They always have samples to try and you can make yourself a complimentary coffee, hot tea or hot chocolate. Last summer they even had really good iced tea! Items for sale are all price ranges, without selling junk. Make sure to pick up a map of downtown, showing all the businesses. The map is located on the counter. The girls working the store are pretty, vibrant, helpful and pleasant. I'm always buying toffee, candles and Lakegirl brand clothes from there - plus so many other wonderful things. I did buy a Yopperlite and had asked the clerk where I could go to collect rocks. He did tell me where I could try looking for Yooperlites - he really didn't have to do that! He was really great to talk to. I so appreciate that he was willing to talk to me about finding my own rocks. I did want to hunt Yooperlites, but also for any other beach rocks that struck my fancy. I would absolutely stop here again!

I purchased a wreath and a snowshoe, both of which lend a distinctively rustic vibe to our space without trying too hard. The owner also helped me out in a pinch when our floor lamp fell apart- we paired a cute mid-height (affordable!) table and lamp she had in-stock for the perfect replacement. Can't say enough good things about this store and its talented owner. I make sure to stop in and shop every time we're in the Northwoods- there is even easy access to the BATS bike trail and it is right across the street from the Sayner playground so the kids can play with Daddy while I browse. :) A quick drive from St. Germain/Arbor Vitae/Boulder Junction- fun outing if you're in the mood to find a cute Northwoods treasure.
