The Learning Experience Chelmsford branch is absolutely fantastic. Our son is in the young infant room with his outstanding teachers, Ms. Janet and Ms. Mariana. Being educators ourselves, we greatly value the thoughtful and engaging curriculum the teachers put together for the children. We also get the most amazing, hilarious, and joyful photos of our kiddo engaged in all sorts of themed crafts and social activities throughout the day. We are so grateful for the incredible care his teachers show him and us every day. We are first-time parents and everything is new to us, so being able to ask questions, get advice, and hear insights into how to best support our son's development has meant the world and given us confidence. We also feel that our son's multicultural identity is welcomed and celebrated here, as Janet and Mariana custom-designed a craft for our son in honor of a holiday we celebrate at home. And can we talk about the tremendous thought and effort they put into their bulletin boards?! Sometimes I get a photo of a craft in the morning, and that same day we see the amazing new educational learning display already hung up. Needless to say, pick-up is our favorite time of day- not just because we get to see our son, but because we get to connect meaningfully with his teachers. It is evident that both Janet and Mariana, as well as the floater teachers who help out in the classroom, show great tenderness, patience, and knowledge when supporting the children. Going back to work after being on parental leave has been incredibly difficult, but it gives us great peace of mind to know our son is in such good hands. read more

My two years old Daughter has been enrolled at this center since she was 9 months old. My new-born son has been enrolled there for a month now, And we just Love it there! My daughter is always happy to be there! she enjoys her time, she learns a lot and brings home very nice art projects since she was an infant! Class rooms (and the whole facility) are very neat and clean. Walls are nicely decorated with Student's art work and projects. Most of the Teachers I've dealt with are nice, happy and caring. We appreciated TLE-Chelmsford even more when we had to move our daughter last year to another day care (another TLE closer to home) but we Couldn't keep her anymore there and moved her back to TLE at Chelmsford within a month! it was really a bad experience compared to TLE at Chelmsford!! I believe the great management is the reason behind their outstanding success! The owner is very friendly open and caring! I believe she knows every Student and Parent by name, She addresses our issues and takes our smallest concerns seriously. I never hesitate to share a request/comment/question with her. Administration team are awesome people! they are very nice helpful and Always greet you with a big smile. I Feel like I'm at my second home :) So everyday I leave my both kids there and I drive 30 miles to work knowing that they're safe and in good hands. My husband and I love it there so much that we have seriously Considered it as a main factor in the process of our current search for a house :) So overall Would I recommend it for you? This place is more than a daycare, it's an extended family, and that's a genuine impression that starts with the director and the owner. My son has been attending this daycare for over two years and he's thriving. TLE has a great curriculum at every stage. As a preschooler my son has had many enriching learning opportunities. My favorite was when his class used beginners microscopes. Which goes to show, they go beyond the minimum of teaching letters and numbers, they also expose children to languages and STEM. My sister is a 1st Grade teacher and is amazed by what my son has learned at TLE! The teachers here truly care about the children which makes a world of a difference. The amount of preparation they put into everything really shows. The facility is always clean and at the end of the day teachers can be seen disinfecting toys, desk, and chairs to name a few. As I read these other two reviews, I'm racking my brain to understand if those reviews could be of the same daycare. My son is 4 and has a hard time taking naps, which often disrupts the other children. Yet his teachers are always understanding that he's only 4, and work something out. So I find it hard to believe that the owner and director would ask a child to leave solely for that reason. But all I can do is speak to my truth and I absolutely love it here. From what I can tell other families do too. I've attended a few birthday parties of other children in my sons class and no one's ever voiced concerns. My daughter has been enrolled at the learning experience in Chelmsford since August of 2015. She is currently 3, and can write her name, recognizes all of the letters of the alphabet, and can spell a handful of words already. I attribute this all to TLE and their amazing staff. My 5 year old also attends during the summer. Both of my girls are happy to be here. I love the security of the building, the school like feel, and I cannot say enough about the staff. The relationship that I have with the leadership is such that I don't hesitate to ask. Whether it's a schedule change, a concern, a special request, I am heard and whatever the issue it is addressed. I noticed a previous review that discussed issues with the owner and tuition, etc. Honestly, there is not a childcare center out there that is not crazy in September. With all of the schedule changes and moving around due to the back to school season, it's to be expected. As for the tuition increase, all parents were notified in early summer, and again if you've ever used any childcare center, it is standard that rates are increased for the new tuition year. Lastly, if you ever sit down and talk to the owner, she is very flexible, open and helpful. She knows every child in the building and most of their parents. She has been awesome to work with. Between my two children, I have used 3 different childcare centers and a nanny. Of the different choices I have made, TLE has been the best choice for my family! read more

