I first came to Infinity Wellness Center to see Dr. Wards October of 2018 for a wide range of symptoms (around 20 in total) that gradually increased in intensity over a span of several months for which my medical doctors could not pinpoint a reason (all blood tests were displaying in the normal range, although some high and some low). I didn't feel like my usual social and active self and was for the most part not enjoying life with all my symptoms. On process: The initial questionnaire is comprehensive. Dr. Wards reviewed all the scores with me, what they may signify, and in what order we should address them. I also opted in for genetic testing which informs on any protocols taken in the journey to wellness. For each subsequent appointment, you complete a scorecard listing all your initial symptoms and their associated scores 0-10 on severity. Not only does it inform on what remains to be addressed, but each time I attend an appointment I can see how much progress has been made. Within a couple of weeks of changing my diet, repairing my gut and addressing intestinal parasites, I was well on my way to feeling closer to my real normal. I saw Dr Massey to assess my mobility and some hip pain. I train in martial arts and had been having a hard time with some of the movements, primarily high side kicks. Making the initial appointment was easy, and the front desk was great. I opted to print the intake paperwork and fill it out ahead of time which sped up the process. I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by Dr Massey on time. She did a great job assessing my concerns, and looked at & treated some other areas as well. She was professional in her treatment and gave some exercises and next steps I could do at home. I did get the help I needed with a GI problem. For some reason, I was not digesting my food very well and it was extremely uncomfortable. The initial appointment cost $185, and I spent another $170 on supplements. I decided to cancel my $95 follow up since I felt better. I don't want to spend another $95 plus whatever additional supplements they'll suggest. All the supplements I bought from them were about twice the cost of the same types of supplements found OTC. I do appreciate their help. I never would have sought out the enzymatic supplements OTC without visiting IWC and those enzymes made a huge difference. I've been sick for 20+ years. The last 10 have been spent in the bed. I've been to EVERY specialist there is in my area and Houston. They piled pills upon pills to treat my symptoms and labeled me with "fibromyalgia." I knew that was not the problem, but finally just accepted I would never get better. One day while sitting on my floor exhausted, crying, scrolling through Facebook, an ad popped up for Doctor Tenesha Wards. She described me and my life and my symptoms completely and said there was an answer. For the first time, I had hope. I perused her website, watched more videos, and filled out the form to get help. I was sent papers to fill out with my symptoms and history. These forms asked questions no other doctor had ever asked! She called me personally, and I was shocked. We talked for quite a while about my symptoms and what all had been tried. She said she had a very good idea of what is going on and asked if I were in her treatment program, would I follow it? I literally said, "If you tell me to eat dirt, I will eat dirt." And with that, I was in. I received my box in the mail with testing kits and a journal, along with beginning supplements and instructions. I did my genetic test and my Lyme test and sent them back. My genetics showed why I've never been able to get well. She went over each horrible area with me and ended it with "But we can fix this!" My Lyme showed two strains positive. Even though I had been tested before, it wasn't done correctly. So, according to all of these results, I had a lot of work to do, but I would do anything she told me to do. Over the next few months I began eating clean, avoided foods bad for me, took supplements to help my body where it didn't function correctly, and made serious lifestyle changes. By watching each section of the program, I learned about nutrition, how the body works, what it needs and doesn't, what stress had been doing to me, how to meditate it away, and how I would be living my life from the end of the program on. Initially, I noticed becoming clear-headed after weeks into the program. I noticed I could complete sentences again. I can't reverse the damage done, but surprisingly enough, I could reverse the things I didn't know I could. My speech became better, my vision better, no more bruising or falling, and I started being more "able" than "unable." I'm still in the last part of the program but I know my life has changed. She TRULY cares. I'll miss this community after I complete this program, but hope I can find a way to give back by helping her. I came here back in January looking for a more natural way to treat my issues with headaches, nausea, and exhaustion. I can't remember a single appointment where I wasn't kept waiting in the waiting room for at least 10 or 15 minutes past my appointment time. I will admit that I didn't have my paperwork done in time for my very first appointment, but it didn't matter because I still had to wait for my doctor to finish with her previous patient. When I'd finally meet with my doctor I always felt rushed in and out. It felt like she didn't have the time to listen to what I had to say about my problems, and she wasn't very empathetic. During one follow-up, my doctor asked me to position myself a certain way and felt around my neck. I didn't know what she was doing until she popped my neck and then my back afterwards. She didn't tell me beforehand that she was going to do chiropractic work on me. I was charged for it afterwards even though I didn't have any neck or back issues to begin with. On top of everything, I didn't notice a great improvement in my health. I noticed some improvement in the first week or two but didn't continue to feel better after that. I found out from my new holistic doctor, who I've seen much better results with, that a lot of the expensive supplements I had been prescribed from my previous doctor at Infinity Wellness were not doing my body any good and that they had OVERDOSED me on iron and vitamin D. The front desk at Infinity sells the supplements that are prescribed by the doctors. Half the time I was there they were understocked. Some of the supplements I needed they didn't even keep at all. I was constantly directed to go to another pharmacy for what they didn't carry or had run out of. The lady at the front desk offered to call me when they got a new order of the supplies that they did keep. I agreed and she wrote my name down. She never called. So there are some really good things about this place, but I've now had quite a few really bad experiences that really need to be addressed. I've already spoken to the owner about my dissatisfaction and her solution was to make me pay more money! Cons: 1. The $235 blood tests they make you get you can get from a normal doctor through your insurance. They make it sound like you can't get these tests from your doctor and have to buy through them. $235 down the drain 2. First few visits are good but then Dr. W got sloppy. Less and less is done for you the more you visit. Start expecting more like at first and they want to charge you double for your visit. 