She then offered a 20% refund and asked me to change my review, which I again declined. She claimed that despite paying for full event planning services, the event was subpar because I hadn't been involved in planning it. They didn't call. They didn't ask me to go their warehouse. They didn't do anything until the week of the event, when they tried to fit me into their random available times to walk them through my space via FaceTime. To clarify, I paid $2,000 for someone to plan and orchestrate an event. What I received was maybe a $200-$300 setup, and it's apparently my fault for not planning the event I paid someone to plan. She argued that I should have requested changes during the setup. However, I wasn't home at the time. The whole point of hiring this service was to arrive at a fully set-up event with my guests. When I arrived, they were still setting up as my guests were arriving (even though they were supposed to have been gone by then). So, there wasn't time to make changes, and it would have been an awkward conversation anyway. Instead of blaming me, they should have done the job they were paid to do or not sold the package in the first place. To add insult to injury, she compared this situation to eating a pizza and then requesting a refund. This was over $2k. It's not even close to ordering a pizza and asking for a refund. She ripped me off. I stand by my request for a full refund. She should have offered that refund on her own. This event was pitiful. I will never use their services again or recommend them to anyone.

However, when I went in to inquire pricing it was very straightforward and with no hidden fees. This alone kept my interest after shopping around for months. The package was affordable and mostly all inclusive ( I was responsible for cake and booze). It was a bonus that Tanya was a great communicator, patient (I had A LOT of questions) and flexible. My deciding factors for the 5 stars are as follows: 1. Bartender and Captain: Pablo, the bartender, was a sweetheart! He engaged with my guests, was always smiling and was very polite. Not only did he make sure that my husband and I were taken care of but he also made sure my guests all felt like VIP's. I appreciated the professionalism in also ensuring that there was no underage drinking. Captain Robert, ensured that the dinner service ran smoothly and offered to heat up the water for my Maruchan bar. He maintained professionalism, kindness and made sure I didn't need anything throughout the night. 2. Security: Leo was truly remarkable. He played so many roles beyond security (which he did a great job at). He helped in so many ways and handled business so that I can enjoy my daughter's party from the beginning, the middle to the end of the night. He maintained another level professionalism. My sister even mentioned how he went out of his way to help unload items for our Maruchan bar from her car at some point. Leo also made sure my husband always had a drink in hand. All the while being polite and professional when he had to cut off one of my guests who had a little too much fun. 3. Food and Cake: Just Wow! All my guests were raving about it days after the party. We had the Cesar Salad, Cordon Blu Chicken, with the German Potatoes, and Alfredo Pasta (yes, we love our carbs!). For my vegetarian guests, they served vegetable lasagna. I ended up ordering cake through the venue for an additional fee and it did not disappoint. Guests were also raving about it. We ordered the white cake with strawberry filling and the other flavor was Marble with Bavarian. 4. The flexibility: I loved that the venue was flexible and allowed me to bring in my own vendors from my Photo Booth, Shot Cart, Paleta Cart, Merch Stand, Maruchan bar and Tosti bar. 5. Decor: I will be honest, I wasn't crazy about the options for the decor however, Tanya and her team made it work and brought our vision to reality. Again, she was very patient with me during the planning process. 6. DJ: After reading the reviews, I was nervous. However, he had people on the dance floor all night and to me that is a win and even had lights and balloons to keep the party going. My only caveat is that for my daughter's picture slideshow, he played the brindis song over the song she had originally chosen. However, this may have been a slight miscommunication. Other than that, he was a great MC/DJ. 7. The photographer and videographer: I hired their in house photographer for an additional fee. I did not catch the photographer's name and I have yet to see the photos so I will update this once we get them. They said it would take about 4-6 weeks. We are on week 4. Videographer: He showed up on time and had great ideas for the video. He maintained professionalism and everything ran smoothly. We are still waiting on the video, I will update this when I receive it. Overall, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that your evening runs smoothly. The first was to go over the incredibly helpful planning materials TLC provided, where we shared our ideas for food and décor. Kirin not only listened but gave us excellent vendor recommendations. Every time I reached out after that, she was quick to respond with thoughtful advice, which I deeply appreciated. The second meeting was for final details, and Kirin went above and beyond, staying an extra 30 minutes to make sure everything was just right. She even handled an unexpected fire drill with ease, truly going to bat for her brides. Little did we know, that wouldn't be the last "fire" she'd put out for us! As a DIY bride, some of my décor didn't quite go as planned due to the wind. Kirin and her team were quick to jump in and fix everything, making it look beautiful. The biggest mishap of the day was our 8-foot floral arch snapping in half. Instead of apologizing and moving on, the TLC team cut the floral noodles off and attached them to a wooden arch provided by the venue, all while I continued to live my stress free life of getting pampered. She kept me updated which I also appreciated so that there were no surprises. On top of that, Kirin's team ensured everything ran smoothly--from paying vendors and sticking to the timeline to keeping us fed, hydrated, and stress-free. They even made sure no one got too rowdy and cleaned everything up so we could simply enjoy our day. All we had to do was return the next morning to pick up our décor. My only regret is that I only get one wedding! But for any event--whether it's a wedding, corporate gathering, or anniversary--I highly recommend TLC. They are the best of the best!

