Long overdue! We held ur wedding here august 7th. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception. Fairly priced even had ice on site! Very accommodating and friendly staff. Andy and the janitors are wonderful! . They really do help to make your event special and easy. I loved that they made extra sure to keep traffic clear from the walk way during our ceremony. If your interested in the venue but unsure of the path way don't be! people are pleasant and polite. never had much foot traffic or any problems anyway. Parking way a breeze. We rented upstairs area for kiddos and getting ready. Really wonderful photo opportunities, especially because the park is down the street. We took our group photo there! They gave us plenty of space for our vendors parking lot and all patio areas. The lights inside are disable we never got around to it but it was very pretty. We used 14 tables and all rectangles and belly bars. The ceremony was so cute and perfect for our party. We had 125 ppl. Everything fit perfectly nobody felt squished, which during cover was very appreciated. We were able to get into a few weeks before and set tables up to see where we wanted all of them. eased the stress of seating arrangements. All The French doors to the venue , overlooking the water were just perfect. I was worried the 2 bathrooms weren't going to be enough but we had no problems all night. We got our full deposit back, that only happened cuz we had family that helped us clean up afterwards BUT its a fairly easy clean up just be sure to tell whoever cleaning CHECK THE LIST! Andy worked with us every step of the way, and there was zero hassle when we had to reschedule due to Covid. The venue is nice, and the view looking out to the water was exactly what we wanted. Look, I rarely rave about places, but I really had to send a note about this place. It is a HIDDEN GEM! I searched for about 3 months for the perfect venue for a Surprise Party for my father and about 100-125 friends. We were referred this place by a friend, and after checking in with them, we realized their flexibility and rental policies were perfect for what we had in mind. Despite living in Los Angeles everyone from their staff made it easy to set everything up. They have a very clear brochure that lists pricing and options for rental depending on the day. I do recommend booking as far out as possible-- since the prices are great the place tends to fill up on Friday and Saturdays. Big bonus items that make the costs of this place beat out any other local hotel or venue: - Allowed to have alcohol and hire your own licensed bartenders - Allowed a DJ without the worry of disturbing hotel guests or immediate neighbors (within reason) - Free parking for guests--including overnight parking, if needed--which makes safety a lot easier to think about - Tables and chairs on-site--hello, fewer overall rental costs! The space is two floors--we only rented the bottom floor, but I can easily see the space becoming a palace if you needed more room. Multiple entrances downstairs makes it easy to create the layout you want inside. There is also relatively minimal décor which means you can transform the space however you'd like. The kitchen downstairs really made prepping the food stations easy--it was also a great place to hide away any prep items. While downstairs does NOT have a permanent, built-in bar like upstairs, they do provide a movable, professional bar that makes the space more customizable. Day-of support is great--there if you need them and not around if you want privacy. They offer ice on-site for your needs which means there is very little you'd need to make runs to the store for (hopefully). Overall, highly recommend this venue! read more

The LCT Bayside Pavilion was so wonderful to us! Sue the manager, doesn't have a bad bone in her body! She was very accommodating and her customer service is incredible. She answered all my questions over the phone and was even nice enough to let me stop by a few times to measure the room. She even blocked off some parking spaces just so I can have jumpers outside! Also, the gentleman who helps run the facility was so friendly. When I met him the day of the party he said, "this is my number, it's on the glass door. Please feel free to call me for anything at any time" I'm telling you, those two are such a team!! LCTBP is very clean and it has 2 bathrooms. They provide you with chairs (even though I didn't use those), round/rectangular tables and a mini bar downstairs. The place has A/C and the view is incredible. My guest didn't have not one single problem at this venue. I will say this, the woman with the blonde hair was very rude to me. When I showed up to measure the room (sue had gave me permission the day before to come) she said "okay" and continued gossiping on the phone with someone. Made me wait about 5 minutes then finally said "hold on, I'm going to open the door for someone" open the door for me and just went back to her conversation. I couldn't even ask her question because I already felt like I was bothering her. She was also the one who took my payment and was a little upset that I didn't know how to write a check. The only reason I'm not taking any stars away because sue makes up for her. I'm telling you, she's very sweet!! I will defiantly book another event at LCTBP. read more

