The VA has turned down my authorization for care here, and alot of other VETS, because of their asinine ideas. I come here on my own now through my personal insurance as I know I get the care I need. The adjustments to my neck and back helps me make it through rough times. Combined with the deep tissue massage helps me dramaticlly. My first visit I payed out of pocket $50.00 I didn't have my updated insurance card with me (not an issue), the second visit I had my update insurance card. They entered My info to see what my insurance covered . When I inquired what my insurance covered , they told me that they could not tell, that they Would need to bill my insurance and then the insurance will tell them after . I should have been suspicious from then . When the bill came back for 340 out of pocket . If I had payed out of pocket from the start it would be $ 50 first visit 40 for the other 4 hrs plus 45 for 1 massage= total 255 What was actually billed insurance paid 150 + out of pocket 340 = 445. When I called discussed this with Doxey Family about the billing they nonchalantly said " well next time when you visit we can switch your billing to Out-pocket only since it would be cheaper" I replied with I'm not going back and paid the billed . Just be aware of your billing with Doxey family . Not going back!
