I cannot even begin to express how much I loved our time at the Learning Tree. I wish we hadn't had to move, because we have yet to find a great replacement! I had been a stay at home mom so making the switch to daycare was scary for me (as I am sure it is for everyone). My daughter started to attend the Learning Tree at 20 months of age and was always so happy and well-cared for! Cristie is a wonderful teacher and the assistant teachers in the room (Kim) are kind and loving to the kids as well. Cristie took the time to really get to know me and my child. She always kept me informed of how my daughter was doing and gave me individual attention. My child was constantly learning new songs, reading new books, trying new foods, mastering new skills, and making crafts galore. The focus on curriculum and learning here is awesome. Perhaps most importantly, when my daughter had an emergency at school, I was SO thankful to Cristie for handling the situation calmly and quickly! She probably handled it better than I would have if it had happened at home! Aside from the wonderful toddler program at the Learning Tree, the school in general is well-run (thanks Kim & Erica!), clean, and fabulous. The special events they throw for parents are fantastic (the annual Art Fair, seasonal breakfasts, and celebrations are plentiful). They also make such a huge effort to provide healthy, organic food for snacks and lunch -- this is a HUGE deal for me and very difficult to find elsewhere, especially when it's included in the VERY COMPETITIVE tuition. They also make a big effort to recycle and to use natural, common sense methods of cleaning and deodorizing. My daughter really misses the Learning Tree, and so do I (perhaps they should open a location in Chicago?!). We joined the Learning Tree back in September 2016 After touring several facilities we knew this was the right fit for our family. When we first joined back in September, our son was 10 months old and was used to in home care provided by family only. The adjustment to a center was huge not only for him but for our entire family. I cannot say enough good things about how the staff at the Learning Tree assisted us and our little one in this transition. We absolutely loved and 100% trusted our infant 3 teachers Miss Cathy, Miss Erika & Miss Rita. They are truly both motherly, engaging, and attentive to each of the children's individual needs and personalities. They called us if they feel anything is wrong or abnormal in anyway and always provide us with information about his day. Miss Rita, Miss Erika, and Miss Cathy are both true professionals and yet maintain caring/nurturing relationships with each child and family in their room. We have recently made the switch to the toddler room which is another huge transition for our little guy. While we are not impressed with the recent huge turnover of teachers in the toddler program we absolutely LOVE the new assistant teacher Miss Bria in toddler 2. Miss Bria is friendly, warm, and greets both myself and my child daily. She gives me updates about my child's day. Although my son sometimes struggles in the morning leaving us, we know when Miss Bria is there it will never be a problem due to her warm demeanor and good relationship she has worked to form so quickly with each child. We started our daughter at TLT - Livonia North in December 2016. She was 16 months old at the time. It was her first time at daycare and we are very scared and nervous to drop her off. Ms Cindy and Ms. Noreen were so great with her. Ms. Cindy used to pick her up and cuddle with her a lot which made her feel safe and comfortable since it is her first time away from home with out mom, dad or grand parents around. She was very caring and helped my baby to settle down well. Ms. Noreen is very much experienced and seem to know how to handle kids very well. She is a wonderful teacher and she is prompt in giving updates and pays attention to every detail. My little one finally started enjoying going to daycare and it is now a safe and fun place for her. She is constantly learning new songs, painting and eating on her own too. Other teachers like Ms. Kristyn looks after her too so well. As parents, We did lot of research when we have to choose a daycare for our baby. We are glad we chose The Learning Tree North. Though it is a long drive from home it is worth it. Everyone over there are super friendly. It is a huge location and very spacious unlike other daycares. Zono Sanitech and Organic food are the other best features offered at this facility which we don't find often at other places. Kim and Nikki from the office are friendly and helpful. We couldn't be happier in our choice in selecting The Learning Tree as our daughters daycare/preschool! The other facilities that we toured lacked the security and friendliness that TLT has. The fingerprint door lock gives only parents and staff access to the classroom hall. It's comforting knowing that when you drop off your child, they are most definitely safe and secure. The staff is unbelievably friendly and loving. Our daughters preschool teacher, Miss Amanda, is so welcoming each and every drop off. I've witnessed her patience and calming behavior with the children on more than one occasion. She takes the time to really listen to the children and understand them. My daughter loves to teach us new songs and games shes learned at school and its amazing how much she's learning and maturing from only going a few days a week. We even play school at home and she loves to be Miss Amanda, she's a great role model and makes learning fun. She is truly wonderful with children and our daughter loves her. We love getting updates through the kid reports app, photos, nap time and length, and what they did or didn't eat at