Andy and his team were so easy to work with for our wedding this past weekend. Very accommodating, friendly, and at a fantastic price! I must've emailed Andy over a dozen times through my wedding planning process and he stayed responsive and helpful through the entire process. The venue is so nice and when decorated even nicer! We had our small wedding here in November 2016. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful, all our guests were amazed of the location. My wedding coordinator even set up to have her baby shower here! As a local of Chula Vista this was the perfect setting for our wedding. Thank you to everyone at the Chula Vista California Yacht Club! It's a perfect venue for different occasions, but keep in mind it is for small size parties our guest count was around 130. They have two restrooms located inside of the venue, but also can accommodate to the outside restrooms. There's plenty of parking at the venue. There's a small kitchen as well. Everything was recently renovated and updated, you won't be disappointed. read more

I had 2 months and and a very tight budget to plan my perfect wedding and reception. I searched EVERYWHERE! Til I just happened to stumble across this place. I was feeling the stress one day and wanted to go sit at the park then BOOM this beautiful hall was right in front of me! When I tell you this staff is the kindest, nicest and happiest people you will meet, it is not an exaggeration! The prices at the LCT Bayside Pavilion are very affordable and the staff is very flexible. We got the hall from 8am-12am and the best part, we got to go in a day early to decorate (this is not a guarantee, the hall was not rented the day before our event so we were able to do so) this took away soooo much stress and I swear to you I was not a bridezilla!! Honestly, this place is so beautiful being near the water and being able to see all the yachts, you will not need to do too much decorating. Rented this place for our baby shower recently, it was overall great experience and would definitely recommend and be interested in renting this venue for future events. Sue is great, communication is easy and she is very prompt and responsive. The venue is in a convenient location, beautiful views and setting, ample parking to accommodate guests. We rented the downstairs portion of the venue only for approximately 150 guests. We rented an additional 2 rectangular tables to accommodate for our food set up and had room along the walls to set this up. We had taco catering and the outside BBQ area was perfect for setting this up. We had a few issues during our event that were inconvenient that could be improved. We were advised we would be provided supplies as needed, someone would be available for maintenance issues etc. Quite a few times that we needed items or issues with bathrooms we could not find the designated contact person. The handle on the interior restroom would not work in one of the bathrooms and was not fixed and finally gave out completely, this became quite an inconvenience with 150 guests trying to use one restroom. We were advised we had access to the exterior restrooms but they were locked and required access card to open, which we were not provided. The gates were closed at 6pm our guests could not enter the parking lot or exit, i had 4 cars lined up waiting to go out and our party was going until 10pm that night so I had few guests trying to enter. I had to wait to get a hold of the on site contact but there was no number to call him at or specific location at which to find him. Finally gates and restrooms were open and that issue was resolved. We needed trash bags for clean up and that was another search. It would be much more convenient if the on-site person had a contact phone where we could call. Overall, the staff is very friendly, kind, nice and I don't consider these inconveniences huge considering our event went fairly well and the many pros with the venue. You get the venue by 10am, you turn it in by midnight, location, views, set up, space, nice staff, on-site ice available for purchase, etc. Ideally, Gates and restrooms unlocked and easier communication with on-site person would make it bit smoother. I was trying to plan a surprise party for my mother with an extremely tight budget and very little time. I came across the Chula Vista Yacht Marina and it literally saved my life. Sue, the manager, was very kind and super helpful with the entire process. Definitely talk to her when if you are planning to have a party here. The venue is perfect for many different types of events. They leave it very clean and stocked up and have someone periodically checking in to empty trash cans and stock toilet paper. It is a pretty large room and had 2 decent sized bathrooms as well as a little kitchen prep area. For being my first and last party I plan, the staff was so kind and helpful which made the process a lot easier and more fun for me.
