We watched Keith build his reputation and expand they ways he was selling houses, including a terrific marketing presence. When we decided to move out of state, Keith Walker was the only realtor for us. He's smart, a good salesperson without being overbearing, truly on top of technology and very successful. In January, Keith and Kris (Keith's son) came to our home to explain the process and contract and look around the house, nothing things we could update to achieve a fast sell at a good price. He recommends vendors: contractors, someone to clean out remaining items, clean the house, etc. Their team was so fast that we moved out on a Friday and the next week they came in to take photos and video for online open houses. We left at a wild time for people between COVID, a changing market and a plummeting interest rate. Keith and Kris kept in touch with us and promoted our house for sale. What can I say about Keith Walker and his team that I have not already said when he helped us buy our house in San Jose. This time we engaged them to sell our property in Fremont and once again as expected they came through with flying colors. Of course there were hiccups along the way as you would expect for large transactions like these but Keith closed like the champion he is. The Walker team does not get a 5 star rating from me. I am an older , single woman selling in the the mid $400,000 range. Keith Walker promised me excellent service and didn't deliver. His cleaning staff did a poor job - he promised to partially reimburse me and never did. His selling staff was undependable - late twice, didn't have fliers ready, inadequate signs. (I hear he shows up in person for his higher price clients.) The stagers took some Personal items that were never returned. I allowed him to push me into signing quickly. He told me that there was a slump in the market and I might not get a better offer. My unit subsequently got more offers and within a short time two units in the complex sold at higher prices than my own. When I reasonably voiced my complaints, he handed me over to "Mrs" Walker who brushed me off. I was left with the impression that his commission wasn't high enough for Mr Walker to put in the required time. However, a higher price would have make a big difference to me. read more