meals, they've got it all covered so there are no mysteries. I cannot say enough great things about The Learning Tree North. I have two children that attend TLT. The staff is great! I receive daily emails on my child's day from what they ate to their activities, routine, etc. And, on some days, I receive video or pictures or my child and playing, laughing, enjoying their time at TLT. One thing that I have always loved about TLT is that they work hard on providing my children with healthy varieties of food for every meal and snack. I know that I can depend on TLT to provide my child with healthy food throughout the day. At meal time, the kids set the tables and clean up and meals are served family style. We also utilize the before and after school care program for my oldest. During the school year, TLT drops my child off at school and then picks her up and bring her back to TLT so that I have only one stop after a long day at work. During the summer, the school aged kids have a blast on field trips. From bowling, to petting farms, to roller skating and pools, they are always on the go. TLT is able to provide more summer fun and activities for my children than I would be able to if I were home during the summer. The learning tree is hands down THE BEST daycare center we have ever been to. It is so wonderful that as a working parent they 100% involve us in out daughters daily life. From the up to the minute reports on the phone app( yes app! No daily paper sheets that get thrown away!), to the daily emails about daily classroom activities, and the PICTURES! So many pictures! :) Out side of all of that Im still free to pick up the phone and check on my litte with no judgment on the other line! Miss. Kari has been amazing! Our daughter has grown and developed so much since starting two months ago. The change in her mood and personally is just blossoming. Our 14 month old has transitioned from baby to full on todler in a matter of weeks. Her speech and communication in the last few weeks are unbelievable! She listens to directions and follows routines so well now. I believe it is all because of the learning based activities, play and daily routine shes engaging in.From art projects dance parties, and yoga to watering gardens and watching plants grow. The Learning Tree is an Excellent facility and I can't imagine sending my child anywhere else! They have non-stop curriculum, activities, learning and fun to keep my 2.5 year old not only fulfilled and happy...but also challenged. They continuously monitor progress and make sure that children are in the right classes and I am always impressed to hear about a new party or parent/charity event they are throwing. My daughter's teachers are incredible! Savannah W. and Korrine S. are two of the most wonderful, caring and responsible people I've ever met! Only those of you that have children will understand how important it is to drop your child off in the care of someone you completely trust...so that you can leave knowing your most prized possession is in good hands. That's how I feel when I leave my daughter with Korrine and Savannah....and my daughter lighting up with a huge smile on her face at the mention of their names also tells me they're doing an amazing job. The Learning Tree has been a great place for our kids the last few years. We have had experiences in all of the rooms (all age brackets), and we have always been very pleased with the teachers. We know that our children are receiving fantastic care by people who truly care about each and every child, and want to not only help them learn and grow, but also have fun regardless of age or ability. Teachers always take the time to talk with us when we pick up the kids and give us information on their days and any other pertinent news. Our children have become very attached to their teachers and we couldn't imagine anyone else watching them when we are not available to be there. We also love the facility in the fact that there is a gym and long, wide hallways in which the kids can play and interact when it is too cold to be outside or the weather isn't cooperating. The food is fantastic, and it is even better that it is all provided with no outside food allowed--especially since one of our children has a food allergy. My three-year-old twins have just recently started attending The Learning Tree-North in Livonia. I have nothing but very positive things to say about this location for the preschool portion. Their teacher, Ms. Kim is very patient and kind, she seems very gentle with my girls and I can tell has a lot of experience! The food quality is excellent and they offer a great variety of healthy food each day. They send kid-reports throughout the day which includes pictures and even occasionally videos of your children (these are wonderful to receive). The building is very secure, parking is perfectly fine and convenient, and the location is a previous elementary school so the kids have access to a gym on days when they can't go outside (which is amazing!) My girls both love it here, and one sometimes even cries when I pick them up because she doesn't want to go home. Thank you Learning Tree for the awesome preschool for my girls! read more

