I am an ex-Yelp elite who does not write reviews for just any business unless they have made a meaningful and significant impact. I am pleased to come out of my review retirement for Dr. Z and his crew (Tammy and Sonia). I found Dr. Z on Yelp early this month. Chronic spine issues from a motor vehicle accident got the best of me and I could not roll out of bed due to a stiff neck, back, hips, shoulders, the major joints. I have long been skeptical about the efficacy of Chiropractic treatment and the cost was always prohibitive. But I was desperate. The first treatment, I could walk without a big limp that accompanied me when I wobbled into the clinic. Second treatment, I told Dr. Z he has hands of God (healing hands) and he is definitely an amazing healer. He did not recommend treatments that would break my bank and kept it minimal in terms of interventions, which my wallet really appreciated. I was started on their standard rehab exercise program to strengthen my core and correct my terrible neck posture. Not only that but his treatment and rehab program taught me the value in manual manipulation to break up scar tissue and adhesions around my spine, as well as continued movement and striving for strength that complements flexibility. I will miss Dr. Z and his team once I leave Dallas but I hope to find someone with his healing hands soon. Highly recommended, if you can grab a morning appointment that is when he is not as busy but expect a wait when you get there since he is very popular, especially in the evenings. While the clinic does not operate exactly on time, that is just a testament to the amount of care and attention Dr. Z gives each of his patients. I'd much prefer to wait rather than have a hurried provider get me in and out like certain "drive through" franchise chiropractors out there! read more

Dr. Z and staff have without a doubt changed my well being. I've been a courier at Fedex for years. My family and have been going to chiropractors pretty much my entire life (I'm 32). When I moved to dallas in 2012, I've been on a hunt. One after another just disappointing in how I've been treated. In 11/16 I had a pain in my upper back, so I thought that if I go to a chiropractor that he'll be able to release some of the pain I had. I called align Right Chiropractic to ask them how much will it cost me for a back adjustment without using insurance, the lady on the phone told me that it will cost me $129. I decided to give them a shot. When I arrived the front desk receptionist asked if I had insurance, I told her that I did hoping that my insurance would cover the $129 costs but it didn't. I then was called in by Dr. Z, he asked few questions to better understand my issue then popped my neck in less than a minute which then made the pain worse. After that, the lady took me to a chair where she connected electric wires to me neck to run an electric current for about 10 minutes. I left their office feeling more pain than when I first walked in. I will not go there again. I showed up here after winding up in the ER with a strained/jammed neck. After Dr. Z sent me out for x-rays, I found out that I have a pretty common problem where people (generally those who work and study constantly, like me) have bad posture and a degenerated neck alignment. After checking in with my terrible insurance, finding out I could only be reimbursed for my appointments, and then deciding to proceed anyhow, I began showing up twice a week for adjustments at a fair and convenient price. These, plus the exercises I was shown, have already made me more conscious of my posture and head/neck position. Everyone here is really friendly. Last Thursday I hurt my lower back real bad at work trying pop my own back. Dumb I know. I called around looking for a chiropractor to see me ASAP that was in network. After several, are you kidding me we take emergencies, I got ahold of Connie at Dr. Z's office. She told me that they always have room for emergencies. Dr. Z listened to me, understood my situation and came up with a treatment plan. Within a week and a half I have gone from not being able to stand straight up and missing work because of the pain to walking and standing normal with no pain. He even has a table that starts you from a standing position and lowers you down until your horizontal. Now he is teaching me to strengthen my core so I don't injure myself again. I have completed 19 of 20 sessions of decompression therapy and thrilled with the results. I first began experiencing issues with my right hand which I though was carpal tunnel. The numbness and pain I was experiencing in my hands then spread up to my bicep and shoulder. I first consulted with a orthopedic and was given two options. A cortisone shot in my wrist or an EMG. I had the cortisone shot which brought temporary relief. Shortly after, I woke up one morning and couldn't bend over without horrible pain in my lower back and right butt cheek to upper thigh area on my right side only. I had tried decompression therapy years ago for sciatica with great results so thought I'd give it a try again. After consulting with Dr Z and going over my X-rays he also suggested not only the decompression for my lower back but neck too. I had no pain in my neck but he explained the issues I was having could be originating from these areas. My first day walking into the office I was in pretty bad shape. I could barely walk without pain. Even getting out of the chair was painful. You will initially feel sore after the decompression but you do feel better within the next day or two. I continued with the therapy and rehab exercises shown to me by Sergio the very knowledgeable and very kind trainer. I will complete my 20th session tomorrow and then will comeback periodically as needed. I would highly recommend Dr Z and his wonderful staff! Dr Z, Sergio, Connie and Monica are a wonderful team and the therapies are affective. I feel 100% better! read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Z and his staff. I came here around 3 months ago with chronic wrist pain after an injury in 2010 and TFCC repair surgery in 2012. I was still in pain well after the surgery and after doing x-rays, an MRI, and CT Scan my doctor could only guess I had arthritis from the surgery. He said I would just have to live with or do exploratory surgery. Dr. Z and his staff have been great. I have just completed 8 weeks of therapy for my neck and I feel great. My regular doctor wanted to give me an injection in my neck. I wasn't comfortable about a needle in my neck. He didn't offer many options. I had been treated by Dr. Z a couple of years back for a sports injury. So I went to see him. We discussed different treatment options. The great thing about him was he respected my right to choose what I felt would be the best choice for myself.
