A landscaping design was created and after our review and approval, we were on the schedule rather quickly. A crew of men came, managed by Robert and led daily by Juan. They confirmed the plans and got to work early each day. What's so refreshing is each time something came up that was important, such as retaining wall layout, placement of lights or plants, or a need to adjust plans, our input was needed and respected. Our home looked so ugly before Saluda came out, it was embarrassing, we did not have a sprinkler system, landscaping or lighting and had terrible drainage around the home. Saluda not only has professionals that know what they're doing but they truly care about the job they do and want their clients to be thoroughly satisfied. My family, friends and neighbors are amazed at the transformation of how beautiful our landscaping has turned out: our new sprinkler system bringing efficiency and saving time with watering, gorgeous exterior lighting that highlights our new retaining wall and home, front and side piping, drains and rocks to route water where it's needed and beautiful plants, trees and shrubs to finally make this home stand out. We had a few other local companies come out to give their input and bids and found that Saluda is very reasonable for the scope of work needed. They worked with our budget and the other bids and appreciate our military service with a discount. What was a huge deciding factor aside from price was the responsiveness, the detailed estimate and explanation of work and timeframe. His price was comparable to all of our other quotes, but we chose Southeastern Tree Removal because we trusted Jeremy. We were right in our judgement. We had a large, difficult job. We had 60 large pines surrounding our home on a steep hill to be removed. Some of the pines were 70ft high. Jeremy planned the job well, brought in a log truck to remove the logs, used a caterpillar to push the trees in the direction to fall away from the house, used a dump truck to haul off branches and arrived daily to get the job done. He had several other men helping with chainsaws and driving the vehicles. He even trimmed a hardwood tree that was leaning over a street light and managed to cut it down with ropes giving the very heavy large branches a soft landing. We highly recommend Southeastern Tree Removal for big or small jobs. Our job was in a gated neighborhood on a heavily wooded lot.
