None of the stuffiness that you might expect from a classic library. With open stacks and lots of well organized books, this is a bright and clear space. There are a bunch of study desks along the huge windows. Most of them have power outlets nearby which is helpful because the library also has a free and unfiltered wifi. While you do need to be a resident to borrow books, no account is needed for Internet access. I found two or three books I liked, taking two of them to a comfy seat to ensure that they were what I wanted. Checkout is super easy and completely unattended. I'm very pleased with this branch! The kid area isn't that big but does seem to be about 1/3 of the library. They don't have a lot of dress up or play areas but they have a lot computers. We had a large group so we had to double up on the computers. I found some good books to check out and a few movies also. The staff was pretty helpful but even though they are on the other side of the computers they seem be a little ways away from the kids area. The restroom is on the other side of the branch away from the kids area. The branch is clean and was very quiet. It was a rainy day during our visit. He has always been a very shy kid, and school experience was challenging for him. All the school staff were extremely attentive and helpful during his transition period. His first teacher, Ms Megan, always hugged him when he came and spoke in soft voice to make him feel comfortable. I was amazed how my son changed in the school. I couldn't believe my eyes when after a couple of months I saw him running from the car to go to school! It's also impressive to see all creative and development activities they do. My son learned all his letters and numbers, he learned shapes and colors even before going to the next age group. Most importantly, he learned to love making art and create! Ms Crystal and Ms K from his next age group are incredible, they both know each child very well and have individual approach to each of them. We had to leave the school after moving to another state, and now I have a very challenging task to find another place with such a warm and loving atmosphere and great teachers, like in Goddard School in Concord.

This library was exactly what I needed! It's easy to access, with handicap-accessible pathways and a convenient one-level layout. Inside, it was clean, quiet, and welcoming; except during the occasional (and adorable) toddler reading sessions. Reserving a private study room was super easy--just scan the QR code to reserve, and a librarian unlocks the door when it's your turn. The WiFi was free and reliable, the bathrooms were spotless, and I appreciated that they allowed me to bring in water and my morning coffee.
