Had two kids go through this program, and let me tell you, the learning experience was an amazing experience for both my children. From fun activities like water play during the Summer on Fridays to cute little project's the kids make for us parents, this place has it all. Absolutely love this center. I'm a first time mom who was looking for a clean, safe and fun environment for my baby. He joined the infant room and has loved it since the day he started. He is all smiles when we get to school and he loves his teacher. We are greeted with wonderful energy every morning. I really appreciate the teachers being so warm and welcoming. I also love the app. It provides me with updates and pictures throughout the day so I am able to see how my baby is doing. Definitely a wonderful center to send your little ones. read more

I took my daughter here for the first time yesterday. First, I had a good vibe the place was near home and looks very well maintained and clean.Teacher (Mo) in Tdwaller A classroom seems nice. Second day, I went into her classroom teacher didn't realized I was outside taking a look. My child was the only one crying inconsolable for some time, all her face red covered in a blanket (unable to breathe) and the teacher shutting her mouth from the other side saying shhhh (instead of consoling her or asking for help to take her out of the room since she was up already).New kids need to adjust, they need time, compassion and patience. If you are not willing to provide care as you supposed to then change careers and do not do it anymore. I felt so bad for my baby my heart broke when I saw her face and she saw me saying mommy ! (like help me). after an hour I ask her to go back to the kids (daycare) she said no mommy ! thats a red flag right there. As a working mom who do not have any other option to pick a daycare is very hard to find a place but we trust the facility, the staff to take care of our kids. For this reason, I feel the obligation to do this review so parents are aware.The owner was very kind to call and apologize however I am not sending my kid or recommending this place to anyone. I can't talk for other teachers who are passionate and dedicated to their job in this place but I do not feel safe anymore so I am taking her out. Pls always go unexpected and check how your kids are doing. This service is not free neither cheap and we deserved to have the best experience not traumatized our babies ! read more

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE! After the investigation by the childcare, counsel licensing they were at fault for restraining my toddler to a highchair at 18 months! A little back story- my son started at TLE in Antioch and the 1ts day he cried, I told the director please CALL ME if he won't stop. She did 40 min later. My toddler was 18 month and the have door handles that you pull down to open and the kids can reach. (Smart smh) anyways my boy knows how to open the door. Next day, new class she said leave him longer or he won't get comfortable, so I did. Maybe 3 hours this time. When I went to pick him up he was strapped to the highchair screaming, swearing and slamming his body back and forth! This was their way of controlling him! The originally had him on the carpet in the highchair so I can't tell you how long within the 3hrs they had him in there! I told her how dangerous that was and how he could have hurt himself. Told the director, pulled him out and asked her if they had cameras, she said yes. I said good! Make didn't know I was going to call childcare licensing on her so they came in with that week and supposedly they did not have any footage of the incident! There is so many lazy ass teachers or aids there, that don't greet parents or even smile! One teacher was yanking a little toddler up from the floor by her arm right infont of me! I reported that also, they denied it to CCL and I couldn't prove it. And even in the infant room, the babies lay their crying! My son is 2.5 and still won't trust anyone I regret sending him to school to try to interact with kids! This school ruined him! read more

My boys Cai & Zi have been coming here for a little over a year now and we, as a family, love it! My boys have grown tremendously since attending and all the staff members and teachers take an interest in us and our children. Genuine love and connections being made here! Cai's speech has improved so much since attending and our youngest, Zi, is exceeding his milestone expectations as expressed by his pediatrician. Very happy with TLE at this location. They even occasionally put in events for the parents (like date night) where they'll stay open later allowing busy parents to take an evening out for themselves. My only critique, more of those please! Petting Zoo's, daily pics, in-app updates, book fairs, our boys are getting an excellent experience here! read more

Tried to schedule a tour, with a start of November. Spoke with Tanya, when asked if there would be room in November, response was we won't know until then. She said I should pay enrollment and tuition until November when we move to the area if we wanted a spot. Most daycares prefer to have advance notice of a child starting. We will only be in town for a few hours on Friday, before I schedule tours during our short time in town, I needed to see if there was even going to be availability. Couldn't even get that answer out of her, unless I wanted to commit to paying. I tried asking additional questions, she cut me off every time and finally I just said, well, I guess we won't be working together. She said, in a flippant/sarcastic tone, "I guess not" and hung up on me. This frustrating because we've heard such good thing about TLE. Tanya is rude and thankful I caught this attitude before choosing this school. read more

