The kids are constantly learning through play while developing important motor skills and other developmental skills in a fun, engaging environment. First, and most importantly, the teachers and staff are amazing. The communication with the management team was always timely and we appreciated the transparency that was always provided around any teacher changes within classrooms (this was super important to us coming into the school). Any questions that I emailed the administrative team (usually after hours) were generally at least acknowledged that night (either with an answer or letting me know a timeframe I could expect an answer). Our boys were happy with the teachers and staff they interacted with (and even now when we pass by the school while driving they ask if they can stop and say hello) and simply RAVED about Chef Dan's cooking. The classrooms are spacious, clean and organized and we felt confident sending our kids there even during the COVID pandemic because of their thorough cleaning protocols and safety measures. We loved the structured curriculum that included the philosophy of learning while playing. Music and math were essentially part of most lessons throughout the day! Phonics and reading development were worked into the curriculum as well (some other places we looked at included these programs but they were an additional cost). Cost is usually a factor when selecting a daycare and we were very happy that the rates at Primrose were competitive with other similarly situated centers. We truly saw the value in what we were paying and the care and educational support and experience the kids were receiving. In total, we were at the school for nearly 3 years and one or both of our kids were in toddlers, preschool, pre-K, the private kindergarten program as well as the (newly created during COVID) school-age remote learning programs and both kids attended full-time. We are thankful to be part of the Primrose School of Chelmsford family and have met teachers and friends that we are confident will be in our lives for some time going forward.

We started our journey with Primrose in April of 2021, when I was returning back to work after being remote from the pandemic. The teachers and staff have encouraged and supported my son in so many ways and we see his confidence soaring. It's so easy sending him in everyday because he loves to go to school. We know when he's there that he is safe, cared for, and having the best time. Since then, my daughter has now fully transitioned to the toddler program with Miss Yanelis and Miss Yira. My daughter will come home and try to sing new songs, saying many new words, and continuing to have a great curriculum experience that is supporting her development. When she is in the hands of Miss Yanelis and Yira, I know she is well cared for, supervised, loved, learning, and having so much fun along the way. I don't think so many parents or children need that kind of help. Be suspicious of this. I do see some of these teachers in their classroom don't have good enough training to encourage your child or know what to say to teach your child to express or lead them through it. That learning and language development comes from good teachers and a good school. I don't see the teachers doing enough of that here. The preschool rooms are overloaded with children that the teacher:student ratio isn't kept within reason throughout the day so each child doesn't get the attention they need or deserve. Be careful with this daycare as they will try to play games with your child and label them as 'slow' at some point. I don't know the reason behind it, but it seems they are trying to push out current families out to let new families in so as to pretend to be sweet to the newer families and feel good about themselves while treating the current families with disrespect. Either way, don't believe what the director says here as most of it she tries to spin her own drama.

Let me tell you my own story. At first, I had selected a DIFFERENT daycare in Chelmsford, closer to my work. It soon became a horrifying experience. The teachers were uncaring and grizzled. The facility was dirty. I observed so many bad things: for example, my infant crying and neglected under an activity gym as the older babies in the same room received more attention. I was traumatized. I sobbed every day in the parking lot of my workplace because of the things I was seeing and hearing. I was even thinking of quitting my (amazing) job -- because I had nowhere else to put my daughter. No family support. What was I going to do? I desperately reached out to the mama social networks and (an angel) mama recommended the TLE Billerica. She had loved it; and only left because she moved closer to the city. I am still so thankful for that recommendation. My daughter was only at the other nasty place for four days. On July 3, 2014, after an early release for the holiday, I toured the TLE Billerica, met the director Melody, and the staff -- and the rest is history. A beautiful, happy history. My daughter is almost two now. She's been at TLE full-time since she was 11 weeks. No place is perfect -- but TLE Billerica is very close to it. The facility is so secure. So clean. Most of the teachers I met two years ago are still there. But the real treasure has been how warm and caring the teachers and staff have been to my daughter. Our highest priority criterion isn't price, but frankly, the TLE is also half the price of daycares near Boston where we originally looked. It was several hundred dollars less expensive per month than the first daycare we used. I should also mention the convenient location and hours. My daughter has severe eczema but her skin is so well moisturized during the day by her teachers, she doesn't even scratch. She's never had a diaper rash. Rarely gets sick. She's happy -- and when I pick her up, I can tell she's had a good day. The last daycare? Every day, I could tell she was having a bad day. As a baby, she struggled with naps. TLE helped us build a sleep routine. As a toddler, she struggled with solid food. TLE helped build her appetite! She's a big girl now. At 21 months, she has ABC's, 123's and full songs figured out. Every time I've had a need or concern, the response has been tremendous. I couldn't ask for more from a center. The teachers and staff at TLE have become our family. I have a good relationship with so many of the other parents who also sing this center's praises. When my husband and I count our blessings, TLE is at the top of the list every year. They gave this scared, first time (working) mama reassurance, support and love. I'll always be grateful.