3. They prescribe and bill you for supplements you don't need any more. Taking the same thing 5 months straight and the quantity never decreases? Often times she doesn't even update your dosage so you are buying and taking more than you need. 4. Need an extra 5 minutes of time with the doctor? Expect to be refused unless you are willing to pay an extra $90 for your visit. And you can expect you might have to wait an hour for those extra 5 minutes! They are greedy and want money, patient is not of first importance to them. 5. Office is sometimes hard to reach and may take days to get what you need. They often take days off and theres no message on the answering machine or anything online to inform you they aren't even there. 6. They don't promise what you agree to in the papers they give you about your treatment plan. I addressed this and got an answer that wasn't in agreement with what it says in black and white in the contract. (Saying that you are limited to 20 minutes for an appointment when paperwork says you get generally 20-30).They are supposed to determine your primary area that needs concern on every visit and give treatment. Sometimes they don't even check it. 7. If you have test results expect they may charge you just to go over your test results and want to set up a separate appointment so you can pay double. 8. Bloodwork can show problems they don't even address. 9. As of late I have had more success finding my own treatments online and feeling better. 10. Dr. W's NRT (nutrition response testing) is extremely basic and there doesn't seem to be much skill. I have gone to other doctors who are way more skilled in NRT and charge 1/3 of what she does. 11. Made strange recommendations for bad dreams. (Shamans/ demonic stuff) 12. Possibility they may OVERDOSE you. Happened to me with vitamin D. They prescribed 40,000 IU PER DAY. I took half and still got very ill for a few days from overdosing. 13. Sometimes dr. W seems to be guessing when prescribing supplements. Like, lets just try this and see if it works. 14. You might go here and still not find the source of your problems. 15. Appointments can feel very rushed. I was still in the room trying to pack up my supplements when the doctor was trying to bring the next patient into the room. 16. There are almost always problems when I go to checkout. Something the doctor wrote on my supplement list isn't legible, or something is missing, or something is different than what we discussed etc. 17. If you have the above situation expect to wait a long time to talk to the doctor to resolve. 18. If Dr. W forgets to do something in your appointment and you want her to take 5 minutes to do it, expect to wait for her to see mother patient or 2 before she takes care of you. 19. Dr. W doesn't greet you when she sees you which is super awkward, only greets at appointment. 20. Always wait at least 30 mins after appt time to be seen. Pros 1. They practice functional medicine. 2. The insight you get from blood work and their recommended tests are helpful. 3. They are very thorough with you in your initial appointment. 4. Office staff is polite and friendly. 5. Dr W. Is an overall pleasant person. 6. Blood tests caught a lot of problems I was unaware of. Most conventional doctors dont do thorough blood work like this unless you ask. 7. Their office is nice and clean. 8. Supplements seem fairly priced and what I need is usually in stock. 9. Have shown some good improvements with their treatments. 10. The main thing I think really that is gained from going to any functional doctor are the alternative tests you can get which can be addressed with supplements. 11. NRT is very helpful in knowing what areas of your body are stressed. Seeing improvement with less areas being stressed is a huge motivator. Its a shame they arent consistent in testing it each visit. EDIT, in response to IWC reply: It sounds like they are unable to take care of the number of patients they have and that is their excuse. I waited at least 30 minutes to be seen at every single appointment. In 5 months time that I went there that never changed. If they really cared about their patients and meant what they wrote in response to this they would take fewer daily appointments, hire more people or stop taking new clients. read more

Dr. Massey is not only pleasant in her demeanor, but also refreshing in her tendency to take appointments slowly, analyze problem areas thoroughly, and develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient. She doesn't just "get cracking" on your back right away. She gives great eye contact and asks plenty of questions. Adjustments are made deliberately, with care, and only as needed. You are in GOOD HANDS with this doctor! While I understand that healing takes time and repeated treatments, I do not like being "sold" a number of treatments from the get go. I was diagnosed two years with Celiac's Disease. I immediately went Gluten-free and began to feel much better. I continued to have other symptoms, including joint pain, shallow breathing, burning pain in my feet, general fatigue, irritability, insomnia, among others. I thought they were related to my Celiac's but just could not get better. I went to a number of traditional doctors (general practice, GI doc, rheumatologist, ENT, allergist, among others) and no one could really tell me what was wrong. It's so frustrating when you know your body and you know there is something wrong with you and medical professionals can do nothing to make you feel better and diagnose your problem.
