I had a friend bring me here to fill my prescription after being released from the hospital for a hip replacement surgery. I had a cane, 6 hospital bracelets, and 40+ staples going down my leg. The pharmacist sent me hobbling back to the hospital to have the date put on the prescription. When I came back, they said they wouldn't fill it because the date "looked weird", so we drove back to the hospital the second time. After speaking with the head nurse in the joint replacement center, CVS told the hospital "we won't fill it", and that was that. Not only will I NEVER shop here again, I will actively tell everyone I know not to spend a single cent here. The pharmacy is too busy covering its collective ass to bother calling a doctors office to verify a prescription, like they're supposed to. They would rather let a patient go home in agony.

Dr. B puts on a razzle dazzle show for the sales pitch of types of lenses to chose and push for the…read morelaser. Surgery "center" is in a strip mall and design is from the 1960s; not really clean. Operating rooms look more like office space that was retrofitted. Once it's your turn to go in the "chair" to get setup for surgery, there is no privacy; other surgeries I've had put a curtain between each patient. Worse, the doctor never comes to talk to you before the surgery. Just comes into the OR and does his thing without so much as a "how do you do". Billing department insists on payment of lenses and co-pay BEFORE surgery and tells you, in a condescending tone, that if you don't pay, they'll cancel the surgery. The only positive thing was the nurses. They were wonderful!

Not just him but the entire staff took care of me, put my mind at ease. I'm still in AWE. I'm a strong believer in GOD and I believe that Dr.Bucci and his staff are God sends. I was scheduled for cataract surgery with a multifocal implant today. I was talked in to the unsell…read moreof full laser surgery and the premium implant and paid over $6k out of pocket. I was prepped for surgery and about to enter the ER when they asked about one of my medications and when was the last time I took it. It is a once-a-week dose and I last took it 6 days ago. They then tell me that I had to be off of it for 7 days and the anesthesiologist will not budge on it. I told them it would have been nice if they mentioned that in my pre-surgical instructions or even when they called me yesterday, especially since my doctor had sent over my pre-surgical exam and medication list on 1/2. Not only, did they mess up on that, they couldn't reschedule within the 30 days the pre-op exam was good for, so that would mean taking more time off work to get another pre-op physical, in addition to the 2 days i would need to take off work for the procedure and follow up. At this point, I told them to just cancel the entire thing and refund my money. If they can't get something as simple as pre-op instructions right, I don't want them messing with my vision. I would give 0 stars if it was an option.
