We send patients to a lot of PT facilities, but I have to say, now that I have worked with this office for a while, if we have a patient that is anywhere NEAR an Ortho Rehab office, in particular the North Little Rock location, in the future we will definitely be sending them there. Kaitlyn and Miller at the NLR office are not just helpful, they honestly care about the patient and provide the best customer service I have dealt with. They know exactly what needs to be done to help our injured workers get back to work, and it gets done. I never have to call and ask them for reports, they are always on top of it. I can't say enough good things about this PT facility, and we not only highly recommend them, we will definitely be using them every chance we get in the future.

My brother Glenn at the age of 21 on Christmas Eve had a car accident that would change his life…read moreand his families forever. Once he came out of his coma he was taken to Kessler Institute for Rehab. Then it was time to find a place for him to live out his life and be cared for. After visiting a number of places Glenn was not happy with, he and his parents journeyed to Arkansas, Timber Ridge Ranch. He said to his mom "This is nice and I could live here". And so he did live there for 35 happy years. He would come home to visit twice a year. But toward the end of the two weeks he was always looking forward to getting back home to Timber Ridge. Christmas Eve 2018 Glenn had a stroke and was airlifted to the hospital. He remained in the hospital for three weeks. His prognosis was poor and was sent to a wonderful, caring facility called The Hospice Care Center. During the time he spent in the hospital and Hospice, caretakers from Timber Ridge took the time to visit with him. Brad Doughty (Brain Injury Specialist) was our lifeline during and following this difficult time. I highly recommend this facility for your love ones. They will be taken care of them with dignity and caring kindness.

I slowly watched my husband start to go downhill. He even started having kidney problems. My husband finally said get me out of here and we left. Went home no accidents whatsoever. They just didn't know how to or wanted to take care of him in the proper way always understaffed. We finally brought our own water and coffee pot because they would not even let us get it out of the nurses station. I could write a book on this one and we were only there a week!!

The therapist John & Jake was the two people who helped me throughout my journey. They were so kind & helpful! Each week they set goals for me to achieve and encouraged me through this entire process, even when I wanted to give up they kept encouraging me, which was exactly what I needed. I observed all the therapist being so kind to other patients around me! I highly, highly recommend using them for any physical therapy needs! They considered him violent because, when they moved him from the hospital, he lashed out due to the change, and I wasn't around to help him make the transition. At first, I was happy; I thought he was happy. Then, I didn't see any progress, but I didn't know what to do or say. I was just listening to what everybody said needed to be done. He needed to be there for at least 10 days. In my opinion, he came out worse than when he went in, and almost everybody who came to see him agrees. As soon as he got home and sobered up from the drugs they had him on, he didn't need two people to help him; he only needed one. I'm going to go on with my unhappiness; I'm just disgusted. I'm sure some people have had good experiences, but we did not. The night crew seems to be the worst. They don't want to deal with patients who want to get up; they're just there to collect a paycheck. That's the feeling I got. To add to my unhappiness, the day I went to pick him up to come home, he was supposed to be released at 10 in the morning, and we didn't get to leave until noon. He was still not awake; I have video of how asleep he was. It took two nurses to load him into the car. When I got home, I was crying because I didn't know how we would get him out of the car. Thankfully, my son was home to help me. He didn't wake up until 12:45; I had to sit in the car for 30 minutes until we were able to get him out of the car. And they did not clean the room very well or keep my husband clean enough.

My mom was just released from the rehab at Salem Place in worse condition than when she went in…read more She is in late stages dementia. If I could give negative stars I would. They would take her to the bathroom and leave her so "she could finish" She is 80 years old and we know of twice that this happened while we there, not sure if it happened any other times while we weren't there. Very loud at nurses station, laughing and cutting up. They would just come in drop her tray. They got upset with her for not sitting quick enough on the toilet and she got a little pee on the floor. They were very rough with her at times. We believe she still has a UTI but they wouldn't test her there and we aren't sure if they finished her antibiotics because every time we would ask a question they never had an answer. Some aides were great, most were not. We aren't sure how to take care of her at this point. And they did not help her before discharging her. Would never recommend this place nor put any of my family there again.

The food service is appalling. My husband lost weight every day he was there. They served condensed…read morecream of mushroom soup with every lunch and dinner but didn't know how to prepare it. Frequently it was straight from the can, rarely did they add milk - it was usually water, lumpy and very thin. They couldn't do a diabetic diet at all. The portions were so small, the nurse frequently had to give him cookies to raise his blood sugar to non-dangerous levels. There were very few vegetables and they were cooked to mush. Rarely had bread. Occasionally had canned fruit - never fresh! I don't know who planned their menus but none of them met basic nutritional requirements. The nursing staff, personal care technicians, physical and occupational therapists were wonderful. If you have a loved one here, just plan on bringing all of their meals from home.
