being able to talk. She is autistic and gets nervous when pressured. So he wants xrays. we have no insurance because I lost my job. I honestly believe he just didn't want to do his job because she is not on their repeated plan. She was paying cash and that is close to all we had. but because we wont let them charge us every month he would do nothing to help her...They need investigated.... read more

GREAT PEOPLE & GREAT SERVICE! My husband and I have been coming here for a while and it has been so much better than any other place we've tried. We go to Dr. Sanders, so I can't speak for the other two, but my back pain and my husband's mobility have both GREATLY improved. Although it may not be for everyone, we enjoy Dr. Sanders' bedside mannor and the receptionist that we usually see is AWESOME! I don't know what these other reviews are talking about, because for the 3months we've been coming here (weekly, so thats at least 12 visits) we have never had a single complaint. The receptionist with the shorter hair knows us so well she checks us in before we even make it through the door! If you have no sence of humor and are a miserable person, then maybe listen to the other two reviews, but my husband and I enjoy our time here and plan to see them tomorrow! :-) read more

i have been going to The Joint for over a year. I have received excellent care. Dr. Sanders has always given me the time I need. I have problems with my neck and back. I have had to wait at times to see him, but I was offered the opportunity to see another doc. I am in the health profession, so I do understand how hard it is to get good receptionists. Most of the time the front desk staff is friendly, but if they are not, it does not bother me, because I am not going there to see them. Basically they just check you in and then you see the doc. The wait times are never long and all the doctors and front counter people I've seen here are very friendly and helpful. I went in for back and neck stiffness and after 3 months of service I feel a lot better. Ok, I am not sure what the other reviews are talking about. I have been to this location multiple times. My husband as also been and my mom drives 4 hours and alway, always, always goes before she leaves and some times makes a special trip just to see David! You have the option of paying per visit (I have done this), getting a one month contract, getting a 6 month contract (my husband has done this) or buying several visits at a time for a slightly reduced rate. All the doctors are great but I like David best as he is super informative and goes the extra mile to make sure you understand what your body is doing (You can still choose what to do but maybe just maybe these other reviewers had a recommendation to come back more frequently and didn't follow that advice), what he is doing to realign it and what kind of results you can expect - from being a little sore the next day to maybe needing to come 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of weeks in order to get your body on the right track and then backing off depending on your specific case. This is the most cost effective way to get chiropratic help! I have recommended tons of friends to this location and everyone has loved it. For a one time visit fee of $19.00 maybe you should just give it a try for yourself instead of listening to others as we all know customer service is a case by case, day by day thing no matter how much a business tries its still hard to manage. read more
