We…read morerecently attended a private hibachi dinner hosted by friends, and unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience. While the chef was kind and clearly doing his best, he was not equipped to handle the event. It took nearly four hours for the meal to be prepared, and some guests didn't eat until 10 p.m. Others had to leave before the last dishes even came out. To be clear, the issue wasn't the chef's attitude or effort--it was the company's decision to send someone alone and so inexperienced without proper training or support. When the host reached out to share feedback, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of owning any part of the problem, the company doubled down and deflected blame onto the customer. They even brought up a tip that was voluntarily given to the chef--a tip no one asked to have refunded--just to avoid taking responsibility and they easily could've refunded a portion of the company's main charges, and not direct the customer to take the tip back - that's inexcusable. If you look through the many negative reviews, there's a clear pattern: the company never takes ownership. They blame the customer, ignore the actual feedback, and show zero accountability. In this type of business, customer service is everything. Unfortunately, this company is falling short in a major way. Tipping a hardworking chef doesn't excuse a poor experience, and it doesn't absolve a company from delivering the quality they promise. At the very least, an apology and some ownership would have gone a long way.

It took about 2 hours for dinner to feed 50 people. We probably had food for 100 people. Each course was a meal. The chefs were very interactive with us and our guests. Sadly, everyone was full by the time the steak and chicken came around but they all still managed to eat some. Advice to customer: The only downside was the payment part. Molly was up front that they do not take credit cards or check but could do Zelle or cash. We planned on Zelle. However mid meal we received a text from Molly asking about payment. We tried sending money but our bank had a max monthly limit on how much we could send via Zelle. Because of this limit it then made dinner super stressful. So if you plan on doing Zelle, check with your bank first during business hours.

Immediately upon our first conversation Chef Rogers was dropped into exactly what we were looking for, how we wanted things to be, and the quality of the meal that we were looking for.
