I have been to the Joint Chiropractic in the past for sciatic nerve treatments and after a few months it helped relieve years of suffering. Recently I returned to the one closest to me in Waxahachie because it was trying to return. Thankfully after three visits, it was relieved. I keep going to the Joint Chiropractic in Waxahachie because Dr. Jackson and Dr. Godard are very effective. This means I can come in any day regardless of who is on duty, and I'll be fine. I won't forget Ms. Presunder, she is the glowing face on the front desk who always greets with a smile and helps answer all questions. Also the occasionally call or text me to remind me I haven't used my paid for visits, which was part of my original problem that led me to stop coming in. I'm grateful for this team! read more

I like the practitioners. They are competent. The receptionist is a star. It's very clean. If there is a practitioner you like, you can find out when he or she is there. The only problem on the medical side is that they don't warm you up. Joints need to be warmed up before they are adjusted. That's what happened with my former chiropractor. When you start, you make a first payment for 10 or so treatments, and must make at least one more monthly payment. You are told repeatedly that they will not stop billing unless you come in and fill out forms. I have used chiropractic in the past and it has been very helpful. This time it wasn't. It had nothing to do with them. It was just inappropriate for me at the time. So I stopped after four or so appointments. Much pain and many doctor visits later, I am on the mend. Yesterday, I was looking at recent charges on my bank statement and saw that there were two additional charges beyond the required two payments. So I went immediately to the clinic and got the plan stopped. But I am out two months of payments for no service. There is no billing reminder. The excuse is that they are "a medical facility" and don't send out statements, that "X number of people come through in a day and we can't keep track of them." Emails did come saying I had X free visits this month. The last be of those was over a month ago (August 1). I consider billing methods to be an unethical business practice. This location is part of a multi-store franchise, and franchise management follows rules from above. People can forget, even if they are told three times on day 1 that you have to come in physically in order to stop payments. Do I ended up making two payments for service not rendered. No blame on the local people. They are doing their best and doing it well. So go, but be warned. You could suffer significant losses if you stop therapy and forget that you have to do this in person. read more

This review is not about the doctors. Dr Jackson was great and helped me tremendously. My issue is I had to have cataract surgery and notified the clinic. They said they would freeze the accurate I could continue after I was released from my doctor. I find out today the freeze canceled out my account and I had 5 visits left that were already paid for. So I was charged 129.00 for first month and they automatically charged me another month that I wasn't even aware of. I lost 5 visits. The doctors were good but that policy sucks. if you decide to go make sure you sign a cancellation before they auto charge again and don't tell you! Thats ridiculous! read more

Was not getting great results from Physical Therapy for a pinched nerve and heard about The Joint in Waxahachie. First it is a nice comfortable place to go. They do have a special for first time patients but you have to decide on your first visit. You can't go home and think about it like I did. I think I got my first visit for $29 and then for 4 visits a month was around $85.... While I only gave it 3 stars if this was solely on Dr. Alvarez it would be higher as she listened to the issue I was having and really tailored he treatment to it. And maybe I should have asked for her each time but due to their schedules they are not there all the time.... And for me that didn't work. 5 visits, 4 different Dr.s , each with their own method. So I certainly don't discourage anyone from going to The Joint but it might not work for everyone. read more

Best Chiropractors in town. My son had issues with hip pain and stiff joints Dr. Jackson gave him treatments and stretches to help and he is a completely different kid. He always asks to go for his appts. once a week and fixes him right up. My son is an athlete and it has helped improve his movements on the court. I highly recommend to all especially with an athlete. They really know what they are doing. My son never walks out feeling completely different and improved.