My Children are so happy to get dropped off in the morning. In the evening when I pick them up they come out holding hands with :-) faces. My husband and I can tell they had a wonderful day. I am so blessed to find this place. The daycare is so cute & kid friendly! smells clean, teachers are great, it's safe in many different ways. Trash tank is away from school. Kids have privacy, with tall fence to prevent "louitering". Play area is safe, play structure is fun and simple, clean turf, additional grass area thats cut short for older kids to play basketball, soccer, etc. I toured a few daycares because I wanted something closer to home but this daycare is worth my drive. My 1 year old & 2.8 year old are learning fast. On their first day they started talking more and pronouncing words more clear. My 1 year old wakes up saying "school". My son can't stop saying "I like school mama". Today was their 5th day. They still cry a little at drop off and pick up but they both like going back to "school". I was worried because they have only known "mom" for the most part and are very attached to me. Due to covid they also haven't interacted much with other kids but they seem to be interacting now. I can't wait to continue seeing their growth at The Learning Experience. Another thing to add on, their app keeps me at peace. They post their diaper changes, their meals, sleep time, pictures. I am only giving 2 stars for one really unfortunate event that has taken place 6/14/2021 with the site Director Ms. Tawnya Archer.... As if September 2021 , my children would've been celebrating they're health anniversary with TLE. Unfortunately, I feel as though I was terribly discriminated against due to a serious health issue that I had absolutely no control over. On Wednesday 6/9/2021, I was admitted to The Sutter Delta Medical Center for a rapid breakdown of myoglobin into my blood which at some point could send me into renal failure ( which I have documentation of). Me being a single mother , I practically have no family here to help with my 2 young boys. I asked my grandmother of 71 yrs old to assist with my children while I, unfortunately had to deal with this sudden onset of issues. She agreed to do it. On Thursday 6/10/21, my boys were left at school for over an hour without my knowledge, which is also extremely unusual for them. I got a call from my weekend babysitter telling me of the issues with my children. I was awaken out of a slumber that I had been pretty much all day. Of course I was upset at this point because I had thought plans were already agreed upon once it came to my boys. Ms. Tawnya was already extremely upset , which I understood b/c she needed to be home with her own family. However, I was PISSED b:c here I am sick in a bed and my kids are left somewhere without care.... I was devastated. Thank God for my weekend childcare for being able to save the day. It's not as if I can just get up and walk out of bed with IV's attached. FastFoward to 6/14/21... at the end of the day, I gave the school a call to speak with Ms, Tawnya regarding the incident and to get a better understanding. She was very rude , condescending and had absolutely no compassion to what I had just endured. Practically 3days before I was unable to even WALK!!!! She told me that I was being rude to her and so I decided to go to speak with her, hoping what I was trying to tell her wasn't taken out of content. As I walked into the school, I asked the ladies if Ms. Tawnya was available to speak , they directed me to her office , in which she said "I'm in here". As soon as I walked into the room , without allowing me a chance to speak , I was told my contract had been terminated effective immediately for no unknown reason..... I hadn't screamed , threatened , or caused a scene! I actually tried to be quiet due to there still being children on campus. But she yelled , wouldn't even give privacy bu closing her door so we can speak properly. I tried to explain my situation of not having anyone to call pretty much and about being a single mother m. Her response was so cold and just like " yeah well so am I" ... REALLY! So she told me in a loud voice to go outside to calm down and speak with her once I wasn't being so aggressive ( which I wasn't ) !!!!! My mother , on the phone wanted to try and speak with her ( lives in a different state ) but she rudely told me she was off work and proceeded to lie in front of a lot of people saying that I was yelling at her in front of her son ( who's bigger than me like 6ft) . Her son at this point is even being antagonistic and saying things to me unnecessarily. She rudely jumped in her car and rode off on me leaving me there in complete shock and tears..... I've never been treated so disgustingly in my life . She told me I should've apologized basically for being in the hospital but why If that's not even something I can control? Just extremely rude to me for no reason. I do t feel that the decision was a just one ..... Other than that , I will say my overall experience with that school so far had been great! I just feel that they should hire more teachers who are compassionate regarding people with special circumstances. It's life ... things happen at times out of our control. But you shouldn't be treated improperly for that though .... I'm hoping there is some owner that I can speak to regarding this incident ... as I am extremely NOT SATISFIED for this issue . read more

