The concept is great, my only gripe is every visit you have a new chiropractor. I'm not one to adapt to change when it comes to chiropractic. So, I just get their schedules ahead of time. In March 2022, I was in pain and was told that instead of the 45$ per session, I could sign up for a 2 month plan at $79 per month for 8 sessions. At the end of my 8 sessions in May 2022, I confirmed with them that it was my last session and I wouldn't be charged further. They confirmed that it was my last session. No cancelation form was provided. I also returned my entry tag with barcode. Almost 18 months later, I discovered that my HSA card was being charged 79$/month without my knowledge. So basically, I have been charged over $1500 with no service!!! No invoice, no emails stating that I am a member. No invoices were being sent to my email or to my address and no reminders were sent stating that I was a "member". The only emails I got were promotional emails like buy 1 month get 2 free! I have been trying to resolve this with the front desk lady for a week. She keeps saying the manager will call me but never does. After 1 week of them dodging, I again visited the office but was told the manager is ill and can't talk. They even claimed that the manager called me but I hung up. This is bogus as I never received any calls from the manager. I haven't used my HSA card anywhere else so I hardly log on to that account except to retrieve tax documents annually, so I was completely unaware. Please beware of this scam. Extremely unethical business that keeps charging someone's card with no receipt or invoice. I hope this business refunds my money back to my HSA! read more

I have never been to a chiropractor, matter of fact I have always felt anxious about getting my "back cracked" I recently took a nasty fall and have been coming to get support with my lower back pain and discomfort.These folks are so amazing!! I have felt so much better and I am always taken care of quickly and with lots of attentiveness. The staff calls me by name and asks how my recovery is going. The staff is great, very friendly and the price is also nice. You are able to purchase in advance the number of sessions you want. I paid for 6 sessions for $199, which comes out to around $33 per session. I've seen other places charge double for just one session, $65-80. I had really bad neck pain. I went to two sessions and they advised me to ice the area. I did the icing for a couple of days and my neck pain started to disappear slowly. This is a newer location that wasn't open yet when I started going to The Joint. It's closer to home and in a different direction than the 1960 location. So, it gives me a new option. That's nice! It's a nice environment, the staff is very friendly and the chiropractor, Dr. Bolton is great! If you've never been to a chiropractor, this would be a comfortable place to start. And the convenience of not needing an appointment, being able to visit any Joint location at any time, getting in and out quickly all while having a monthly subscription cost that's very reasonable, it just can't be beat! Dr. Whitaker is a literal miracle worker. I was having some pretty severe calf problems as a result of intense daily P/T in the Police Academy. I went in for a regular adjustment and casually mentioned my discomfort, not realizing that it could have easily been the result of a chiropractic issue. Dr. Whitaker said "whoa, lay back down on the table!" He then proceeded to adjust my hips and gave me a deep tissue Arrosti-like rub on my calves, which absolutely cured my ailment ON THE SPOT. This guy doesnt just know his stuff, he has an athletic instinct that makes him THE go-to chiropractor for runners, crossfitters, and weightlifters. Dr. Oz is the absolute best doctor I've experienced at The Joint and I've been a client for 2.5 years. I've visited Southpark Meadows in Austin as well as other Houston locations and compared to others he is the MOST thorough, attentive, gentle and educated. At one point he suggested x -rays that no one else ever suggested and he just took my blood pressure before the adjustment because I mentioned more than normal aches. The dr I saw was amazing! She was highly knowledgeable and professional and was able to make adjustments on me that others have not been able to adjust! The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because of the front desk.. The receptionist came off a little rude when I told her I wouldn't sign up for a membership and gave me way too much unnecessary information about what I should be doing (diet, stretching) I felt those are things a dr should tell me. And I wasn't crazy about all the beds being together in one room, not much privacy! I feel that if I'm rolling around on a bed getting adjustments, it shouldn't be in front of people I don't know!