My first born who is 8 years-old now started in this center when he was only 3 months old. As a first time mom my heart was shredded by leaving him on his first day but every single teacher around made me feel at peace. I was able to check on him at any time by walking in and see him through the camera and even go into his room to hold him for a few minutes before it was time for me to head back to work. Since day one we felt welcomed and most specially safe knowing that our baby was in great hands and care. For all 5 years of him attending TLE at Chelmsford there is nothing to complain about. He graduated Pre-k with all the tools needed for kindergarten and more. All of the staff is great and there is no words to describe how awesome the directos and owner are. Now we have 3 year-old who keeps us on our toes and is literally the happiest girl every morning when walking into school. To the point where she cries on the weekends because she wants to be in school. (she calls her daycare school :) ) The pure love and care you feel from every staff member from the moment you walk in is indescribable. We now have 35 minutes commute which can be a harsh commute but so worth it because we know that she will not receive the love and care anywhere else. TLE has become our second family and we will forever be so grateful for every staff member who have cared for both of our children. read more

We have been using The Learning Experience in Chelmsford for full-time daycare for the last 7 years. We have two daughters (7 y/o and 2.5 y/o). Our oldest went there from 4 months through Kindergarten and our youngest has also been going there since she was an infant. I can't say enough about the center and its staff. The curriculum is varied and diverse at all levels. My daughter was more than prepared when she went on to public school - both academically and socially. And what I find most remarkable about TLE is that while there is some turnover among the staff, which is to be expected, it is very minimal compared to other centers that I'm aware of. There are so many teachers who have worked at TLE for the majority of the 7 years that we've been there. It is really special for my oldest daughter to reconnect with her former teachers when we pick up her sister. We have found each of the teachers we've had to be warm, caring, invested and trustworthy. Several of the teachers have become very important to my girls' and that means the world to me as a mom. And on more than one occasion over the years, TLE has gone above and beyond for us when we've needed it. As all parents know, one of the hardest things to do is leave your kids in the care of other people, but since my husband and I have to do it, I can't think of another place I'd rather send them. read more

We've been going to TLE for almost 4 years and LOVE IT! The administration staff is the best. There is always a smiling face when you're greeted and when you're leaving. It's an extremely friendly place. The Director takes even the slightest concerns seriously and schedules time with parents as needed. The teachers will always make time to meet with you but it's such a conversational place that updates are provided regularly. The owner cares about the employees and does everything she can to retain the best talent as well as ensure development. We've been to a few other daycare providers and it's a very reassuring experience knowing that the owner and administrative staff want the best for their employees as far as their careers and personal lives are concerned. With 3 kids, we've experienced every stage at TLE - infant through Kindergarten and I can honestly say that I haven't met a teacher who did not exceed my expectations. Our children have all been very well cared for as well as educated. The curriculum was a factor when we made our daycare selection. The highest compliment I can pay to the staff and teachers at TLE is that they have essentially become an extension of our family. read more

My two children attended The Learning Experience in Chelmsford from infant age. My oldest is now in public school and my youngest is still there. The staff have always been so caring and attentive to my children, my son was very shy and didn't easily develop friendships, he was very attached to mommy but his teachers always made an effort to help him find his words and help me feel comfortable leaving him there. I was able to call thru the day and they took the time to let me know how his day was. He developed many friendships and I know he loved all his teachers. He is now exceeding in public school and the teachers tell me he must've had great teachers as he already knows what they are teaching !! My daughter is still there and she loves going to school everyday, drop offs are easy as she is very social and her teachers are always helpful and fill her little heart with so much love. She has amazing stories to tell me about her day and always eager to tell me what she learned. We don't have a very large family , so being part of such a caring center and loving staff makes it that much more amazing! read more

