They have two…read moredifferent size laser cutters for wood or glass etching, cricut, 3D Printers/scanners, sublimation printer, UV Printer or Vinyl Printer, Button Maker or Laminator. I'm so impressed with what you can make with their equipment. Nothing looks homemade and all of their staff is topnotch. So helpful and informative. If you haven't been there try it out. The rest of the library is amazing too. I don't have a need for one, but they have private rooms for quiet work. You'll never regret going.

Stop in, or check online for a calendar of events/ classes. The children's/ young adults section is a good size. There is a train table, with tracks that are affixed to it. Trains are long gone, but you are welcome to bring your own. High and low tables are also available in that area. In the summer, computers here are in high demand. Sometimes there is even a sign up sheet. Located off the 275, this is an easy branch to get to. There always seems to be an ample amount of parking. There is also a drive up drop-off slot for returns. Unless you are looking to make a right out of the parking lot, I suggest driving out the back. If you make a left, then another left at the stop sign, that will take you to a light. Make a left to get to the freeways.

They yell & use vulgar language when using the computers to play games. Don't get me wrong, it's nice they're at the library doing something productive. But they are so obnoxious. & complaining to the staff does nothing. I usually never complain, but this time I did because it's very frequent. I go here about 3-5 times a week & he usually comes & it's been the same issue for months. I only said something today because clearly nobody ever does. & when I did complain, the worker stated they don't rally have a volume policy. Like what? You need to have something because this is a library after all & yelling like you have no sense is unacceptable. Step outside if you want to do all that. Definitely won't be back here because you can't even hear yourself think smh.

The kids section is incredible and offers tons of play and learning opportunities. It's like a full play place but free and clean and quiet. We used the printing which worked seamlessly and checked out 12 books for our child. There were several librarians able to help, study rooms and a maker space. I cannot say enough about how huge, beautiful, and clean this branch is-- and how many resources are inside for all to enjoy! Love the CHPL so much.

They have tons of flexible seating, including several booths and I believe 4 private study rooms. There are plenty desktop computers available, even some in the children's section. The children's section has a nice little play area. The bathrooms are well maintained, free feminine hygiene products available and a changing table. They have a Makerspace, copy/fax/scan center, several self-checkout kiosks, and a laptop checkout kiosk. I personally love all the natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. They also have a few monthly book clubs and several kids events.

The service was really nice. There are a lot of older books and not as many newer books. I did think that the sections were well organized and alphabetized so it made it easier to search through. The prices were good as well. It's a nice place to come and browse and look for a hidden gem of a read.

If you need more than the allotted 20 copies, you can swipe a card to pay for the additional prints.

Not a great place to hang out and read; however, there is a nice park right across the street that has benches and nice open field. Now THAT could be a nice place to read on a beautiful day.

There is a little shopping center with easy parking. There are a few restaurants I haven't tried yet, but there is something about the pizza at Century Inn that keeps me going back. In 1851, 30 people came together to purchase 600 acres (former farms of Edmund Glenn & John Riddle…read morewhom the village is named after) and formed the Glendale Association. The land was located along the line of the Hamilton, Cincinnati and Dayton Railroad. The town was planned, lots were sold and the first house was built in 1852. Glendale is one of the earliest known examples of a planned community. Today, this historic downtown area is worth a stopover if you are in the area. The town is absolutely beautiful and still offers some of the most beautiful and breathtaking homes in the surrounding area...you can only imagine the things they've seen. The village's business district straddles the tracks near Sharon Road. There are restaurants, shops, etc. The town is also known for its black squirrels and is unofficially known as Ohio's black squirrel town. As the story goes (and don't quote me)...the credit for the black squirrels being there goes to businessman Thomas Carruthers III. Back in the 1940s he brought four black squirrels to Glendale from Harbor Springs, Michigan. Squirrels do what squirrels do and reproduced. So, yes...there are still plenty of black squirrels in this area and they are fascinating. If you've never seen one, you may rub your eyes to make sure of what you're seeing the first time...well...you are seeing correctly and not imagining it. The squirrels have become the village's unofficial mascot. In 2005, to celebrate the sesquicentennial of Glendale, the mayor at the time hired a company to create 25 fiberglass black squirrel statues. The folks who owned each statue could decorate them any way they wanted and they were all on display in 2005. Sadly, only 13 can still be seen today. I personally tried to spot as many as I could, but I didn't find all 13. There is supposed to be a map available of where they are located inside the museum in the town square. However, the museum was closed when we visited, but please keep this in mind if you want to seek them all out. I hope they do it again sometime in the future...it's pretty cool. If you find yourself in this area and looking for something to do...this place does not disappoint! Have Fun!

Each spring they partner with Warren County to do a tree sale offering a variety of seedlings for a great price. Beyond things you can purchase these guys offer classes/seminars, and help with erosion, soil issues and much much more. Please check out their website for all the useful tools they offer!
