Horrible customer service,I would be a new patient waited for over 45minutes outside the door this morning. I called the office since I never heard back regarding my appointment. The lady on the phone said they were there but they were locked out. So she couldn't tell the customers that had appts first thing. The status of what was going on? Since she was there?!?Then she mentioned they are franchise and did not have manager that could help. She mentioned there is no manager there, just employees?! Yet. Once they got in I still didn't get a call to try to reschedule or to apologize. read more

Every time I go to this location it is a long wait. Today was the last straw! They had construction going on and it was loud and noisy. Instead of trying to be accommodating and seeing me asap, they made me wait. No one else was in the waiting room, it should have been a quick visit for me. However, after waiting 5 minutes, they insisted I fill out paperwork like I was a new patient. First off, I am not a new patient! Secondly, their paperwork in on a horrible user interface. You could only advance the screen with the Next button which was rarely available for user selection. After 25 minutes and watching patients who had come in after me get treatment, I finally just left! I need an adjustment but I'll find someone else! Avoid this place at all cost! It's not worth the frustration with their needless paperwork. read more

Dr. Idris was awesome! I stopped in because of severe lower back pain that was preventing me from moving in any direction without severe pain. I was seen in a matter of minutes and my provider was attentive, empathetic and kind. He spent a long time making sure my pain was manageable for the time being and gave me advice on how to maintain my spine to keep from having to be aligned so greatly. I felt really cared for and most importantly, I felt better. He clearly explained to me the problem so I could understand and how he would fix it. I will definitely be returning to finish fixing my back and maintaining it! read more

This is the first location where the dr was very pushy in wanting me to be a regular and wouldn't let up. The point of the Joint is that it is convenient when needed. We all have a million things we need to do on a regular basis, and unfortunately not everything can be a priority. Saying it once that it's important to take care of yourself regularly is fine - not over and over and over again when getting the adjustment. It is actually counterproductive for customers like me - makes me want to go somewhere else next time, which I will absolutely do. What makes me want to be a regular somewhere is a place where I get the care I need when I need it, not drilled about what I should be doing. read more

Did not like this chiropractic clinic, they were super pushy and didn't listen the what I needed or wanted. Kept trying to get me to sign up for more and more when I was in there for a specific issue. The chiropractor made me uncomfortable and it made me feel like he was talking down to me because I am a woman and made more than one sarcastic comment about how hard being a stay at home mom must be . My husband paid for a month for me and after the second visit I told him I just didn't feel comfortable returning. They need to learn to be quiet and just fix what needs to be fixed and not try to push sales so much when someone clearly is not interested. Did not enjoy and was not satisfied. I'll stick to a non chain chiropractor In the future. read more

I stopped by for an adjustment and I was greeted with a smile, seen within a couple of minutes, adjustment made and back on the road in a timely manner. The doctor was great! I've gone to chiropractors for years. I've always come out feeling better. A little tenderness at first but better. For the FIRST TIME EVER I came out feeling worse. I was in excruciating pain and did not feel good and was light headed throughout the day. The next day the whole reason I went in the first place, for my tailbone was hurting again. But not only that I had new pain in a new place. A place that most certainly didn't hurt before going and not a pain I've ever had before this. My pelvis was killing me. I was crying it hurt so bad and I couldn't even walk. So grudgingly I went back thinking somehow it made its way out of alignment. She did another adjustment. After I couldn't even walk. I had zero range of motion. My lower back was very stiff. I had to shuffle like a penguin. My neck also hurt worse and I couldn't even turn it. When I went back she claimed it's because she adjusted it in a chair. I've had my neck adjusted sitting up in a chair many many times and have NEVER felt like this. So today I went to a doctor. I wanted to make sure nothing was fractured from my visit. The dr said I had a severe muscle spasm in my neck and the pain I was feeling in my pelvis/hip was my sciatic nerve. What the heck? I've never had sciatic issues ever in my life and one was caused by my visit. Never ever EVER again will I go to the joint in Rowlett. EVER!!! And to blame me instead of taking responsibility that the way she adjusted me might have caused the issue was not ok. And she kept saying it's been a year since my last adjustment despite the fact that I told her several times it's been a year since a visit to the joint but not a year since my last adjustment. read more

This is my second visit to this location and Dr. Glass is amazing. She took the time to listen to what I was telling her and gave me pointers to help on a daily basis. I didn't feel rushed, she took her time when adjusting my back and made me very comfortable as well. I would recommend anyone with back pain to come see her! read more

Never have an overweight doc jump on you with your back twisted. She knocked the damn breath out of me. Twice I've gone, I've felt rushed as soon as I mentioned I don't want to renew my plan. Each adjustment varies so much from what they do. Complete waste of money read more

When my friend injured his shoulder, I bought him a membership at The Joint. I was helped by a person named "LaLa" who was not a very good communicator. My friend said that she was the person that gave him adjustments and that they weren't all that effective. Then, someone else took over, and my friend said that the adjustments werent' very good then either and that he didn't think they were helping at all. I called to cancel and the snooty, rude receptionist said that I couldn't cancel over the phone and that I would need to go into the clinic in Rowlett in person. I told her that I live in another state, that I had opened the account as a gift for someone else and that I wanted to cancel. I forbade her to charge my credit card again. She turned around and charged it almost immediately...like the instant she hung up! Then, when I demanded a refund, some guy named Blake informed me that it was against their policy to refund the money that they weren't authorized to charge me, but that I could have 6 free adjustments. Why I would want adjustments from this company when they aren't very good, is beyond me. I had already quit the Joint in Portland for that same reason. Not very good chiropractic service. So now I'm out $69....and what's up with the $69 amount anyway? I was told adjustments would be $20-something a month. I never authorized any $69 charge. I consider this place to be a ripoff and I hope they go out of business. Sneaky, dishonest, greedy and not very effective. I do NOT recommend The Joint AT ALL!!! read more

I went for my first visit today after multiple recommendations from friends and it was a great experience. Dr. Sharon asked about each problem I was having and explained everything about the exam/adjustment very thoroughly and answered all the questions that I had before starting the exam.
