I like the things they sell and have bought a couple items from them. They have nice paintings. I enjoy the First Friday event.

Update! So after only a few weeks, Robin called me to let me know that my decanter had come in! She sent me pictures and let me know the type she got before I drove out there. I got super excited and drove out that weekend to check it out. She was surprised to see me so soon, But I told her I couldn't wait. She had gotten me the exact style I was looking for! The Lake House is the best place on the mountain (and beyond) for interior design and other treasures. We used them when we freshened up our living room space and then again when we remodeled our upper floor. They really are the best on the mountain. Robin is an absolute godsend!! I was in desperate need of a couch since the one at my Airbnb broke. When I called, she didn't have one, which she said is the first time in years that was the case. Then, just a few minutes later, she actually called me and said that a dear client of hers that ordered two couches from her had an all leather couch in great condition that she would give me for free!! It ended up being exactly what we needed and I couldn't believe the serendipity of it all. Karma was kind to me and clearly it radiates around Robin and The Lake House! The Lake House is one of my favorite shops in The Glen! Robin and her staff are so friendly and make you feel welcomed in the store! Robin does a fantastic job on carrying an array of unique items from sweet green chile sauce (that's yummy over cream cheese and ate with Fritos btw) local artisan pieces, lovely furniture and now my new favorite, napkins that look and feel like fabric but they are paper! Its the perfect place to get those last minute items too when hosting guests such as wine glass glasses or extra bedding! And all the delectables make wonderful hostess gifts! Their sister shop, Wildflowers at the Lake, which just opened, is just as impressive! Perfect place to get beautiful arrangements to small gifts. The Glen is a must stop when you are up on the mountain and it's so close to the Village in Lake Arrowhead! It's so important that we support local, unique shops such as her's! read more

Really enjoyed this shop. There is a lot of variety that is well displayed. The shop is much bigger than it appears to be from the outside. The back of the shop features the random, garage sale type items while the front displays seasonal and mountain friendly decor. There were a number of things I wanted to take home with me! The women working at the shop were busy with others but it was nice to wander through unbothered. It is absolutely worth stopping here. Enjoy the experience! read more

We love shopping at the Lake House. The proprietor, Robin is warm, friendly and understands interior design, antiques and great food. The recent additions of hand made jewelry are lovely and well priced for the quality. We also like the interesting selection of paintings from local artists and collection of model wooden boats for sale. We had found lighting online and Robin ordered it for us and was happy to give tips on placement and overall design concepts. The Lake House is one of the areas best shopping venues for sure. read more

I have been in this store 3 times and still didn't have chance to buy any thing, however the reason I keep going there is the owner's personality as well as great looking antiques and verity of new items . We live in Lake Arrowhead part time and rely on this classy place for wonderful products AND warm caring service. Best of Lake Arrowhead You can shop for your home or cabin, find art (from local artists), and find wonderful gifts. This store is one of the reasons my cabin has charm. The first time my husband and I visited while on our honeymoon in April...(just wandering around and happened upon it) we ended up talking to the owner Robin for over an hour, and walked out with a beautiful piece of art by a local artist. We were back last weekend for a short vacation and had to stop by again! Robin remembered us both and it was another great visit. The store is filled with treasures and I LOVE that she supports local artists. There are medium and high-priced items in the store, but never any pretentious feeling from the owner or her staff. I have been in the store previously but hadn't taken a long look around. Well today I was the only person in the store and I got the pleasure of speaking with the owner Robin. She was incredibly nice and helpful and I bought some beautiful handmade mugs and earrings. When I told her I was new to the mountain she gave me a welcome package!!! She gave me all kinds of treats including this delectable pepper jam. People like Robin are why I decided to move here. She also owns wildflowers which is also a great shop! I just visited this well stocked and diversified shoppers paradise that offers anything from one of a kind art works to unique flavors of jams. Most importantly is that the owner Robbin is the friendliest most welcoming Arrowhead citizen we have crossed paths with. We just bought a cabin in April and she graciously offered to put together a welcome package that included all the information we need to get acquainted with our new vacation home. She even gave us a jar of spicy peppers to try! Just lovely. We will certainly come back and we recommend everyone to stop by. read more

We purchased a large area rug for our home in Los Angeles a few weeks ago and we've had so many compliments on it! We purchased a sofa bed for $400 that was to be delivered in two months. Before the end of that time, we were told that they would not be able to deliver it and that they would sell it to someone else instead, if we were in agreement. We agreed to this, assuming that we would get a refund. However, when we came into the store, we were told that the sofa was sold to someone else and that we would receive store credit, according to their return policy. We were very disappointed with this, as we felt that they should have informed us about the store credit at the time they spoke to us about giving up the sofa bed. We would have figured out a way to organize the delivery if we had known that we would lose both the sofa bed and our money. read more

This is the best store on the mountain. Very unique items !! Anything that our home needed we found at this store. Many of the items were custom made or designed and Robin, the store owner has a keen sense of what works. If I needed something she didn't have in the store, she found it for me through her sources. The customer service is top notch and I really give the credit to the fabulous look of our home to the talent and genuine interest of all at the Lake House.
