Their special was rhubarb, apple and pear and it was fantastic. Tart acerbic rhubarb, almost spicy with the natural sugary sweetness of the apple and pear. £2.50 for a fairly large plastic cup was pretty reasonable. The juice is fresh, the fruity combinations are top notch and very well paired and the staff are cheery. It's certainly a good way to start the day.

But any time I called in here for a tea or a juice on my way to work I was greeted with excellent service and friendly staff who were up at the same time of the day as me but had much sunnier complexions. I know they are paid to provide a service but it is never easy at that time of the morning so I salute them. The food and stuff is ok, nothing special but you can get some porridge which I think is a nice personal touch. The prices are pretty reasonable and pretty much what you will pay elsewhere, if not a little cheaper.

The bowls of soup are always tempting on cold winter days. A grand little juice bar with reasonable prices and nice staff.

Toilet seems clean. It's single stall. The upside is each "room" (single stall) is marked for men or women, not unisex.

After a shot of espresso from the neighbouring stall I headed over for a gasp of fresh OJ (not the shamed armed robbing American footballer). There's something of the fresh spirit, slightly hippie element to juice bars and this one had a similar vibe, which is no bad thing. I got a plastic cup of fresh orange juice, I think it was around the two squid mark. It was ok, a little warm and overly tart and citric. It sorted me out but I wouldn't rush back. My face was screwed as if sucking on a lemon soaking in battery acid, I could have been unlucky and got an uber-sour orange but still. They also do a range of over squeezed juices but I was a little worse for wear so can't quite recall.

I ordered a Superfood salad with no cheese which came in a good-sized bowl and looked super appetising! I asked for tomatoes instead of cheese that they havent charged any extra for, and the food came really quick as well. Unfortunately i didnt get the name of our waitress, but she was really friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommended Slims to anybody, vegan or not, everything is fresh and beautifully served. Unlike most other city centre locations they don't mess around with hot sandwiches or paninis etc.. They keep it simple by offering an unreal selection of high quality fresh fillings and salads. The portion sizes are ridiculous (in a good way) they pile so much in it's hard to see how they make any money! My personal fav it's their club sandwich, this easily the biggest sandwich you can buy in Belfast, it's costs just over a fiver but would easily do two people. Along side the quality produce and massive portions the service is second to none. Bob and Christine run it and their banter alone is worth a visit, a nice touch is also the fact they give you a free apple with every sandwich for a healthy desert.