I paid the deposit after agreeing on a design and confirming date/ time/ location. Although the invoice says final payment is due 24 hours before the event, they asked me to pay in full several days early (so I did). After that, they changed my design and sent a new design mock-up to me on THE MORNING of my event. I was told it was due to an accident. What could I say? I had already paid in full and my party was in a few hours. Payment is via zelle so there was no purchase protection. The colors of my backdrop changed, lights changed, colors and amounts of flowers, and much more changed. They didn't fulfill my order that included additional lights on two of the stands and a photobooth with personalized frame. My name was misspelled on the frame- If she didn't say she would fix it, this would be less irritating. But she told me she'd fix it quickly. It has been a week since my birthday party and still not fixed. She then left the set up and said she'd come back to finish my lights before my party then didn't. She instead texted me that she was in Vista and wouldn't be coming back. She also was going to come move my photo booth for the dance portion of my event then didn't. I'm unsure why she'd promise a customer something, then not follow through. Then ghost me after the event when I'm asking for a finished photos product. The frames still are solid white, no design. It was my 50th Birthday let down. All the while posting on Instagram all of the other events they are doing. It's not good customer service. Didn't offer me any consolation or discount for the many last minute changes and for not following through on the photos that she said she would. I paid $750 for a backdrop and photo booth that was supposed to have a personalized photo frame. So much changed, it felt like it was handing someone $750 and just taking whatever they gave me. Not fair. I would not recommend.

From the start Will, who signed us up, was most helpful and really knew his information. We clicked instantly and it was such a pleasure to talk with him and meet him in person. We signed up for the tasting before signing with Abbey Catering and that was such a great experience. We got to meet Will in person and there was so much food to try and luckily bring home. After meeting Will we really had a great feeling and signed up within that week. The food was incredible at the tasting, and it was hard choosing which entrée and hours d'oeuvres to choose from since everything was so good. Chuck, our wedding coordinator, was beyond great and so helpful. He was such an asset to have on our side and really made the day go smooth. He was also so friendly and great to work with. We really felt like we made friends with our Abbey team There were absolutely no hiccups whatsoever and I was so calm the whole day. David, our catering lead, was another amazing team member. He was right there to offer us food first and make sure we had enough of our share. The rest of the catering team always made us a priority too and I was very hungry after the ceremony in between pictures so that was so great. We ordered the following for tray passed hors d'oeuvres: petite beef wellington, wild mushroom arancini, bruschetta, and bacon wrapped stuffed dates. We opted for the dual entrée of the boneless short ribs, and the panko-herb crusted chicken with vegetables and the truffle smashed potatoes. All were so good and I wish I could eat them all again Our guests could not stop raving about the food. They even made dietary restriction meals for several of our guests, and they said it was one of the best vegan/vegetarian meals they have ever had. We really were impressed with the food and so glad we went with Abbey as that was important for us to have really good tasting food. We opted for the whole package with their vendors for flowers, DJ, photographer, and cake. Best decision ever!!! We had Emerald and Ivy for the florist and my goodness Mishele, and the Abbey team put together exactly what I pictured in my mind! Such beautiful flowers and we rented bud vases and candles from her. DJ Abel from the Wedding Entertainment Collective was beyond amazing! He played our songs and knew the vibes we were going for. The dance floor was a hit, and our guests were dancing the whole night. Everyone was telling us the DJ was so good! Misha, our photographer, was amazing and made us feel so comfortable. The pictures are so beautiful! The cake and mini cupcakes from Sugar Bears Sweet Provisions were out of this world! I'm so glad we saved our wedding cake because we ate it the next day. Our guests loved the mini cupcakes too and we even had enough to give out at treats and take home. We really are so grateful we decided to go with Abbey catering. They really went above and beyond. Petr checked in on us throughout the night, made sure we always had what we needed, saved appetizers and champagne for us during cocktail hour, and made sure we never missed a moment.
