I'm in town because my parents have been at the hospital for a week without an opportunity to launder any clothes. The nurses didn't have recommendations for a laundromat and also continued to say the area by the Ascension hospital was dangerous. On Yelp, I found this business. With most of the reviews good, I had some hesitancy since they were from a handful of years ago. Needless to say, I was more than surprised by the professional service, clean facility, and very pleasant atmosphere. There is a sitting area; clean, single use bathroom; and a kids space. The location is conveniently close to the freeway. It is well lit with lots of natural light. You can pay with the attendant, quarters, or use and app. I would recommend this to my elderly parent or young niece. Great space to do laundry! read more

I've been doing my laundry at the Oliver location since it opened, and can honestly say that it's the absolute cleanest laundry that I've used since the big laundry that I used in Moscow, Russia, when I was stationed there with the Department of Defense (now Department of War) in the mid 1990's. It was a great way to meet the everyday people of Russia... who are very nice and love Americans, BTW! FYI, Sharon, the floors are ALWAYS clean enough to eat off of!!! read more

I just recently moved to the Wichita area two days ago with my family. Our appliances havent come in yet and we were in desperate need of washing our clothes. I have three boys who are constantly playing outside so you know how it gets. We live nearby so this was the laundromat we chose to go to. Never in my 41 years of living have I experienced such outrageous laundry services. I've been to a few laundromats in my time and this was by far the worst. The customer service was decent but other than that there isnt much to praise. The prices are too much for laundry. Like girl your running a laundromat not a michelin star restaurant. On top of that the washers didnt do a good job at taking out the stains in my boys clothing and the dryer barely dried them, but I guess that should be expected from a laundromat in Wichita. I think the worst part about this experience is the filth of the place. I noticed faint yellow stains by the machines and even roaches moving around. How absolutely vile. My husband works as a regional health inspector so trust I've already told him about this place. Disgusting. read more

Not only are the prices outrageous (extra money just for warm water, who thought that was a good idea?) but also after extra rinsing and drying at $9-$12, I have a photo of a shirt that will curl your hair. As a travel nurse who lives out of a converted van, I dont have consistent ways to wash/dry my clothes in new cities. The Laundry Station is a great spot in Wichita to do your laundry. The building in general is clean; the machines look to be well taken care of. And they seem to have staff throughout the day so questions/help can be taken care of easily. This place is great. We just moved to town and our washer didn't survive the move. So we had to have a good, reasonable, clean and safe place to take care of our laundry. This place came up on yelp, it looked clean from pictures and it was right off of the highway. So my husband and I decided to give it a try. It was very clean. The prices were very reasonable. They had staff on hand that you can even pay for the service for them to do your laundry for you. The following week I wanted to try a different laundromat that was closer to our home and open 24/7. It was big, it was packed and it was not nearly as clean or safe feeling. So on our last week to use the service we went right back to The Laundry Station. They are pleasant and helpful. There are even snacks you can purchase. There is a change machine for your coin convenience. And they sell laundry detergent and fabric softners. Overall, this is a great place. We are going through a house remodel with a 9 month old baby and had an anticipated week that we would be living without a washer/dryer so we rationed our clothing as such. One week turned into 10 days and then we were told at 3pm on day 10 that in fact it would be another week until they'd be installed. I briefly considered hand washing a weeks's worth of clothes for 3 people or trying to entertain the baby at a laundromat for a couple of hours but landed on seeking out a wash and fold place with FAST turnaround.   The Laundry Station was the 3rd company I called and the only one that could offer faster than 24 hour turnaround time.  Sold! I was desperate - my son was down to his last onesie and my husband needed work clothes for the next day.  I dropped 2 loads of laundry off around 4pm and they said it could be picked up 7am next day.   Everyone working there was very nice, the clothes got cleaned and I could stop panicking. I didn't ask what the rush charge was when dropping off.  In hind sight I probably could have purchased a pack of onesies for the kid, undies for the adults, and a brand new bath towel at target for less to get us through the week.  But like I said, I was desperate, they were there for me in my time of need and did exactly what I asked of them.  Great service. read more

