Imagine eating lunch in front of a waterfall. Well I actually did that! It was a man made waterfall but it was still amazing anyways. And you can spend a whole afternoon here. They have a museum, pool to swim and you can ride in bamboo boats. The food is only available from 11am - 2pm so make sure to get there when it opens because it's buffet style so eat as much as you can!
The food is sooo good. Loads of meat options and veggie options for any of you who don't eat meat. In my picture it looks like the food is only served on a leaf but I promise you they give you a plate underneath haha. This place isn't fully primitive. Drinks are extra but I recommend getting a coconut juice that's served right from the coconut, loved it! And while you eat they have water underneath you to cool off your feet and legs which in the ridiculous 90% humid Philippine heat felt really nice.
This place is pretty far out from the Metro Manila area, took about two and a half hours via a bus to get there so prepare accordingly. I managed to get entry and food for $40usd(2000php) which seems to be standard, definitely book in advanced, you wouldn't want to bus 2.5 hours out there for them to tell you it's full. Unless you just like riding in buses, then ok go for it haha.
This was definitely one of the most unique things I did when on my trip, for sure you should add this to your travel list and if you're a local and haven't been yet, go! It's a fun day trip to get away from the big city. read more