As a parent, I have a GIANT checklist of things I look for in a school/childcare system/learning center. Friendly teachers, Safety, Cleanliness, Curriculum, great Playground, healthy food options, security, good administrators, trustworthy staff and my list goes on and on. The Learning Experience here @ Antioch checks EVERY single one of them and then some. The staff is awesome, they really-really care about your child. The play area is fabulous. There is true learning with a much superior curriculum than most (if not all). This school seriously ROCKS. Check 'em out. read more

This child center has a very high turnover rate. There is a new teacher in my sons class every other week it seems like. my child has not got to build any bonds or genuine connections with teachers. He comes to school scared and has no stable routine or class to get use too. read more

All three of my kids go to The Learning Experience and it's not easy to drop your kids off at any daycare for 8 hours a day. I want to say first that the facility is always clean, kid friendly and welcoming. The staff all care about the children. They smile and always say good morning. The curriculum is awesome and I love that my kids don't cry as I walk away. I interviewed 5 daycares in the area before I made my decision and what I will say is The Learning Experience blew the competition out of the water. Thank you to all the staff owner and director for the love you have for my children. We will be clients and fans for years to come. Just a quick note to add had my kids here now a total of 4 months and I can't tell you how impressed with Robin, Tonja and the staff. My 15 month old baby boy has been attending TLC since he was approx. 9 -10 months old with a great big smile (day 1). Everyone here in the Antioch branch has a place in our family. When I leave my child in the morning, I feel as if I'm dropping him off to extended family! This is not just a daycare, every single staff member, management, office personnel and the owner.. watches and cares for my child like he's their own..and they take pride in watching my baby grow and develop as if he were their own. One of the other things I appreciate about TLC is, every time I've thought to self "is time to teach my baby something new", each and every time, is been such a smooth and easy process and I attribute this to them teaching and practicing these things with him, while in their care..beside this ...These caregivers are kind, smart, vibrant, capable, loving, and nurturing. They have an interest in seeing your child grow and learn..and I just can't say enough.. though I'll start by saying Thank You to everyone in the Antioch branch for making it easier for me to leave my baby while I go to work 8-9 hrs a day! When it was time to enroll my kids into a daycare in the East bay I was a little reluctant to do so. With two kids my wife and I wanted them to have a pleasant experience of learning, nurturing and fun. I research long and hard for a place and finally come across TLE. Not only was it close by our house in Antioch but it literally checked all the boxes for us to feel ensuring that this was the right place. Inside is so big it felt like my high school. With a make believe room complete with ball pits and different costumes we knew we needed to spoke to TLE. Aside from the facility being new the staff were caring and interactive with all the students. Their curriculum, age appropriate activities and their special events made TLE a no brainer to drop my kids off at every morning. Parents that are looking for an interactive daycare that involves the parents and provides your kid with social interactions with their peers and STEAM learning TLE is your stop. And I'm not just saying that I really do appreciate every last one of those teachers at that place. read more

The Learning Experience has an amazing staff and excellent curriculum for the kids. I had to resume back to work after my maternity leave and trying to find a daycare I could leave my 5 month old at and feel safe was a big decision. One of the most comforting things for me was that The Learning Experience has a parenting app that lets you know what your child is doing throughout the day. They upload photos and it is so wonderful being able to see what my daughter is doing. Miss Melania is just so fantastic with the infants. She is so happy all of the time and is eager to teach the babies new things every day. The facility is VERY clean and the staff is fantastic. I would highly recommend this daycare and I hope my daughter can continue on through their toddler and pre-school programs. We have had all of our children in other daycares around the town and none of them have been as great as this one. read more

We read about the school in a flyer, yoga, Spanish and of course the fantastical boulevard room! We thought too good to be true but we were wrong. I have 3 children at this facility. Since COVID they have graciously taken in children who are school aged and help them with school work for essential workers. Their facility is top notch and above expectations with a built in sprinkler outside and ball pit inside. Mrs. Hannah is always kind and compassionate and my kids love her. Mrs. Tawyna is quick to listen to any concerns that may arise and make connections to make sure my kids and myself are happy. read more

I'm so happy they opened this school here. Everyone is so friendly, Raja, Robyn, Heather, Chase and especially Melania. When I leave my 8 month old with her I know she genuinely cares about him, and he is always so excited to see her. I feel like he senses that she cares so he never seems to mind when I leave.
