We had some challenges and concerns when the center was sold a to a larger company, but the current center director is phenomenal and brings the whole center to the level of care, fun, and education that I have expected from them over the years. Several of the teachers have been there as long as we have (or longer!) and all of them are creative, caring, and make the center a wonderful experience that my daughter loves going to each day. They have begun clearing and creating nature trails behind the building which gives them more and more opportunities to incorporate nature into the daily experience. I highly recommend the Village Learning Center to anyone looking for a quality, comprehensive daycare and preschool for their children.

The classes are small, the teachers are wonderful and caring and their schedule is perfect for the age-appropriate classes. My son has flourished at this school. Before Crayons he wasn't speaking much at all, but I saw a difference in only a matter of weeks. Additionally, he has since learned his alphabet, counting, songs, and even how to write his name at only three years old! On top of that, he has developed great social skills, creative skills and Crayons staff has been a key factor in helping him become fully potty-trained. Mrs. Lini has been incredibly kind towards us and runs a fabulous daycare at Crayons. I now have a three month old baby and am getting ready to head back to work and there is nowhere else I would feel better about leaving my children! For parents looking - the facilities are clean and safe and prices are very reasonable, especially in this area. Their hours are convenient for working parents 7am - 6pm. Staff gives great updates on your kids after each day and really keeps them engaged in their activities. Crayons does fun things for holidays (my son loved walking in his Halloween parade) and offer events like professional portraits for your kids! There is always the same student in her office (sitting on her lap, eating food and playing games) daily. That student is there during drop off and pick up. And it is ONLY that student. I have first hand heard (on multiple occasions) the director deny other students that ask to play with her while that one student was getting special treatment. The head teacher in the infant room went out on maternity leave and there was no replacement teacher for weeks. It's not fair for both the parents and the kids to have to adjust to different teachers DAILY. I mean she had 9 whole months to hire someone what's the deal? They claim to have a cleaning service come multiple times a week but it doesn't seem completely sanitary seeing as my child keeps getting sick. I love all the teachers I have met there.
