We bought a large bag of Jon's for $8. Not a big cider fan but I bought a small jug and really liked it! If you love apple cider, theirs is super fresh! Pumpkins are 40 cents a pound, we bought a decent sized one for $5! Nice to support a local farm rather than Kroger. It's not a large barn but it's just right for a quick stop. The chicken is fresh and free of any unnecessary additives. Taking the farm tour was neat and I highly recommend it. However, Sunset Ridge needs to advertise this better. A worker came by on a vehicle to tell us this information and returned our politeness with rudeness. She snappily said "I don't care" when we explained that we weren't actual photographers, just some girls with a camera. This "farm" needs to clean up its act!

I'm pretty sure that this building used to be a place that sold lighting fixtures and parts, so the bulbs seem appropriate. I don't know why Hamilton is so into origami, but whatever. It's neat. At first I thought they were cranes and bats but then I found out I don't know anything about origami and that they're swallows "foreshadowing spring." Thinking they are bats is way different than swallows foreshadowing spring. The more I learn the names of murals in Hamilton, the more it seems they are titled to try to alleviate people who fear losing their city to the sort of people who make murals. And the people who make murals are paying homage to the history of the city with bright color pallets. Anyway, I forgot to say this is from the Street Spark team here in Hamilton. I cannot say enough about what a great local community this is! From the outlying neighborhoods, to…read morethe cute and historic downtown, there is a place for everyone. They hold wonderful yearly events, weekly farmers markets in the summer, and have recently introduced a DORA (designated outdoor drinking area). There are many local businesses that have pride in their community and strongly support eachother. When downtown suffered a fire, that sadly damaged several businesses, the community truly stepped up. When a recent flood infiltrated several buildings, the neighbors jumped into action! There are gorgeous parks, and the bike trail runs through here. Downtown has free parking in many areas (some with time limits). Police and fire contribute greatly to the strength of this community. It is a safe city. The chamber of commerce has a great presence as well. I managed a business in this city for a while and the people really make it a special place. Could I continue to gush about it? Sure! But the best way is for you to check it out for yourself!
