We would highly recommend Kiddie Academy to anyone looking for a top notch daycare/school facility in the area.

On multiple occasions I heard the teachers in the older childrens' rooms raising their voices…read moreloudly at children who were simply touching things or asking questions (in other words, normal kid behavior that needed gentle guidance & redirection, not an emergency situation of any kind). I could hear this while standing outside the building during pick-up and I also heard it when inside the building in the halls. My child started as a very young infant and the 2 caregivers that worked with her most closely seemed annoyed that she was struggling to take a bottle, or cried, or wanted to be held, or struggled with the texture of some foods when she was later starting on solids. All normal parts of development, learning to eat, etc. Caregiver would make negative comments to my baby in front of me at drop off if the baby started to fuss when separating from me. The 3rd caregiver she had at the school did seem caring and attentive and started to do sensory activities daily. Prior to this, it seemed that there were no books read, songs sang, games played, sensory activities. Staff wanted babies to lay and play by themselves. When I entered the room on a few occasions, I saw most staff scrolling on their phones while sitting on the floor rocking babies in rockers or on their bodies, and with older babies crawling around and not being interacted with. My child seemed traumatized by the lack of nurturing caregiver with whom to bond on her first times away from her mom.

Throughout her short time there, I often picked her up dirty (with dried boogers), her notebook and bag were messy with food, and daily updates were just generic notes with no personalized feedback. Incidents like her falling in the yard or another incident of another child throwing sand at her were never communicated -- I only learned about them from my daughter telling me directly. I emailed the director each time, but nothing improved. Despite leaving due to these concerns, A deduction of 25% was taken out of the security deposit they require and was still charged for two remaining days of the week she did not attend to due to these events. Parents deserve a safe, clean, and caring environment, and unfortunately this daycare did not provide that.

She tells parents the kids need therapy when they are doing normal developmental behaviors. Instead of teaching the behaviors that should be used (ie not hitting, throwing toys) they punish the kids and make the kids feel like they are bad. She calls the parent of the child that got hit to pin the parent against other parents. When the daycare opened, the teachers were great and taught the kids. All those teachers left after the first year the school was opened. Now there is no learning and only playing. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone!

Bloom offers a challenging and motivating curriculum, fun activities that are age appropriate and flexible schedules. They also have additional, external services and activities conveniently offered to the children onsite (i.e. Speech, Dance and Amazing Athletes to name a few.). We highly recommend Bloom Academy to everyone and anyone. We will be sad to see our daughter graduate this upcoming school year but we will always cherish the moments and memories that Bloom has given us.

The teachers are terrific and truly care. The curriculum taught to the little ones is great. The Center does fun things for the kids (and families) like the Christmas show, special floats (think Thanksgiving Day parade) and family day. I feel very informed about her activities each day, and the teachers are always very welcoming. The Center is very clean and keeps to strict standards in terms of upkeep, health, etc. I look forward to my daughter's continued learning and growth at the Center.

They are such warm, kind, inviting and caring individuals. Most of them are moms and treat the children like they are their own. It feels great to know my baby is in great hands and well cared for. Now that she can talk she tells us all about her friends at school and what she did that day. She talks about her teachers and how she loves them and they are her friends. It melts my heart. We love that they offer healthy food for the kiddos. They have fun events, parties and each day has a theme - wacky hair or mismatch day. They are very accommodating and easy to work with. She learns so much, has a great vocabulary and she's very social and this is all due to KinderCare!

Apple hill review…read more Would give apple hill 0 stars if I could! My family usually loves to build up others and their businesses, so this was very difficult to write. We sent our young daughter to Apple Hill and trusted the staff with our baby girl. However, I am heartbroken to say that she is about to turn 2 years old, and on her birthday will be littered with welts and bruises. It breaks my heart when we look back on photos of this milestone she is going to ask me "daddy why so I have so many injuries?" The staff at Apple Hill was not only condescending, but dismissive of our constant concerns of our daughters repeated injuries. (It also seemed the language barrier between us was something they heavily used to their advantage). I want to be very clear that I understand that toddlers are still learning to walk and are not always stable on their feet. I understand that sometimes babies do get hurt. But there is a difference between the occasional bump and scrape versus consistent and nearly constant injuries on a nearly daily basis. Not to mention, this facility should be baby proof! I expect if she falls she would be protected! Her injuries were constant. I had clients at my job questioning me as to why every time they saw my daughter she had a new injury. Some of these clients see my daughter once or twice a month! She was picked up 2-3 days in a row with new lumps on her head. The black eye she received has left a scar. Each time I look at it, I feel I failed her. The worst part was seeing my daughter so badly bruised, knowing the people that were supposed to protect her were the ones who couldn't give me any answers. When I asked for documentation, they had none when I asked for video they had none. They also suggested watching the live stream video from their lobby, but if I was able to sit and watch my daughter all day from their lobby, I would've had her in my home where I knew she would be safe. Instead, I was working to give her the best life possible. Instead of listening and trying to reassure us, they downplayed our feelings and tried to pass off some of these wounds as bug bites. However, after taking her to a doctor, it was confirmed they were welts and bruises and not bug bites. Sadly, I do not feel comfortable, leaving our daughter in their care anymore, as they had no idea what was going on with her. I fear I will never know if it was a staff member, another child, or unsafe facilities. I also learned many new things about this facility only after my concerns were brought to light, such as at the end of the day all ages of children are brought together, and the teachers couldn't explain how she got hurt which means they weren't watching her. I don't write this review to hurt them because tarnishes a reputation doesn't bring me joy, I write it to hopefully protect another child from injury.

They took 8 hours a day worth of subsidy money that I get for my child when he was only going 4 hours a week and still made us pay a copay. This place use to be good until they got new owners and now this place is a nightmare. They also keep all the kids in one class for a good part of the morning cause they don't have enough staff. So you have 2 year Olds with 4 and 5 year olds. I pray no body has to go through what we went through with my son. If they kept the childrem busy and not just sitting then maybe the children wouldnt get into things.