Our two sons attended TLE and we will be forever grateful for how the entire staff supported our children and our family. The two biggest gifts our oldest son (now 7) possess are compassion for others and the ability to confidently interact with adults. We attribute both of these characteristics to his development at TLE. Throughout his 5 years, he was known well by teachers and administration and given skills that will last him for a lifetime. Our younger son (now 3.5) was not quite 2 years old when he was diagnosed with a serious medical condition. Needless to say our family was in a tailspin. We will never forget the immediate response from the administrative team, Lali, Lisa, Lillian, and Sam, who immediately rallied behind us by dedicating energy, time, and love to make TLE a safe place for our son for his 9 hour school day. My girls have been going to TLE in Chelmsford for 9 months now. They are both so excited every morning to go, and get pretty upset leaving the school every day! They talk about their teachers, and how much they love them, along with the children and all of the staff. The girls love to share with us all of the projects they do each day, and how much fun they have playing new games all the time. The teachers do a great job of balancing fun with discipline and education. My oldest in the Kindergarten class didn't know the alphabet going in, and didn't show much interest; but now, she knows not only the letters, but the sounds they make, along with blending the letters, phonics and is starting to read--and enjoys it! My younger daughter just turned four, and wasn't interested in talking at all, but now is starting to form sentences with the help of her teachers in her Preschool class! This is an amazing daycare, but also a remarkable school, and we are very happy to be part of this wonderful institution. read more

My son went there as a newborn for a few months before he took a gap year. Even though we were there a short time the staff made him the sweetest going away card, which included pictures of him with many of the staff members. Now that he's finished studying abroad (home) he's been back there now almost a year. And in that year his development has been amazing. Before TLE he was not social at all, often screaming and crying at any interaction with anyone else his age. Now, he's outgoing, friendly, and overall a confident toddler. His speech and other skills are far more developed because of his teachers at TLE. His teachers have all been amazing, sweet and caring individuals that have always made us feel like he is very special. In fact, my wife and I have factored TLE into some major life decisions (moving/careers) because we value his experience there greatly. My daughter attended the learning experience at Chelmsford when she was a little over a year old. I was nervous putting her in because she had been home for so long and was not used to a child care setting. The teachers were beyond amazing with helping her transitions I could not have asked for anything more. As my daughter aged up and went from Toddlers to the Kindergarten program she made such amazing connections with the staff and other children. Upon entering public school my daughter had exceled in her reading skills and socials skills. I had received multiple compliments from her teachers on how friendly, caring, and eager to learn she was. I cannot thank this center enough for all they did for her not such academically but socially as well. My daughter still misses all the teachers she still talks about them and we keep in contact with a few that she made really close relationships with. read more

I have been apart of TLE family for 9 years! I first started searching for childcare for my stepmom who was pregnant and needed care right away! I walked into TLE of Chelmsford and was greeted instantly with smiling faces! A couple of years later, after my step-brother was enrolled, I went straight back to TLE and enrolled my son. The infant teachers and class are the best you can find! They are caring, compassionate and loving people! My son and now my daughter love going there everyday! They have made friends and are close to all the teachers! If I ever had question about tuition or the next classroom, the teachers and administration didn't hesitate to help me or my children. The owner, I can say personally is very caring, trusting, smart and cares about the children and staff, just like a family! TLE is apart of my family and I wouldn't change it for anything. read more

My daughter has been at this center since she was an infant. This center has been so amazing I can't list all the ways. I thought my daughter struggled with speech and when I brought the concern to the teachers and directors they were both so helpful in guiding me with the best resources. I unfortunately donot agree with these other reviews. I wouldn't want my daughter anywhere else. If they would have brought the concern to my attention first I would have been grateful no matter how hard. I want what is best for her. As for the directors you can actually catch my daughter glued to both directors at the end of the day. Before we leave the directors are always so kind and let her work with them and the other always has to bring her to the car. They genuinely care and want the best for each child. We started bringing our oldest when he was about 6 months old so he could socialize. He ony went for 1 day but I quickly realized that the experiences he was getting there, even at a young age, were so valuable. I now have my youngest there too, and I am eternally grateful for every member of the staff. They have taken in our children as if they were their own, and always provide positive feedback and help with our kids. Now that our youngest has walking issues, and a dairy allergy, we truly appreciate everyone at TLE because they go the extra distance to help her and make sure she is included. TLE has been a part of my family for the past 7 years. Both my son and daughter began attending when they were only 12 weeks old and I have every bit of trust in the teachers. They truly love my children and care for them as if they were their own. Over the years the teachers have worked with me to accommodate the needs of both of my children between food allergies, sensory, etc... My children have fun and learn so much. From learning all the colors to saying their ABC's and now even starting to read. This is my youngest final year at TLE and I'm already sad that we will have to say goodbye to so many of the great teaches and staff that have cared for my children. read more

Starting in March of 2009, my oldest was enrolled here at TLE. She has been loved and cared for by some of the most compassionate ladies I have ever met. I now have 2 more, 3 total, little girls who go to TLE in Chelmsford. My oldest is now in 2nd grade and always asks to accompany me in picking up her sisters. She always visits and hugs the teachers she used to have! I couldn't picture any other group of people caring for my princesses! They say it takes a village to raise a family.
