Kay and Emily run a fantastic farm and they genuinely care about the well-being of their horses! Both of these women have a passion and drive to continually learn everything they can about the horse world. Anything from how to better the health of their horses to new dressage techniques. They also have experience in multiple disciplines of riding. One thing to note that many barns cannot say is that this farm is drama-FREE. Meadowlark has a laid-back and welcoming community. It is perfect for everyone of all ages and disciplines. Additionally, Meadowlark has a fantastic Horse Camp that's extremely popular - the spots fill up super fast! I have been riding with Emily for over 2 years now and it's amazing! She caters her teaching style to how her students learn best and has no problem answering questions. If you're on the fence about taking lessons or even bringing your child to Horse Camp. I encourage you to at least try it! I would recommend this farm to anyone! They upload pictures to their app and are very organized in how they relay information about my child's daily activities. I went and toured the school and it appeared to be a great fit. But "all that glitters is not gold"!! The owner is nice and Admin/front desk people were always pleasant. But teachers were subpar to say the least. They were immature, unprofessional, don't know how to communicate and lacked compassion for the children. I even overheard on more than one occasion, a teacher yelling at the kids when picking up my child. Also, as a whole the school needs to communicate better when things are going on within the school. For example, whether it's announcement for picture day, spirit week, or illness has the potential to be spreading around the school. As parents we are busy heading to work,etc. and may not have the time to stop and read what's on the wall(s) of the school. In cases I mentioned above the school should be sending out emails to parents not just sheets of paper posted around the school. Because by the time a parent may have the time to slow down and read it maybe too late. All in all, this was my experience and believe there are better schools to choose from in the Plymouth-Canton area.

Staffing wise, it appears to be run by exactly two teenagers who looked like they were summoned mid-Snapchat and given a whistle. I'm not sure who was supervising who, but it definitely wasn't an adult. And the bathrooms? An adventure. Two out of three stalls were out of toilet paper, which feels like a bold choice for a place full of kids and parents who paid way too much to be there. For the amount of money we paid, I expected at least a basic level of cleanliness and maybe one employee old enough to rent a car. The kids had fun (because of course they did), but at these prices I'd rather just give them Red Bull and let them run in the yard. Would I come back? We then experienced a minor complication regarding the boys' age group (by no fault of ISW, but CCN). Once again Danielle swiftly did all she could to remedy the situation and somehow find room for two extra children! As a single mom, you can imagine I was extremely stressed. Danielle, Brittany & Rachel all miraculously made this hasty, unexpected transition run smoothly! Since the boys have been attending day care at ISW, they've learned so much! They've made several new friends & have had many new experiences! I love the pictures sent to my email almost daily showing the fun & education experienced by my boys. They have so much fun in the classroom with everyone including Mr Bobby, Mr Jay, and Miss Brittany!!!