How come no one has left a review for this gem yet? I found myself on a month long business trip and it became time to clean things up. Sitting and staring at the (less than clean) hotel washer/dryer is not how I want to spend my day, and with what the room service laundry charges...I might as well just buy new clothes. I found this place and they advertised drop off service. For about a buck and a half a pound, they'll wash, dry, hang & fold. Same day service too (unless you're bringing in a truckload). This place was clean and shiny, pretty new looking and the ladies running the place are as nice as can be. Everything came back looking great - I'm highly recommending them. read more

This laundromat has a pick up, drop off, and self service option. I only used the self service option. It was unimpressive. They have no active mask policy during COVID. Most customers were without masks and an employee wore a mask below the nose. I noticed several dead flies on the floor in the sitting area. The machine I used did not clean well. (I chose the 10 load sized machine at $12 for washing 2 comforters.). I also waited through the full "extra heat" cycle on the dryer. When I was done, my blankets were still damp. I don't like wasting $14 and 75 minutes. For a comfortable wait, good washers, and fast drying, I prefer Spring Clean for self-service. read more

I only use laundry matt's. To wash my comforters. I have been to many different ones in wichita, this is THE BEST by far. Very clean, never seen any roaches or other creepy crawlers like most of the laundry matt's here in wichita. And they take credit/debit cards. You don't have to get a bunch of quarters. We stopped here while traveling through the area. Everything is clean & the folks are super helpful. They seem to have everything you might need & their machines run off of an app (Speed Queen). So, no need for quarters and you can track the progress of your loads thru the app. If we lived nearby, this would be my go-to. read more

On my third visit to the Laundry Station on Oliver, I had 6 big bags of dirty clothes. The parking lot was almost full, but I was still in and out in just over an hour costing just over $20.00. They have so many different sizes of machines there are always some available, so no waiting. It is a new and very clean establishment with friendly people that will help if needed. For a convenient, clean and spacious place to do laundry, I will be going back to save money and time. I would recommend The Laundry Station to everyone. read more

I wanted to actually speak to the owner directly by email and I sent a message through chat to that affect but no one ever contacted me so I'm commenting here. I started About 9 AM Doing my laundry. I had a massive amount of laundry and spent a lot of money there as well as a lot of time The workers checked on me throughout the day to make sure that I was OK because it was it was very hard and I didn't have any help. I wish I could remember their names because they were very awesome. It was extremely exhausting. I Used the application to to work with the washers and dryers and there were bugs in the app which added to the frustration. The workers did a great job keeping everything clean and nice and I felt no pressure to get things done and I work steadily through the day and as fast as I could. Some of the washers worked better than Others. I give kudos to the day staff they were excellent.For some reasonWhile I was there my shoes built upA black substance on the bottom of them of them and it looked like I had walked through an oil slick. I never left And went outside. I can only imagine that it was reacting to the animal Fat in the soapThat floats in the air. It got pretty bad towards the end And after they had left there was quite a mess of footprints In my little island of clothing baskets. I felt badly about it but there was nothing I could do except keep doing my laundry so I could get out of there.The new shift came on a man called Mack. He was quite a different story than the day shift.. I had my 1st dealing with him I'm calling to find out find out what days would be slower than others. He was rude and said how should I know I don't work those Days. The day shift all wore smocks and they were well groomed. Mack was not.He didn't wearva smock and his shirt was not completely pulled over his stomach. He looked like he just rolled out of bed. No smock. His hair and clothes were a mess. By the time he came in I was extremely exhausted. What was worse than anything was to look up and see him walking past with an extremely disgusted look on his face upon viewing the black footprints from my shoes directed at me. He continued to make me uncomfortable by periodically strolling slowly by with an empty basket. At one point he leaned on the closest washer to me with a rag in his hand just staring at the mess. Could he be anymore obvious? I pay attention to people and I didn't appreciate his behavior at all. I was struggling badly at this point and that made me feel even worse. I know that it needed to be cleaned up and i would not have minded had he asked if he could move my baskets out of the way so he could clean but he chose to hover instead. I was not imagining it. I was not because he hopped right on cleaning the area as soon as I got some of the baskets out of his way. I really resent being treated that way by him. The others had a great attitude at work. He did not. He is not doing this company any favors and I am sure I am not the only one to be treated poorly by this man. This will not keep me from coming back as I have had excellent experiences there before but that man needs to be spoken to about his appearance and professionalism.