The Learning Tree in North Livonia is an amazing place. I have my 2 year old and 4 year old attending for almost a year now. The staff are incredibly kind to the children and have made such a difference in our girls lives. The school provides all food and snacks, using organic and healthy food. We just attended their Christmas festival and were amazed at how much effort was put into the family style meals, decorations, children's songs, and even having Santa there! It is a really great community and I cant say enough wonderful things about it. Our teachers are Rachel D., Kamryn M., and Ashley S. Its hard having your children attend daycare, but these wonderful ladies helped to ease my anxiety. We have known Miss April for over two years now when our oldest daughter was in her preschool class a few years ago. Now our youngest is in Miss April's class, and we couldn't be happier! Miss April is great with the children. Our youngest (three and a half) just surprised us a few weeks ago by writing her name! We couldn't believe it. I wish we could have taken credit for that, but all the credit goes to Miss April! She's an excellent teacher and has built a great foundation for learning and setting the children up for success. My daughter's independence, social skills and confidence has grown since joining the preschool class. We were thrilled to have Miss April again as a teacher. Nothing makes me happier than to see my daughter run to greet Miss April with a big hug in the morning. There's peace of mind knowing that she's in such great hands! read more

The Learning Tree has been such a blessing to our family! My daughter (now 4) has been at the Learning Tree since she was 12 weeks old. She loves going to school and I know that has everything to do with the staff and the curriculum. Miss Ashley and the pre-k program have been wonderful for my her! Miss Ashley lovingly and enthusiastically teaches the children and leads them through their day. The Learning Tree has an awesome weekly summer field trip program for the pre-k children which was the highlight of my daughter's summer!! I had the opportunity to join the class on their trip to the zoo and was extremely impressed by the control that Miss Ashley, Mr. Evan, and Miss Ann Marie had on the group out in public. I cannot praise Cathy Dunlap @ The Learning Tree North. She helped put my mind at ease from day one. And when I say day 1, literally before my child even set foot in the door. I was a nervous nelly so scared to have anyone with my little baby girl besides me. Cathy is the creative soul of the group in the infant's rooms. She's constantly challenging my child's mind with creative painting techniques from rolling a toy fire truck over paper to tossing a ball in a giant jar with some paint... So much fun and play for these little kiddos to enjoy. Cathy's love for the children shows each and every day when I come in to pick up, she's always there with a full run down of the funny antics or silly sounds my kid learned that day. Ms. Kim in Preschool 1 is the best teacher ever! I appreciate the fact that she is consistently communicative about the positive, as well as any feedback that would improve the learning experience for my daughter. Ms. Kim is a great listener and she's always pleasant and nice. Our daughter loves her and always makes it a point to run and hug Ms. Kim at the end of the day. Ms. Kim is very creative in coming up with exciting and interesting lesson plans. My husband and I enjoy reinforcing at home what our daughter learned in school; we like that our daughter asks in depth questions about the subject matter. I have definitely seen a dramatic increase in the amount of information that my daughter has learned while Ms. Kim has been her teacher. I wish Ms. Kim could teach all of the classeas at The Learning Tree! read more

I am very happy that I chose the learning tree north livonia as the daycare for my baby. I find the directors and the teachers deeply engaged in my five month old's care and learning. I love the teachers in my baby's classroom and want to recognize Ms Gale. I admire the personal touch with which she anticipates my baby's needs and attends to them. She is also deeply involved in doing the most for my baby's development such as exercises to develop his motor skills; working with me to continue doing the activities at the daycare that I do at home; and ensuring that all processes are adhered to so as to make my baby's time at the center easy and fun. I was a stay at mom until my son started here at 11 months. I was very particular about who I wanted to care for my son while I worked two days per week. After touring many places I found The Learning Tree North to be the best fit for our family. I found them to have the best building with the most space for the kids to play, while being safely separated by age group. The organic menu and all natural cleaning products was a big deal for me as well. I wanted somewhere that cared about these things as much as we do at home. My son loves it here and that's a big thanks to the awesome teachers and staff! I so far LOVE the learning tree and feel unbelievably comfortable with my infant baby in their hands.I thought it would be alot harder then it was to let him go at 2-1/2 months, but Miss Rita and Miss Krystina always give me daily reports when I pick him up at the end of the day on how he did , how much he ate and how his day overall went. When he had bad diaper rash they even called me while I was at work, just to let me know how bad it was getting. Which I was honestly surprised and was so happy they did. It is hard being a full time working mom and still think about your baby all day, everyday, but having him at the Learning Tree has eased my mind. My Wife and I absolutely love the Learning Tree. Our daughter has been going here for a year and a half and she has benefited so much thanks to their care. She's currently in Ms. Noreen and Ms. Cathy's classroom and we feel blessed that they're in our daughters life. Each and every day when she comes home we're amazed at what she's learned that day. On top of her wonderful teachers, the Learning Tree offers healthy organic meals and snacks, added safety features we did not find at other centers we looked at, and they really make you feel like they're there not only for your child- but your entire family.
