I have calls asking can she make me a small pan please. They melted in my mouth. They needed no seasoning. Truth be told. I was taking the remainder home and ate them cold. The mixed veggie combo was so fresh and not your mundane peas and carrots. So glad squash was added, dad loves squash, along with green beans, carrots and variety bell peppers. At the last minute I grabbed a bottle of hot sauce for the chicken and took it back home unopened. It was not needed. The chicken was so tender it fell off the bone. YES ! All of it was so good. I have been using Chef K for about 14 years for all of my events. So proud she is taking off in business. If you want a good meal that people will love with that home touch she is your caterer. While the chef was kind and clearly doing his best, he was not equipped to handle the event. It took nearly four hours for the meal to be prepared, and some guests didn't eat until 10 p.m. Others had to leave before the last dishes even came out. To be clear, the issue wasn't the chef's attitude or effort--it was the company's decision to send someone alone and so inexperienced without proper training or support. When the host reached out to share feedback, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of owning any part of the problem, the company doubled down and deflected blame onto the customer. They even brought up a tip that was voluntarily given to the chef--a tip no one asked to have refunded--just to avoid taking responsibility and they easily could've refunded a portion of the company's main charges, and not direct the customer to take the tip back - that's inexcusable. If you look through the many negative reviews, there's a clear pattern: the company never takes ownership. They blame the customer, ignore the actual feedback, and show zero accountability. In this type of business, customer service is everything. Unfortunately, this company is falling short in a major way. Tipping a hardworking chef doesn't excuse a poor experience, and it doesn't absolve a company from delivering the quality they promise. At the very least, an apology and some ownership would have gone a long way.

Molly was up front that they do not take credit cards or check but could do Zelle or cash. We planned on Zelle. However mid meal we received a text from Molly asking about payment. We tried sending money but our bank had a max monthly limit on how much we could send via Zelle. Because of this limit it then made dinner super stressful. So if you plan on doing Zelle, check with your bank first during business hours.

This was the first I heard of it because I would never have agreed. Why would I agreed to use a service for eight times before I even know if I liked it?! Chef Beau said that the policy was explained to me in a "myriad if ways". This is simply not true. He is now refusing to return my $150 deposit even though he has his glass containers back. This is theft of my money as he has his property. It's simple - you charge a deposit for an item, the item gets to return you give back the deposit. Do not use the service!
